Well, I was trying to start cutting down on my cars. Hence getting rid of the sr20 ke36. But I've keeping my eyes open for a cheap ke20 ever since I got rid of my old one. Well just scored my self a white ke20 for a good price. Needs a little bit of work but so do most ke20's. Pick it up over the weekend. Will upload some pics when I pick it up.

Introducing Lexi (yeah I know, original, but I didn't choose it), Cara's first turbo car, and also her first car which is noticeably faster and better than mine :P. Looks like I'll have to tread the family car route in a few years then, maybe something like a Chaser for the practicality as well as the speed, can't let her out-do me can I? Anyway, I digress....... Specs: AS OF 09/08/13 1995 (build) JZZ30 Toyota Soarer GT-T (thought it was a GT-TL, but the build plate says otherwise) Engine-related 1JZ-GTE twin-turbo APEXi Power FC + hand-controller Front-mount Hybrid dual-core intercooler K&N pod BFI in sealed box, custom alloy intake pipe Lews split du…

Soooooooo here is the next rolla i'm sporting now, I don't really wanna say it but the shit box that has taken the pearls spot on the street :sob: . Anyhoo it is a slant front ke70 used to be red and has had a half decent respray (they actually sprayed it properly  )yesterday it was powered by a shitty gutless out of time, piece of crap 4k, and last night it coped the 5k outta the pearl. Which lead to my old girl throwing a BIG darky at me for it and started yelling and carrying on..... Bottom line is, the pearl will be a crushed heap in about 2 weeks and this rust filled keti will still be kicking :bash: . So specs are..... 1. 5k, 5speed 2. Open cent…

Hi all, I recently sold my 180sx to help fund my new project, a 5K Supercharged KE30! My dad and I will be doing this ourselves, well mainly my dad haha but i'm good for moral support :) We eventually found a 5k block with some gear still on it, and then found a 4k to "mix and match" the bits needed. I then bought a SC14 Supercharger from a Jap Import shop in Adelaide. We will hopefully be doing a manual conversion with some parts that we got from U-Pull-It, just waiting to find a gearbox.Anyway, Be sure to stay tuned in the near future for more updates! :D

Hey Guys thought id introduce myself. Names Julian and just got the keys to my first car, a 79 ke55 coupe. Love it to bits. Its manuel with 4k which lacks a bit of grunt, but besides that its an amazing car. besides a bit of hail damage, which is getting fixed, the car has done a genuine 60xxxkms from new and had one lady owner, so you no its clean. I don't want to do much cosmetically as its the classic shape that i love, however i have purchased some rad rims and some fender mirrors to put on at some stage. i would like to do an engine coversion at aome stage, probably 4agze at this stage, but for now its just fine heres a pic of my car. cheers guys :)

So i recently bought a 1977 corolla deluxe 2 door coupe for 900$ so far i havent got much done to it, besides getting drunking and smashing part of it with a bat. oops! Plans for now: Valve Cover Gasket New spark Plugs New spark Plug Wires Oil and filter change New Carb. New tail Lights/Headlight casings Body restoration. I currently don't have and plans for the engine, but thats because i don't really know what i should do to it! Everyone tells me to get a 4AGE or some other JDM import, but id rather just leave the KE30 in it, so any tips pointers and any other input on performencing the engine, please feel free to drop a line here!

hey all, well yesterday i purchased my first ke30! straight overrated body, fendor mirrors, overrated interior, 5k engine and 4spd box. few questions as i have never had a car with leaf springs. 1- how do i go about lowered the rear 1.5inches approx? 2- what front shock/spring setup can i use for the front? coilovers? 3- engine is a 5k, what carbie setup should i look at? 4- what gearbox should i look at for a 5speed? i don't really wanna change much as i wanna keep it as original (body and inside) as possible. gonna hit up some r31 chaser wheels with white walls for a clean old school look. cheers

My background is mostly nissan/datsun orientated but finally i desided to get something better...So i convinced a mate to sell me his KE70 (which he paid $100 for). Once i got the car me and my brother got stuck into it modding it.. - Welded the Diff - Modified the corona LCA's (lengthened 43mm) - Modified the Steering Arms (lengthened 40mm) - Modified the corona Knuckles :y: - Modified a universal seat rail to fit my Bride Zeta - Modified the airbox so it was an open filter - Modified the vacuum lines so the bare minimal were used - Put a set of Pacemaker extractors on - Put a 2 1/4" exhaust on - Modify a strut brace to fit the KE70 (was supposed to be for…

Here's the story My original car is 1977 corolla 4 speed manual Hasn't been on the road for a few years due to a prang The running gear and interior are overrated as well as the front panels. Month's ago I picked up a reasonably straight minimal rust 1980 2door rolla coupe manual ex paddock bomb, no starter motor, drive shaft, radiator and it's never been started since I've got it. My aim is to get the 2 door registered by sticking the running gear from the 77 into the coupe I would like to keep the spend of this build low, and work with what I got. Cheers DZach23

Hey guys, My names Wil, new to this forum, but i am on a few others like jdmst. This is my second car, a 93csi limited corolla, bulk stock and perfect condition when i got it. Its pretty fun to drive, but does lack a fair bit of power as its got a 4AFE lol. I've lightly modified it to suit my personal preference so if you don't like what of done thats understandable. I want to keep it to a clean, simple look. So i have done these things: -Lowered 2.5" (Reset springs) -SX Spoiler, black -2o% tints (Groundzero) -Custom Hurricane exhaust w/ 3" dumped tip (no current pics of tip) -16" rims -Clarion head deck -No name Sub -Cadence Monoblock -K&N Apoll…

I have had my Ke26 Wagon Stolen yesterday 13/12/10 between 8am and 5pm. Yes I know that it is not the neatest car, but it is my favorite car in the world. The memories that I have with this car go back to my when my daughter was a new born. Both of my kids are devestated, my wife is gutted (both agreed that we would of preferred out 03 ss stolen). The real kicker in the theaft was that I was to pick both of my kids up from day care this afternoon. I had 2 car seats in the car as well. Details: 1972 Ke 26 Toyota Corolla 4 door wagon Green Rego - GJZ - 157 (original plates that came with the car :( ) NSW rego Stolen between 8am and 5pm 4k 5 speed S…

Had a friend asking me about getting him a 4k for his ke70, I instead made an offer on the car and viola' I now own a rwd Rolla :) Its currently an auto with a 4k-c which overheated due to being leant to an overseas visitor (bloody victorians :P) and was driven with a leaky top radiator hose, got a wee bit hot and developed a big end noise :( My friend then thought it was a good idea to hold it in low gear until the bottom end exited the sump.... Cloth interior is in really good nick, 140'000 on the clock and only a tiny bit of surface rust on the rh corner under the tail light and the front bumper has been caught on something on the rh side whilst revers…

This was my mothers car bought for her brand new in 1969. Car is still in the family and has original 81,000 miles on clock. She drove the car until 1990 when it was passed on to me. The car is featured in many shows and the "Australian" news paper. This was the start of my collection. Rolou.

my 1992 MX83 Grande ebay special Bought the car off ebay with suspected cracked/warped head. turned out to be a warped head with a bent valve. The boyfriend and myself decided to fully rebuild the motor including new bearings, rings, welsh plugs, reconditioned head ($$$), spark plugs, timing belt, water pump, oil & fuel filter, thermostat and rad cap, custom intake piping with pod and fully detailed engine (hours of cleaning and painting). the car is in pretty impressive condition with few imperfections in the body with the main eye sore being the front bar. the steering wheel is pretty had it though with the top all chewed up and the drivers seat showing sign…

So this is my second AE86. I picked it up as a rolling shell which was in pretty good condition. Recently I bought a bunch of stuff from buddyparts including: Bare JDM 86 halfcut, JDM 86 front brake setup, JDM 86 T series setup with 2way LSD (Probably swapping it for a standard LSD), kouki dash cluster, jdm fueltank. Car is running and was wired up by the boys at buddyparts. Body work starts next year. The first thing we need to do is figure out what to do with the disgusting "dealer" fitted sunroof. It's only got a little bit of rust but the car does need a respray. Once body work is done I think we may have to go through regency to get it legal but I am confident it s…

So here is the recent addition to the stable. A 1986 AE82 Twincam that cost me $200. Basically saved it from the scrapper and the plan is to use it as a club car in events such as hillclimbs and motorkhanas. Car was cheap as it is unregistered and motor is in pieces as it was cooked by the previous owner. All the bits are there but in the boot and interior has been ripped apart as he took out his stereo. Definitely get stuck into it next year when I get back from holidays. Once I have it running i'll strip it out get club reg and see what it can do/how long it will last on the track! Here are some pics. P.S. everyone knows that red is faster :) …

This is my KE 15 Sprinter restored in 1999 started with a 5K 5 speed changed to a 7K in 2004 the car has been shown in 5 NRMA Motorfests on Australia day in Sydney the car has been driven to all of these eventa and in order to help with the economy the diff ratio has been changed to a 3.55-1 this resulted in the vehicle running at approx 3000 rpm at 110km per hour. This combination of the 7K and hi ratio diff makes the car a very usable vehicle.

Well I had some spare time on my hands today so I thought it was about time I made a rides thread... This is my 1978 ke30. I've had it for a bit over a year now but I only got around to getting it rego'd in September. She's powered by a stock 5k which is running a 4spd behind it. Has a 1.75(?) inch exhaust with two resonators(pretty much a straight pipe :D). Is sitting on 14inch Corona steelies with flipped rear springs and chopped fronts. Has Bilstein rear shockers lol. The front seats are out of a Nissan Pulsar which have been modified to fit with ke30 rails (alot more back support for when you hit a bump with the flipped springs LOL). Has a ke35 steering…

Hey, I bought this 2 door ke30 about a month ago for parts for my other one but when i got it home decided it was too good to strip so decided to give her a fresh coat of paint and use it as a daily. So far i've sanded all the black paint off, replaced the bonnet and bootlid(twice) and started straightening out the body, the passenger side rear quarter needed a fair bit of work, but i think i got it alright, and a bad dent just behind the drivers door, other than that it's just the usual small dents around the door handles/locks and the tops of the front quarters. It's running a warm 4k, with extractors and a 2" exhaust Suspension and brakes are stock but the front e…

picked up this beauty today with bAKER. 1982 ke70 panno. white. 4spd manual, 280,000kms on the clock. has only done about 800kms in the past year so everything is a bit stiff but she's slowly loosening up. will not have the chrome bars much longer. have sold them for nearly the cost of the car. plan is just to have it on club registration and have it ship shape for the vic members GOR run at the end of january. no tents for me! will have more detailed pics and information once i get a good look over it after new years. just wanted to spread the excitment now.
