finally decided to pull my finger out and get started on the daily ke70. my meantime plans for the ksev. 1. remove boot well (spare tire well) and have it all flat. 2. respray inside the boot. 3. install an alarm and central locking system. 4. install sound system 5. remove carpet (cause its F#@ked) and maybe remove the sound deadening and replace it with stone guard. 6. sand and bog ALL dings and prep body work. 7. prime all bog patches and prepare the whole body for primer, ill probably use acrylic body filler. 8. hopefully along the way through this grueling process can afford quad light conversion ch…

Hey guys, Just bought this corolla about 3 weeks ago. Its now my 6th KE30/55! This one is the best one i have owned bodywise. It has next to no visable rust =) I bought come 13x7 spitfires? they came off a mates datsun, then got them wrapped in some rubber. Hi Guys, I'm SatNav (or Tom), I am new to the corolla scene but enjoying every minute of it! Ive recently built a KE55 Rally Car, below are some photos of the build. (I have almost 100 so far) It's currently a stock 4k engine complete with webber carby and a 4spd k40 gearbox. The interior has a 6 point roll cage with double side intrusion bars, sparco sprint v race seats and 4 point harnesses. When I got the car it had rust in the usual spots(so I have been told) but not a great deal, so it was an easy fix and the paint job was the fun part! :) Please let me know if you have any suggestions ect.. as with any car there are always improvements to be mad…

I sold my old KE55 in search for one in a bit better condition. I found this one, out of the blue and strangely enough, same colour - almost same everything! Sitting on a backstreet in Stanhope Gardens in Sydney was this 1981 KE55 SE, I had nearly given up hope finding another one for a sensible price. I called the number on the sign and made an offer which was accepted pretty much on the spot. just recently i had injured my self at work and was at home bored as anything so i logged onto rollaclub and had a quick squizz through the for sale forum.. and there it was 500 bucks.. might as well.. pretty cheap. hey got this to transfer all of my parts off my white one into, just a stock 5spd 4kc with a reconed motor about 80***ks ago, owned by an old guy before i got it, well looked after, original radio still works! has a bit of rust in the back end, ie tyre well etc, so going to cut it out of the white one an weld into this one :).. so far it has 35mm extended lca's, short stroke shocks, smaller springs ;), & the enkei ap's. still to go in is the welded diff & exhaust, just waiting for this shitty weather to clear up then itll be in.. heres some pics.. latest pics have stodgies, as i got a flat on the rear on one of my buckled rims :( g…

Carb is junk though so I'm replacing it with a Weber 38 Outlaw that got for a good deal. Hey guys, I own a 1975 KE30 Corolla sedan. Its basically standard apart from wheels. Has some nasty rust in a few places aswell as a few dings around the place but its not too much trouble to fix considering I am a panel beater. I will be doing a conversion to a 2002 BEAMS 3SGE Blacktop with 2004 model 6 speed box(and a few other goodies). I am just waiting for the engine to be checked out by someone because I can't inspect for myself before I buy. Hoping in will be here in the next 3-4 weeks, if not sooner. Here is my KE25 race car, it competes in the improved production under 1600 class in nsw, I'm currently in the process of repowering it with a 20v engine. Previously it ran a Highly Modified 5K motor, consisting of 5k block and crank, 4age Pistons and rods, 3K Head, Stage 5 Camtech race Cam(3500-7500),Electronic Ignition, 4 into 1 Custom Extractors, Quad Throttle body injection on custom inlet manifild with haltech ECU. I've been meaning to put this up for months (since Australia Day) I had a BBQ at mine for Aus Day/JJJ hottest 100. Imagine; Snags, nice sunny day, 14m water slide and some cold drinks straight from a ke70 Rolla Esky! I started with a wreck I got for nix a few years back, cut it in half... I then Grabbed a diff from a ke30 and welded it directly to the Chassis rails, got rid of the bump stops, no need for them. Painted it in Australian colours (can job + 20mins = dodgey job) but on strict time schedule. Filled it out with 140mm thick Industrial insulation used in cool rooms, and a Stainless steel floor. G'day everyone, This is my new project. It's a 78 ke36 panel van. It's got a 3tgte under the hood, a celica 5 speed, and a spooled 9" diff in the rear. So far i have replaced the front suspension with KYB shocks and KING springs. I am replacing the front guards, bonnet and grille with new taiwanese items (unless anyone has any good secondhand stuff for sale ;) ). I'm also taking out the spool and converting back to LSD for street use and so I can get the thing registered. It will be wearing a fresh coat of bright red paint soon too. Hello everyone Ive been working on this for about 4 weeks now ive done everything and i mean everything my self as i live in the out back the closes town is 400kms away and then its just a tiny town called Yowah Opal fields (Queensland Austraila) . So, some of you may or may not know i bought the deep dish wheels off Phatke30 which were originally Littleredspirits wheels that were sold last year. Well....i bought them without rubber and it just so happened that my dad wasn't happy with the new tyres on his 1965 HD holden ute, so he said i could buy them off him when he sourced some bigger tyres. okay lads, seeing as ive got some spare time on my hands i thought i would post up my latest project. it is a track only te72 (t-18 for those of you playing at home). its stock as a rock, body is relatively tidy with only some minor rust around the hatch seal and a bit of bog they had fallen out of the front guard from a previous repair. never mind though as i have a spare pair of front guards and a heap of other spares that came with the car. guards will get flared anyway so thats not an issue. the 3t and box are in overrated condition and are from a S2 (a few years younger). my plans are to turbo the 3t as they are a very tough motor and respond well to…

1970 Ke20 Corolla I bought this corolla back in 2003 Stock standard, with no rust in it what so ever. Since ive done alot of work as you can tell, its had a new paint job in a toyota blue metalic paint, 15'' ssw polished alloy wheels, new interior (Seats getting done), has been upgraded to disk front end, has the stock 3k and 4 speed manual, still a work in progress. hey all. i been driving this around for a few months. just using it to get to and from work and the occasional bush thrash. its really become my ghetto fix car. when i got it only the headlights worked, nothing else, drivers seat was just foam and wire (mmm comfy), the drivers window didnt work, and the radio didnt work. ive got the lights working now and the window, ghetto sylezzz (pics of ghettoness later) and chucked another seat in. ive spent no money on it and don't really plan to. maybe a bunnings spray job. i need it to not get yellow stickered til mid next year so I'm trying to make it... presentable. anyway pics!

G'day everone! A friend and I have recently got our hands on a KE70, $350 and thought it was quite a steal! It needs a few things to make roadworthy (supposed new radiator hose and the rear diff is leaking) and it still has rego to Feb 09 :yes: What we're currently doing is sanding it all back and priming it ready for a new spray. Neither of us know much about the mechanical side of things and if any of you guys could give us a hand it would be greatly appreciated!!
