Hey, picked this little beauty up earlier in the week. It's a yellow, 1980, ke55 cs coupe, auto. Not too bad condition. Has some rust spots and dents. Interior is quite good apart from dash top, most things work. The heater works! The 4k runs well and goes alright considering it's auto. Plans are to clean it up, put it on historic rego and then later I will think about a manual conversion and other mods. But for now I'm just cruising around in it and doing a few repairs. I have got some touch up paint already and have done a few little repairs. I shaved the rear corolla badge, welded holes up and gave it some paint and also under the fuel cap I did a small rust repair. P…

Just picked up a new daily, got it off a German backpacker who was going back home, she picked it from QLD and drove it over. It's in pretty good nick body wise, very straight with no rust at all, not sure if thats rare for these things. The interior is a bit rough though, the center console is busted up and the auto T bar is broken. Runs good except for the whiney diff. I have already put some other wheels and tyres on there, the ones she had on had started to separate and were causing the worst vibration. Also put some new boat carpet in the back. Not too clued up about these things, but is the sedan diff the same as the panel van? i need to get it sussed out asap…

G-day everyone this is the first time I'm realy posting anything about my car it has come a long way since i bought it almost 16 months ago. it started as just a quick close door respray but after finding more rust than originally anticipated it is now just about a full on bare metal respray and hotting the thing up at the same time. hey names sam I'm 19 and live in Adelaide aways loved me kexx's and now I'm kinda over ke70s and i thought id buy a ke30, bought it off a mate for $150 drove it around for a few weeks untill i blew the diff and then realized the head is also cracked as well so now iv taken out the motor and gear box, was thinking of putting a sr or ca in it but i thought id be different and go a 5L out of a vn or a 350 chev or something and before you ask no this isnt going to be a street car purely a track car but it may go on a few cruises :P so far all iv done is take out the motor started sanding and flared the guards, will be updating weekly , thanks for looking!

Thought I'd start a thread for my ke20 that i picked up a week or two ago, she has one or two spots of surface rust that's about all, she is completely stock with the 3k engine but am looking at putting a 12a in it n make it a mad little sleepa.The interior that is in the car isnt in the best condition but i picked up 4 black door cards and a black back seat all in near new cond and will install this w/e. hope you like ... pics

So i finally got me a corolla after months of looking, picked this up a few weeks ago now. Hey all, so I've had this rusty snot box for about a month now. Bought it stock as a rock as a daily to replace a ST162 white lightning, cost $700 with 6 months rego just put on. Not much to say about it, its stock as a rock with as you probably read 642 000kms, not a typo, that works out its been around the world around 15 times haha. Diff is very noisy, the bushes in the rear are all but non existent so the back end feels like its alive and has a mind of its own, and tie rod ends on the front are shot. Good bits: Rust, (aside from what you can see in the rear quarters) there is very little rust, none around the windows/doors and very very little in the boot.…

New to the whole forum deal but i figured its time to go public with the keto. It's been in the build for a year now. A daily drive, a weekend warrior and a drift toy... The ideal car right? The whole idea behind this build is to be able to drive it to the track, race it and drive it home. Planning on fabricating some bracing throughout the body as she is a loose old girl. Hey blokes, this is my first old Corolla finally replacing the Classic Toyota hole left in my life after the Ta22 was stolen. It's a 2TGEU (yes EFI!!) 1976 Ke35 hardtop. Was owned by an older woman for the most part, rebuilt by her husband 10 years ago. It then went to some teen for a year and now it's here. So since my JZX100 is still waiting on panels from Japan I snapped up this KE70 thats registered until next year. 4K-C with Aircon 5 Speed Manual Rust in boot lip, corners and a bit around front window. Story time! This is my 1988 Toyota Corolla SR5 AE95 4WD. I went on the hunt for one of these in July 2021. Looked for about 6 months and only found 3 in that time. 2 were full of rust which I wasn't interested in taking on. This one popped up with a issue where it wouldn't go into gear. (manual) Owner wasn't sure if it was a gearbox or clutch issue. The car had a lot of work done by the previous owner so I decided to jump on it. Pretty much it was just covered in rust and had just two passenger side seats and cheap carpet glued all over the place to cover up the rust. Have had the 4AGE donor car for over a year now but have been searching for the perfect car to chuck all the good bits into! So here is the one I found. I am the 3rd owner, 157,xxxkms on the clock. Paint is near perfect apart from fade on the roof which will be being resprayed factory colour. Jacked it up to have a look underneath and found NO RUST! Hey guys, well i have been trawling these forums for a long time as they provide a valuable source of info about corolla's , I brought this car in May this year for $500 off a 60yr old lady who had owned it for the last 15yrs, it had the pink slip done (dodgey will get to it later) all it needed was a renewal and insurance cost me $800 all up. So i drove it around for a while (still on L's) and then one day i decided i'd take the wheels off it and clean them, while they were off i thought i'd check the disc pads and shoes. And what a fright i got, it was metal on metal on the front and there was 1mm of shoe left on the rears, and they passed it? dodgy bastards…

hey guys, really bored so I'm jsut chucking up new new ke, i got it for 600 bucks with 6 months rego, its manual, and has only the tiniest bit of rust in the rear wheel arches. so far all the only parts ive chucked in due to lack of effort, are excel g shocks and falcon springs in the rear. oh and a pair of what i think are ssr superfins, not too sure maybe someone can confirm? all i no is theyre sum random ghey offset. ive got big plans to turn it into a te71, jdm ftw lol.. so I'm after, chrome bumpers, quad headlights, and fender mirrors, if uve got any or all of these please pm me or jsut post in here ! thanks. piks..

I bought this for $1200 from a priest down south. It has hardly any rust, and if so. It's only surface. Tiny scrape on the back right panel which has started to rust but I shall be fixing soon.
