well ive got myself a project...was only going to be a repair and paint project but I'm thinking things are going to get out of hand as they do haha, has 5k with twin carbies, 5speed kp61 starlet gearbox, cut springs in the front and taken the second biggest leaf spring out of the rear but will soon put it bak in and put 2inch blocks in as the leaves are 2 soft now haha, painted it matt black and then the next day had a uhm..lets say..nudge? the next day.. so hunting more parts, hav found pretty much all of them in 2days haha, all i need now is chrome bumper, radiator and valance panel and I'm away.. will be painted capsicum green with gold pearl thru it, going to work th…

Just got my project AE71 on Sunday, I bought it off another member here Kebin. Its a manual, and being an AE71 it has all the gear to drop a 4AGE engine into it. :P That is the overall plan. I bought the Rolla from a family, who left their parent's car in the garage of an estate for years. Car had great interior, body in decent shape, and minimal rust, aside from the battery leaking acid onto metal. Corolla came with a 3kc 4 speed, which had 25,000 miles. Haven't post here in a while, but here goes.. Hi guys and girls, just wanna show my latest purchase. 1984 AE71 Wagon, with stock 4ac+5 speed manual. Stock interior except for the CD player on the dash. Stock suspension. Stock everything really :P. I'll let the pics do the talking. 3K began to chew oil, valve seals gone, bottom end barings gone, few other tiddley bits going pear shaped. Decided to send it to engine hospital and have a makeover. I know, a 3K is not worth it but it is something to waste money on. Step one. Took out the engine. Took half a day. Step two. Pulled every thing apart. Send bits off. Turned out two of the rear cylinders had absolutely NO water flow around them, totally cloged with crap. Good time to pull apart it would seem. The cam was absolutely hammered aswell. I bought this beautiful nanna spec rt142 corona a few weeks back. Never had much to do to with coronas, but with the 22re fuel injected engine and factory 5 speed I just couldn't say no My plans are... find the best way to get decent steering lock and fit coilovers, some decent 15 or 16 inch rims and moar low but to keep somewhat of a nanna spec appeal. As mentioned in my ke30 thread I bought this little beastie yesterday, had been sitting in a grandmas front lawn for 10 years untouched. We put a battery and some fuel in and it went second turn of the key, absolutely no brakes but that didn't stop us going for a drive out of the driveway and down the driveway to the shed and in for a bit of disassembly. So i recently bought a 1977 corolla deluxe 2 door coupe for 900$ so far i havent got much done to it, besides getting drunking and smashing part of it with a bat. oops! G'day all.. Bought an EA Falcon off a forum member for a bargain price last week, took delivery of it on Friday night.. its my boonger and I love it ;). As it sits, it runs the 3.9L powerhouse (!), three speed auto (should have put oil in it for the trip home) and an unknown ratio diff. Its 'chardonnay' in colour, complete with faded paint! Gday, bought this car a bit under a year ago and have been slowly working on it. Its a 1975 ke36. Its a fair heap but I love it, so far I have fixed the indicators, breaks somewhat, horn, removed heaps of surface rust from the engine bay, replaced the clutch, put 2" lowering blocks in the back and flipped the leafs. It also has 14x7 (0 offset) Globelines. I have some 4.5kg ###### springs for the front as well but they aren't in yet so it is still sitting way too high at the front. well i sold my cressida a few weeks back as it gets dirty 10 minutes after i wash it, so i went looking for some cars and this corona sedan about an hour from my house, looked very overrated so i gave the bloke a call and said yeah come see it. made the journey out there and it was a piece of shit, had dents, scratches and rust. he must of taken the photos of when he just got it as it didn't look like the same car in the add. Had plans for doing up my ae71 but crashed it so needed a replacement.. :) so now i have an 81 ke70 in fair condition.. not an issue though. started stripping it down and yeah theres what i would call some rust, (others may say alot :P ) well progress so far started stripping the interior apart, and sanding back all the bog and paint for prep. this is how it looked when i picked it up. plans finish off stripping interior. get exterior all fixed and primed. repair/replace rim/s remove engine, g/box entire driveline. weld in chassie supports.
