Well I'm off to the holy land in a couple of weeks to go car shopping for myself and a couple of friends, so I thought I might have a quick look at the auction yards themselves just out of curiosity. Um... I'm going to need some VERY comfy shoes. Just a couple here as examples... Nagoya. Note that there is a multi-level carpark in this one, as well as the surrounding lots.

I was recently pointed out by toy-yoda of a mistake of the number 82 being hachi jyu, I have recently changed that to hachi ni as 8 = hachi and 2 = ni and 86 owners say that 86 = hachi roku. Last night I was doing some web browsing on japanese counting and found that hachi juu (ju) is 8 - 10 which is actually 80 and in japanese counting a 2 digit number actually combines 3 words (alot like german), so really 82 and 86 is the following: 82 = hachijuuni (8 0 2) 86 = hachijuuroku (8 0 6) And for the 71 owners: nanajuuichi This probably isn't really important and most of you won't care but meh.

So I just quit my nice enough paying full-time job, right. Now, I have decided to do pizza delivery (Domino's Virginia for you locals, so order up so you schmucks can pay me!) for a while, as it's a) easy b) i've done it before. Now, it doesn't pay much.. which doesn't help the $260,000 mortgate, bills etc.. I AM looking in the various areas such as online etc, but word of mouth employment is also a very good way of finding a job. SO, if ANYONE knows of jobs going, preferrably full-time, in Brisbane, that is in the areas of a) retail/customer service (this has pretty much been my 6 year working life) b) printing/media etc (i've been doing b…

Hello There, Sorry if this is a little bit off topic but I'll ask anyway. I live in the philippines and already have a wife and a 3 year old kid. in the past year I've been planning to migrate to a better place than this S**Thole. One of the countries I'm looking into is Australia because of the manpower requirements in other regions, and of course my sister in law lives in Sidney. I've also heard that there are sponsorship programs there, basically the employer will contact immigration and immigration will fix all my papers for me and my family, that is if I fit in their manpower requirement. So if any of you know anybody...... Maybe I'm asking too …

Well some of you may remember this car from the random photo thread: Well it has been a very long build process for the owner John which had just included 6 months of extensive body work and paint (since it was damaged in a roll over by peter williamson), Long story short the owner had spent $$$$ into the triple digits to get it where it was and the last stop on its journey was to our workshop as it was meant to race on the weekend, Unfortunatly there was alot of work to complete in just one week so the owner (John) decided that he would just take it out to the track (morgan wark - warwick) to put on show as it was a historics event, He came into w…

A mature (over 40) lady gets pulled over for speeding... Older Woman: Is there a problem, Officer? Officer: Ma'am, you were speeding. Older Woman: Oh, I see. Officer: Can I see your license please? Older Woman: I'd give it to you but I don't have one. Officer: Don't have one? Older Woman: Lost it, 4 years ago for drunk driving. Officer: I see...Can I see your vehicle registration papers please. Older Woman: I can't do that. Officer: Why not? Older Woman: I stole this car. Officer: Stole it? Older Woman: Yes, and I killed and hacked up the owner. Officer: You what? Older Woman: His body parts are in plastic bags in the trunk if you wa…

Okay, so we know that there is something wrong with all KE30/KE55 Quartz Clocks. They sometimes work, sometimes not. What I want to know is has anyone had this occur to them... I'm driving along, i look down. I read the time on the retarded clock and realise that its the same as the time on my radio. Its pretty trippy considering the clock starts and stops when ever it wants, and for it to tell the correct time (While still ticking). But this has happened to me like up to 4 times now. Well, i just had to share and wanted to know if its happened to anyone. My mate has a RA40 Celica and it has the same issues and has happened to him too. Jon. JiP_01

In a recent topict in the NT section of BoostCruising, people were asked to discuss their backyard rally cars. A few people listed Corollas - one guy just had a picture with the words "The Goblin" listed above it. Here's the picture: This definitely goes with some of the other cool cars that live up here, or are being built up here, including our red Starlet, as well as a JZA80 Supra that is currently being built by someone with a 1FZ-FE which is going to receive 12 throttle bodies and two turbos. :D
