Hey Guys here's my KE20. Ive had it for about 5 months now after selling my yellow KE20. Its very clean and tidy and has no rust in her, being original paint that's a fair effort. It has been owned by a grandma for the past 37 years and has only traveled 45,000km all up so shes in great condition. Recently the poor 3K done a bearing so its been replaced with a 5K with a holden trimatic behind it. Although it will be switched out for a 5 speed in up and coming months. Drivetrain: 5K Completely Stock 3 Speed Trimatic Interior: Stock Cream White Dash Venetian Blind Suspension: King Springs Up front Flipped Rear Leaves Stereo: Dynaudio 3 Way…

New to this site, have purchased, finally found a descent ke20. Have always been on the hunt for the one. Found it 80,000 original k's everything on it priginal apart from the wheels. Am going to keep it standard, with a few possibilities. I have a 5 speed box to go in, and have put discs up front, and most likely lower it.

My little KE20 has a bit of a story with me. I swapped a VR Commodore for her back in mid 2010, and immediately fell in love with her, but she had a hard life before I got her. The bloke I got it from had spray painted it dark blue with the bonnet spray painted black, endless amounts of bog, and it had mis-matched stud patterns. My original plans were to spray her matte black and put on some spotties, along with the little mudflaps on chains I'd already put on, and make it a little rally spec daily kinda thing as I live on dirt roads. But after owning it for a bit, and bumping into a tree at some point and damaging the front passenger quarter, I lost interest, and sol…

Hi there, I'm Ben. People call me silly because I sold my yamaha R1 to get a KE20 2 door a fortnight ago. Lol. I have since brought a KE70 and 2 KE55 coupes (that I have now stripped). One of the KE55's my missus has claimed (the one in the backround of my photo), and I'm in the process of getting it registered. My mate bludger got me interested in these things. He has a yellow KE70 panel van. Little bit about my car: 4k 4 speed, locked diff, and the finest quailty super cheap export paint job lol. Looking forward to going on a cruise.

Just thought I'd start a thread here rather than updating in the KE20 members section. If you look in that thread you will see photo's of were I'm up to. Basically 1974 KE20 4age, T50 box, Lancer diff and painted in Blood orange 2pack. The bodyshell, door and boot jambs, engine bay and underside have all been painted. In the engine bay we tried to hide as much as possible, as I wanted the bay to be very smooth and clean. The driveline is all in and the car is at my mechanic getting wired up and a few other things done. I painted the bootlid last week, so it is ready to be fitted. Tonight I got the rear bumper bar and taillight surrounds painted. I painted them in silver. …

hi all, just pick up my new ke20. just sold the first one i had as it was a one owner car and wayyy to clean to cut up. here is the thing i love ke20's and love rotaries so I'm going to combined the two together to build my dream car. i have spoken to a number of people who engineer cars and they are happy to pass the car with a 12a turbo set up as long as the brakes/suspension and a few other safety requirements are met. i do want a street car but something that i can race as well. apart from free riding riding stand up jet skis professionally i really enjoy a good night at the drags. i will keep you all posted with pics threw out the build but here is t…

Hi, I just joined up and am looking for insiration to finish my ke20 as well as other people that have done simialr things. In breif, I am using a 4AGE bottem end(crank, rods, pistons) in a 5k block with holden V6 roller lifters, roller cam(obviously), 3k big port head(extensivly ported and modified combustion chamber), Hawk EC21 ECU and SC12 supercharger. I have gotten caught up with 355 holdens and need to get motivated to finish this project as the engine itself is ready to assemble. All I need to do is make up the brackets for the blower and finish the inlet manifold. I will post some pics up very soon. Cheers, Matt

The questions are, what is the best engine/transmission to use without too much hassle, preferably turbo. And secondly waht rear axle should i use, cos I'm already on my second diff, with a 5k engine in it!! Cheers for yr help, Vince

ive already got a members ride on here somewhere for my KE20 but i picked up a 25 a couple of weeks ago so ill put everything in one thread.... alright. The KE25 came to me through divine intervention..... it started on christmas day when my KE20 shit itself and left me stranded at home, alone, on chrissy day. my family is a 3 hour drive away so i decided to call around and do christmas with some mates. one of the mates happened to own a 4age powered KE25 and he had run up the back of a hilux a couple of weeks before christmas, we got talking on chrissy day and the way he described the car it was a write off so i offered him 1500 for the car so i could swap the engine…

Well since I've had the Ke25 for over 4 years now, it was about time I started working on it!! I wanted a Ke25 for a while - one of the guys I worked with at Meridian had a rather modified one. He left & went back to boat building. When I rang him up on the off chance he might want to sell it, he told me he had (just) sold it to someone else I knew, as spares for his race car. No point in pursuing it further so I started looking elsewhere. At the time I was building up Harvie's ke15 (http://www.rollaclub...-ke15-build-up/ One day just prior to Xmas (about 4 years ago ironically) I get a phone call from him. Conversation went something like this: Him - "Guess w…

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Just got back and what a weekend of racing, we lost a few races off the programme due to carnage on the mountain.... it bites big time when you get it wrong. Thankfully we had a incident free weekend and improved our times every session, found 12 secs from my first lap to my fastest lap and probably another 5-7 secs still to be found. Masters session The masters session is a there for first timers to Bathurst and is quite handy for learning lines, brake markers , flag points etc. We went behind a MX5 with a decent steerer behind the wheel and followed his lines. First impressions …

Hey all. Well my mate told me that his grandmother had an old corolla coupe, as i was searching for a nice daily corolla. So after a few weeks with him getting in contact with her in wollongong we arranged a day and time to go down (from Bathurst) and have a look (Friday). So we went down in my mates ute and went to look at the car. it wasnt as nice as it was made out to be but it was still really good. She was the owner of the car since new and it had always been looked after. It spent the first 27 years of its life outside of the garage as they had their "big car" (falcon) in the shed. But she sold that when her husband died so since then the corolla has been garage…

Hey Guys/Girls, new here so thought i'd introduce myself. My name is Mic, never really posted on here but am a regular on Toymods. Here is my new ride(a long story to go with it!) Well nearly 1.5 years ago, since I sold my Ke25 and since then been driving my R31 Silhouette. But something was missing. Just something about the R31 that wasn't there for me! Then i figured it out! I was missing the love of a Classic Corolla! So the search began November last year! One day while i was working at my old work, i saw a very nice Ke26 drive past me and go to the workshop up the street. So finally getting the courage to go talk to the mechanic who was working on it, i went…

Hi all, Just hopped on cos I've picked up a 25 and wanted to sus the for sale for some bits and thought I'd share my panno (now wagon) with its new paint scheme. The rest is the same as it used to be when it was all white, I've just drawn up a 70s inspired "race" theme paint job, rubbed her down, repaired some dents, and spent a day masking and painting and then cleared over the lot. Then I had the sign writing hand painted on too - hope youse like it. I love it.
