Here's my story. I bought this one owner, high mileage 7AFE 5spd AE102 wagon back in Oct 2008 with plans of doing a swap but not the typical 4AG (ZE/20v) swap. It's my grocery getter / daily driver so my choice of engine would have to provide good low end torque without boost & have balls for passing as necessary. The only engine that met my needs in a FWD application was a redtop BEAMS (197hp / 152tq) from a 1998+ Toyota Celica SIII ST202. The engine was purchased in Mar 2009 from JDMSource out of Calgary, AB. The swap was done in Apr 2009 entirely by my good friend Adam from AMT Machine Shop which took a total of 9 business days! Just picked this old girl up from its original owner, I saw it forsale on a facebook buy swap sell group and it screamed "BUY ME", I had been eyeing it off for years going around town. it has 177000km on the clock, very minor rust in the rear arches, a small hit to the rear and thin paint on the bonnet otherwise the interior is perfect and the paint apart from the bonnet will come up very good with a wax. Even the dash pad is great (this is rare out here in the country as the horrible summers get to it. The little 4k needs a rocker cover gasket and maybe o rings on the spark plug tubes but otherwise the engine is going to stay 100% stock. the rest of the car is go…

I bought this about a month ago, with 57k on it, full granny spec, for $600 :-) and I lowered it, sprayed the rims black, all in a mornings work!

hey guys, i thought id better start keeping you guys updated on the progress on the little beast, ill give you a bit of back ground info, its a 1978 ke30 4 door, it cost me 600, its hail damaged, and had major rust which is now gone since yesterday, its just got the 3k in it which was imported from japan because the original blew, its runs quiet well. i think thats about it, ill put up a few pics of what ive done in two weeks, and i will be keeping everyone updated. also the two rust spots I'm posting are on the bonnet and the major one was on the back left structural point which is now gone.

just picked this RT142 up on sat, should hopefully get a RWC done this thursday coming and if all goes well have rego done by next week. 310,*** km, 2.4 EFI, Very clean interior, run's very well. Paint's a bit rough on the roof and bootlid but no rust except for a little bit (that i can see) under the front passenger on the car body. Will most likely need some parts for it but it's going to have to be a slow project as i'm at tafe full time and work only part time. I have owned this car twice, this is the second time I have attempted to build it for a 4age.. First owned the car somewhere around 10 years ago.. Paid $700 for what was a decent car, as time went on I purchased an import corona turbo and got sick of the corolla. After sitting in the weather for a few years I decided to fit a 4age in it... Hi Everyone its been a while since ive been on here got myself a new car and its a corolla again its like my 10th rolla, 1988 Corolla II GP Turbo 109000Km's Auto (sucks but it will do) 16x7 buddy club P1 Racing SF boost gauge 7" dvd player kicker splits and everything else is stock but the interior is really good unsure if i want to put some more power into it and make a fwd street drag car or leave it as is.

Hi everyone, here are some pics of my AE112r this is the most recent photo i have. the day i brought her home. Very neat and tidy. This is how it looked for a while, i'm in the process of making the cutout grille again. After a wash at home, probably one of the last photos where the paint was still nice. My clear coat has since decided it no longer like my paint and they're going their separate ways. will post some more pics soon, let me know what you think. i'll also update with a list of the mods i've made. Not posting to show off, but posting to share. Recently had the great opportunity to purchase this car with less than 22k original miles. Still has the 1975 registration year decal on the plate, which I've since moved and covered in the front, to allow me to place the new registration decal on the rear plate. Also, comes with original tools, tool pouch, jack, jack tools, and best of all...the owner's manual! LOL Comes stock as stock can be, down to the original unblemished hubcaps. Hey guys and gals so it seems i have found myself another rolla :) its a 1979 ke55 cs sedan which has been sitting in a hay shed for the last 12-18 months as the owners had no use for it. Its a 4 speed manual and stock as a rock right down to the factory philips tape deck, owners manuals and service manuals, even the original number plates from 1979 :) plans are pretty much tidy it up and keep it as a daily driver so far. This got started after seeing a Crown ute wanted when checking the wanted to buy section a few weeks ago. I was on Gumtree browsing and typed in "toyota Crown Ute" and 1 came up in all of Oz. It was in Inverell NSW and I was in Caloundra QLD so after a few phone calls and Douggy agreeing on a road trip off we went in a borrowed Landcruiser with trailer. Since the ute was still regoed in NSW I drove from Inverell to Glen Innes then Douggy drove north and just kept going, stopping at Warwick for food n sleep. Bought this about 2 months ago, gave wash and wax today. Took some photos thought i will share them with you guys. It was a 1 owner, 180,000 kms on the clock no rust,drives so tight. I think its a nice find. And a couple of pics of my ke20.

After looking around for a cheap daily for a while this popped up. AE82 4 door sedan running a stock but cleaned up 4AC to 3 speed auto. Some random wheels with king springs all round (found the receipt for $360!). I'm giving a budget build a bit of a crack with this one - I picked her up for $200, bargain. The paint is great, interior and motor need a little love, but it runs and drives. Happy with the purchase all in all. Running tally (will be updated as time goes on. hey guys, I'm kinda new to this forums thing but it seems like alot of you know your stuff when it comes to rollas so here i am i am in the process of building myself a unique rolla ride originally i was looking at the usual 4ag options (I'm a toyota purist) :jamie: but it looks like i am getting my hands on a 3t-gteu motor! twinspark motor! i was really excited when a mate said he could get me one reckon this is a good idea??? i have read a bit about the motors and the practicality of them and this is gonna be a dirt cheap option compared to the 4ag line up but yeah, an advice or ideas would be awesome at this point :bash:

well ill start off with the 4k power house lol bought it after selling my ke30, just done very basics... falcon springs, locker, stereo and ma61's needs a little bit of work like a new passanger front gaurd but thats about it think its done 95,000 k's now and remember kids always make sure your wheel nuts are done up nice and tight lol now for the cake basically just bought it for something to thrash at track days and burnout comps ect just been fixing up some little things that needed to be done. just a stock ca18det with 3 inch exhaust, screamer pipe and a front mount and some fancy tune made 155rwkw on 6psi Name…

Hey all, Picked this up a while ago with a suspected blown engine, so i bought it to just chuck another engine into it. So i inspected it to see how it was and what the problem was, i couldnt find any visible fault. So i put charge to it and it started up and ran fine. Let it warm up a bit then took it for a drive. Drove good, just felt like it needed a bit of a tune up. Came back looked under the bonnet and it had a coolant leak or stream if you like coming from the thermostat housing. Pulled that apart and found it had been dodgy'ed up very badly, new gasket over old one with silicon. So i cleaned it all up and sealed it up using silicon (Good old liquid gasket!…

Picked this up today, needed a car in reserve for when I find a new job and give up my company car - perhaps this will motivate me to really start looking because my job is utter bollocks. Mega downgrade haha, but I'm broke (new mortgage) and 70's are cheap to fix and familiar. Has a Towbar which will come in handy too. Its borderline for fixing....but I might use it to teach myself panel work and rust repairs if I can be arsed, shell is pretty good for a 70. As you can see though, front damage will need to be fixed, and a huge section of bog from a previous repair is about to fall off the back door! Funny. ok so i finally woke up and slapped myself in the face, and went to eastern creek car is a ke20 running a 3t gte, twin cam turbo. currently gettin 154hp at the wheels (dyno'd) currently running of only 4 spark plugs, with a bullsh|t front mount, the worst piping ive seen in my life, and the shortest gear ratios going around. overall the cars a little machine and great fun and worst of all a holden camira computer. now for the details on my time. message of u were there and if u ran ur car. mine was gray with hyfill front end. looks like a pilchard my first run. r/t .238 my best reaction of 3runs 60' …

objective - dedicated drift car i bought the 70 for $600 from a little old lady in north brisbane, the car was immaculate! not a spot of rust, interior was clean motor was great. unfortunatly due to switching jobs like pairs of underpants, the car had to sit in the yard for about a year. at times it had a p76 leyland v8 or a ca18 sitting in the engine bay, but both required wayyyy to much work. then one day i was sitting around thinking. hey wait. i have a mazda Bp 1.8 dohc sitting in my laser (did the conversion a year or 2 ago).. conversion to rwd (ding!) so i start googling for information on people that have done a conversion like this into a ke70. Hi All Had one of those brain waves the other day, lexus v8 into a rolla. then got thinking, if I'm going to all that trouble y not put an irs into it and make it a total weapon. Okay so i'm new to all this I just got given a Ke55 by my girlfriend It was her first car when she was 16 now she is 22 she wanted something more practical so i scored it Its not in the best condition but it starts first time every time and runs fine I wanna make it so i don't get defected(I'm a P plater) So i am gonna replace the damaged panels first and maybe do an engine swap later on can anyone help out with panels and such?
