The bolts that hold gearbox CM to the chassis The bolts and nuts that hold the box to the block. the bolts that hold the bottom of the front guard to the chassis the bolts the hold the tailshaft to the diff, 4 of them I'm sure. Thats all i can think of for now, Just need to know sizes so i can buy some as i don't have them, Regards Dan

In saying this i wouldn't know what size or from what car to get them from. would a 3.5cm between the cross mem and the motor work, any help would be great.

Hello guys, sorry for the noob question. Ain't a car expert here. i Juz got a AE93 7AFE corolla which has a shaky rear view mirror. i believe its screwed on to the top. Anyone knows of any parts similar to the original at maybe supercheap auto ? if possible i want to seek for the exact replacement not those paste on the windscreen types. Also can this take the "powered" side mirror mods?

Hi guys, I am in that mental debate situation for my 5K I'm building. Trying to work out if I want Dizzy Regraph, Jaycar Prog Ignition or perhaps the Megajolt ignition V4 Read up about the Megajolt, but I can't seem to find many people in Aus using it, and I reckon that may be due to the lack of access to the Ford EDIS gear you need to run it. Anyone out there used it? Tom.

I went to get my Ke55 stuts converted into coilovers today, and the guy at the suspension place sugested that use AE86 struts instead, he said that he can use better shocks into it and you get the added bonus of bigger brakes. Now that all sounds sweet to me, but i did not know that this was possible. he insures me that it all bolts up. Has any used this combo into a Ke55? And what if any problems did you have? Thanks

Hi Guys See two pictures attached, one is the solid lines from the fuel tank (Assume) and the other the fuel pump on a 4AC engine. I need to get the two of these linked, the pictures describe what I think each are, Am I correct? Cheers Mike

The throttle on my 4ac (ae82) is sticking. Its so bad it doesn't start sometimes until I pump the throttle enough that it frees up. There's quite a delay between me releasing the throttle and the revs dropping. Also when I clutch in to change gears it revs up about 300rpm before dropping again. Ive cleaned out and around the carby. Ive also lubed all the throttle components around the carb. The throttle return spring works fine and doesn't feel like there's any delay. I've got a weber and adapter plate I could put on but I'm not sure how hard it would be to hook up the accelerator cable, fuel line or what I'd do with the vac lines. Ive never used it in the months…

Hi guys could someione please help me, I'm having trouble with the idle on my 4k. currently it is stock except for full exhaust twin carbs and extractors. The trouble i am having is that the idle will never stay at 1 point it seems to stick when i rev and then will randomly drop down when it feels like it, usually very inconvenient times. first i thought it would have been in the throttle cable or linkages but its not, then someone said it would be the dizzy balance weights, so i fully stripped, cleaned, greased and rebuilt my dizzy, now the revs don't stick as frequently but everytime i turn the idle down, when it does its random drop to what i presume it should…

Warning! This might take a minute or 2 to load. (Thought I should put this in a new thread too) I got bored and did a 3D model to explain what words have great difficulty to express. This comes up so often it needs to be explained properly. Steering arms are meant to act on the same plane as the steering rack. The further you are from the plane of the steering rack, the more bump steer you get as the steering arm moves in and out as the strut compresses and rebounds because the pin for the tie rod is not perpendicular with the rack. Don't try and look at the whole thing, just watch the link pin for the tie rod end. Not 100% to scale, but it clearly …

G'day, I'm deciding on a brake upgrade for my new rolla, not bothered on the rears but for the front i want vented brakes. i have mx62 cressida front struts, unfortunately they have the wrong king pin angle, (axle is on a different angle) the same also goes for ra60 struts, but i have found a conversion that uses, mx62 callipers, ra60 rotors and hubs and xt130 struts seen bellow, This conversion uses a mixture of Toyota parts which are pretty easy to find at a wreckers. [edit] Parts required * XT130 strut legs (apparently RT132 work too) * RA60 hubs (though apparently again XT130 hubs work too) * RA60 disc * MX62 calip…

Just wondering if anyone is running a slightly larger profile set of cams in their 4AGE on a standard computer and can give me a no-bullshit take on how it drives? With everything there is always a tolerancebuilt into the std computer, but I'm used to GM products, and mostly carbies, not japanese ECUs and Fuel injection. Ive read just about anything and everything I could find on the net, but its hard to make a judgement without driving one yourself and seeing if it "works" with the STD computer. So enough of the dribble. Anyone running a 16v 4AGE with the STD computer and larger profile cams? Is it bearable for my missus to drive (she CAN drive, not like …

I have an Aisin clutch master cylinder from a late 70's model celica ill be using on my panelvan, it was already in the car when i got it but had been leaking at some stage so the firewall etc is a lil bit eaten around the clutch master. anyway I'm wanting to know of any places in melbourne that can re-seal/re-sleeve my clutch master. i found a place in the US that can supply me with a brand new one but with the aus $$ the way it is atm it wuld cost me $110 just in postage to get it here, so rebuilding the master seems to be the better option. any help would be great! cheers.

Hey guys, I got a 4ke injection off teddy on here. And i i would really like to get a workshop manual or something, so i can hook it all up or any information. It doesnt look that hard to me to hook it up. I got some pages from a big workshop manual, but i only took out the corolla stuff, it was from back in the day when i was a mechanic, because i thought it might come in handy, but i only took it all out because i had a ke55 for a paddock basher. Now I'm not sure, where i put it all, but i know it is amongst all my corolla and valiant stuff somewhere. But yeah, any information will be good thanks :lmao:

Hi guys, Torqued the head up on my 5k and slapped all the rocker gear in. OH OH valves hit pistons first go. Bugger. I pulled the rods out, they were about 156mm long, so I dug around a bit and found some 150.5 long items and they went in perfect. I'm guessing the longer ones are off an early K engine? (Kangaroosa, you might be looking for some longer rods I think they're the ones I got from you with the cam!) Anyway, the shorter rods gave me lifter preloads from 1.1-1.6mm as best I can measure. For you other 5K builders does this sound about right? I originally measured one at about 2mm but I redid it and got it about 1.6. The longer lengths are on the i…

G,day new to the rollaclub, Just a enquiry i recently came to the problem of wheel choices for my ke20 and having the older 110 pcd less wheels available. The 114 theres heaps of variety so the equiry is as i use an newer say ke55 for the front wheels just change the front discs. The issue with the rear drums? Do i get like a back axle off a 30 or 55 70 model and use that? woulod that work or be wider or is there simply an easy walkthrough or something? cheers Paul

i'm wondering if anyone can help me work out what struts i have in my corolla... i had assumed it was all sprinter running gear, but when i tried to fit up KE70 steering arms to my struts the locators miss by about 3mm (wider on my struts)... i've been assured that KE70/sprinter do bolt up, and have been led to believe that my car may be using RA40 celica struts instead of sprinter... the steering arms in my car are marked R8/L8 in the casting if that helps... any help in confirming or denying this info would be appreciated..

Hi, I am having trouble chasing a set of new flexible rubber hose for my KE15 sprinter and I was thinking KE20 brake lines might fit as there the same calipers so the rest of the hose should fit. But Just to see if it will better I am chasing the part number for KE2X brake lines for the front left and right lower hose and upper hose both parts of the flexible hose so caliper to strut strut to wheel arch where it then joins the solid line. Cheers Cameron

Hi all, I'm trying to sort out my brakes with bits I have at my disposal. I have an almost complete KE70 and hubs off a KE20. Can the KE70 calipers be used on the KE20 Discs/hubs on my KE10?? What other parts would be required?? I'm also looking at fitting the brake master out of the 70, any issues I'm likely to encounter? Thanks all. Ken
