K so my nan bought this T18 brand new in 1979. She died in 1992 and She gave it to my dad. My dad then gave it to my little brother, who basically rally'd it and trashed it. Then the alternator went on it and the battery kept going flat, so my brother just dumped it in the backyard and left it there. So i thought i would pull it out of the grass and start fixing it up. Rust is aplenty. Pics below. Plans:- Fix all rust and respray Mild 4age na. Brake upgrades disc rear. Stereo 17 inch rims. it will be like a daily driver with reasonable power. I wont be drifting it or anything. Kinda just like, respect for my grandma to fix it up since its been rotting awa…

One day I decided that I wanted a new Corolla in nice condition. So I picked up the Quokka and saw one for $1800. I knew as soon as I saw it that it was in good condition and came back the next weekend to test drive it. I told the guy that I wouldn't pay $1800 and he dropped straight to $1500 and threw in a CD player... Anyway, it's in great condition... the outside and inside are practically spotless except for a scratch to the left side and a tiny tear on one of the door's interior. There are areas that have rust but only a couple. More pictures: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 Mods: Interior: Original interior Dashmat Seat covers Boot release/(fuel re…

New to the site here, want to apologize for my first few posts, I guess they weren't very good. Anyways, my name is Luke and I'm 25 years old. I'm from Spokane Washington in the USA. I have a ke15 Corolla Sprinter that I acquired from my friends parents. My Friend passed away a little while ago and his parents thought that he would have wanted me to have the sprinter so they gave it to me. I am working on building this car the way he would have built it. I plan on doing a 4A-GE Blacktop engine swap with hopefully a W55 transmission, but I may have to deal with a T50 for a little while. I'm still in the process of deciding what rear end to put in it, but I may ju…

Just picked this up for a daily crapper while I rebuild my sedan. My 4th KE70 (first slant front) and my 15th corolla... $700, 4K, 5speed, Air con, apparently has a new heavy duty clutch. Its red :hmm: Done 338k kms, floats like a boat so new shockers will be on the cards. Motor is nice and quiet, no smoke and goes as a 4K should. Paint is pretty good, rust is easily fixed but needs doing before it rains, pics to come as it gets fixed... Interior is pale blue and not too bad mostly Towbar, 5 speed and a/c sealed the deal for me as that was what i wanted Plan is to clean it up over a few weeks then use it while my white sedan is put into retiremen…

Ok, the chaos begins, today I parked project Tofu (the new minter) in the backyard, in the next week or so I'll clear up the little bits I feel are needed........ Eg. Front left indicator not working and cracked: new bulb, replace casing/lense. Rear right indicator cracked (still working) will replace lense. Upgrade headlights for a giggle. Bit of a clean up, then daily duties until I finish gathering parts for conversion #1....... :y: Let it be known, this project will take time, it's on a very limited finacial input, but will get there....... Pics.

I now know why Jip has named his rollas!! :y: because he has so many he needs some better way of indentifying which is which to other people. I'm now starting to get that way as the "old car" and "new car" terms sorta won't cut it with another one! I think this one needs a name now! so if anybody has any suggestions, shoot!!? ;) I'm thinking maybe "Suzi", considering whats gunna happen to it. :y: Anyway, here she is..... Yes it it a little rough on the outside (rust wise), but I didn't really want a "good" shell for this project. Has a few spots that will be fixed befor reg (its un-registered) like wheel arches, front guards, rain gutters etc. This is…

|blink| Hi everyone, I've been on for a while now and thought I'd post some bits and pics on my AE82 hatch. Long over due for a pretty up the the little fella, seeing as I've had it for ten years now its about time I reckon. I started buy puting on some standard wheels for now (couple of years back) I also went to get it lowered but that didn't work out due to the lack of service from the joint I went through "Nah, if you put tower bars on this it'll lift a wheel" well that never happened. But just today I went out and layed down the cash for some K-Sport coil overs, all the bushers under neath, and the Whiteline Stouts swaybars (with kits, coz its a single cam shel…

In January 2007 I purchased my 3rd classic Celica, a CA18DET powered TA22 from Queensland, and had it thrown on a truck and delivered to SA. When I bought the car it had a full interior, fairly clean CA18DET installation, running a T28, 13x7" kidney mags, king springs and a god awful SAAS steering wheel. It made 150RWkW @8000RPM on 10PSi. Since then much has changed: (in no particular order) Engine Modifications Forged Pistons, balanced bottom end, metal head gasket and re-con'd head BlackStone Aluminium radiator (see mid 80's V6 Volvo sedan,) using Magna TM radiator hoses and Volvo header tank Late model Camery brake master cylinder 17x12x3" front mount in…

Specs are all very much one owner granny spec.. K motor, toyoglide 2 speed auto, 4 wheel drums, neat white/cream interior. Immediate projects: Get roadworthy from Peter Repair single tear in d…

Hey all. Gribble here from Sydney. Just thought id share some info on my little Rally Project I'm currently building. Its going to be a fairly straight forward KE70, 4k, 5 speed, totally stripped interior, bilstein shocks, adm ae86 brakes, cage, seats, harnesses etc etc. Nice and simple for a starter. So far ive gotten the shell totally stripped down, I have removed the sound deadening from the interior and 90% of the crap tar stuff from underneath. Ive begun to stitch the chassis seams together to gain some torsional rigidity. Next step is to do the seat mountings and the cage. PICS! Ok ive finally uploaded some pics of the build. Here goes..... This …

Hi, my name is Tones ;) I bought my rolly about 5yrs ago and vowed to rebuild it soon as i got a chance. I put a 4k in it extracters, made coilovers with ke30 struts, ajustable lower control arms, flared the guards and put some FAT FEET under it,ke30 diff cause i couldn't find a 25 one at the time. She went great for a while but eventualy the little 4k just couldn't handle the pace.BANG. :bash: I parked it in the car park outside my factory for 2 nights and some mongrel stole my bonnet and grill. :bash: It took 18mths to find a bonnet and ive yet to find a grill. If any one can help me on the grill it would be greatly appreciated. Well she is completly dismantled now. i m…

I haven't got much in the way of pictures at the moment, but they will follow. 67ROLLA My 3K powered KE10, as yet the only mod is a 2" exhaust that I just got today. Sounds friggin awsome!! Also I have pianted bright orange the rocker cover, air filter holder thingy and the fan. Now just need some new hoses, new battery box installed, tidy up the wiring, and that should be it for the engine bay. I am getting her painted in March, bright orange, with 2 x 2" white stripes off center on the drivers side. hey guys i recently brought about a month ago a white ke15 sprinter ke15 sprinter for a new project car. this thing was pretty much stock with a burnt out interior and that someone had jsut lowered. ive now just raised it up and just wondering how much one of these things is worth as I'm might be going an engine conversion. the only rust on it is a tiny hole in the firewall and i a hole in the top left guard the size of a pin hole. other than that its just surface which is getting fixed now. also in a couple of months once registered and its grown on me a bit more ill be putting a 4g63 engine which my mate is giving me for nothing with a turbo setup just becuase he wants …

Hi Everyone. I recently bought an '03 Corolla Sportivo. It's has the 2ZZ-GE engine, which is the same as the latest Celica uses. Also has the same 6 speed manual gear box. Has anyone else got a Corolla Sportivo and has made some modifications to the engine or whatever? Tell me what you guys think about the Sportivo's, and possibilites for mods. Because Teddy is too slack thought I would post up some pictures of his white KE70.. Before he got his licence it had a stock 4K in it and he had a very quick and dodgy respray done on it. He later on got some nice mag wheels for it and fitted a slightly worked 4K with 3K largeport head / cam / downdraft weber etc. Also fitted extractors and exhaust.. Then later on he picked up twin carbs for it and they went on. Over the years though the rust has begun to break though the paint so I have started patching bits here and there when he comes up to work on the blue car.. Some pictures of it in its former glory..

Hey all, Just joined cause I got given a CS 5speed corolla today. I think its a 1982 model, unsure though. Its a rear-wheel drive and is in ok nick. Has some major rust in the spare wheel pan though, and a bit from spilt fuel around the filler. not sure why I'm posting this here, but I thought it might make good descussion as what can be done to it, also needs new interior, and engine won't start (think its the battery, and lack of any motion lotion).. This is her in my driveway (the picture) :hmm:

Well i have gotten my hands on a SX hatch, which i am already in love with and have already throw some money at it. But i still feel the urge to go further. I don't want it to look like the car is a tai prossie and i want to keep it off the attention from our beloved police force. The car already has - 17" Rims - Been dropped and wheels tucked - 3.5" Stainless steel cannon Right now, it still turns heads and it is such a laugh to drive but i just want to custom it slightly. Any suggestions or advice are greatly welcomed. pics of the car is http://www.rollaclub.com/board/index.php?showtopic=17661

Hey guys, My names Jarrad, I'm new here and this is my first Corolla. I picked it up for $100 bucks, and its got a great condition, re-conned 4k in it. So I thought, what the heck. I have limited experience with shell repairs, so this will be an excellent learning curve for me. I can weld, but will leave that to my dad cause he's pro. So over the next few months, I hope you'll enjoy seeing my progress. http://s269.photobucket.com/albums/jj48/ja...20KE55%20Sedan/ - Thats my photobucket album with the pictures from when I bought the car. As I progress, I'll upload a few here for quick access, and leave the majoroty of them in the Photobucket album. C…

Hi guys i went to WSID tonight to see cuzzo race his Ke30 and i ran across this ke30 and blew my load all over his car when he opened the bonnet. I've always loved the idea of a crazy K series engine with injection and big turbo, but thought it was a little to pricey and wouldn't make enough power in the end as i want over 200kw atw out of what ever engine i used with out having to go to crazy. Anyways this car belongs to Steven from sydney, he did all the work him self as he is a fabricator its a 3k 1.2L which has been fully built and steve has created the custom plenum and injection himself aswell as all the other custom bits. I really like it as its very unique an…

It comes with the following. - 17'' Rims /low pro - 3.5" stainless steal exhaust - Dubbed and lowered - Pearl white spray The sound system needs some attention but the engine is in great order and has been given a clean bill of health and the go ahead to be dynoed. I'm checking how much power the car has lost over the years and I'm looking at getting it back

Hey all. Well my mate told me that his grandmother had an old corolla coupe, as i was searching for a nice daily corolla. So after a few weeks with him getting in contact with her in wollongong we arranged a day and time to go down (from Bathurst) and have a look (Friday). So we went down in my mates ute and went to look at the car. it wasnt as nice as it was made out to be but it was still really good. She was the owner of the car since new and it had always been looked after. It spent the first 27 years of its life outside of the garage as they had their "big car" (falcon) in the shed. But she sold that when her husband died so since then the corolla has been garage…

Hey. I bought this little Corolla two years ago when I first got my P's. It's done 352k+ k's but it's still going. I'm currently using it for pizza deliveries and it's treated me well, but I was thinking of changing a few things or even the car... It's a 4 speed as well so it's tends to be quite noisy when down shifting and around 80km/h. I was thinking of either getting it panelbeated and getting rid of the rust and painting it. I also wanted to put one of those 4A-GE engines in it as I've read around these forums a lot that they're pretty good. I thought for a while and realised that it might be cheaper to just sell it and look for the same model that's in bett…
