Hey guys, so in November I purchased this 1983 Ke70, purchase title "the Steezy Little Keto" Purchase Date: November 6, 2011. Location: Brisbane. Condition: Stripped, rusty, dented, just bad overall. I sold my old KE55 in search for one in a bit better condition. I found this one, out of the blue and strangely enough, same colour - almost same everything! Sitting on a backstreet in Stanhope Gardens in Sydney was this 1981 KE55 SE, I had nearly given up hope finding another one for a sensible price. Well pretty much bought my car back... long story short i smashed the front end (ran up the ass of some one). The front end had been fixed, extractors, a newer model corolla steering wheel... and a bride seat had been installed. When I bought it back it had been stripped and had no exhaust (only extractors) it had no rego either.. He also said he had just fixed the head gasket but that was not the case cause it was still ʞ©$ɟed so I fixed that, got it skimmed, also it didn't idle so took it to work and fixed that, I stripped the interior and sprayed it black, made it neater. hey guys finally got around to picking up this little gem from a old bloke the next town over for $300. had been sitting since 2008 when the rego ran out, so we rocked up this arvy with a jerry can and a battery......long story short few pumps on the pedal and SHE LIVVVESSSS!!! so down to the important stuff: 18R-C backed by a 4 speed manual, all original granny spec including untouched uncracked original dash with original radio and tape deck, all original chrome hub caps, phat ass grille :) few spots of rust here and there, but nothing unfixable. only have one pic at the moment guys :( will be taking some more tomorrow 4 sho. new pics added!!!

G'day all, this is my rt80 corona, picked it up for $428 off ebay 2 years ago, it had a 2r 1.5ltr auto, i ported the head and wacked some mikuni side drought bike carbs on it, and a 4spd, it went alright but the motor was getting tired, when i was getting it ready for reg and roady she was getting a bit of milk in the oil, so i chucked the spare cars 12r 1.6 in it the night before it went in for a roady, and left it stock, it goes as good as the 1.5, has a bit more torque, anyways here it is! Well, went out and bought another rocket today. We've sealed the deal, and picking it up from Ballarat on Tuesday. :) It's a 1986 MX73 Cressida with a 5M-GE (with Extractors :D ) and 4-speed Auto. Green in colour, has full electrics (including Sunroof), Velour interior, P/S, A/C, Power Windows and Mirrors, the works. This will be a little project to make it a daily for when I get my P's. Seeing as this forum seems to have the highest concentration of KE10s on the internet, I figure I should throw mine in for good measure! The story starts when I drag this KE10 from the bushes in my hometown, paying about $200 to get it to my house. My initial observations: The car has been hit in the front and back with a lot of flaking bondo as evidence. The entire interior is halfway converted to dirt. Not a single mechanical or electrical component is working or even looks serviceable. pretty much sold this car it got defected next day after almost a year without the rola spirit i had to get her back.... so yep starting off with the in side so what i have done so far is ripped the carpet out because it was covered in mold luckyly no rust in floor thank god :) i got a BUCKET seat and made rails fit and for the passanger i customised a s13 sr20de seat i had laing around it has nanna pattern on so thought it would suit :) i have started the body work and prepping for paint asap gonna get the girlfriend to give the engine bay a squirt of paint she is so keen lol. so yeah thats just about it for now ill keep you guys posted.

Hey, Alright i have finally come across a desicion of that i am going to put the map sensored 4agze that i have into my ke35. It has 122xxx kms and has upgraded cams and some other stuff. I have done the body work, just need to pull the 3k out and get the bay painted. • I have a couple of grand$$. • It gets done when, when its done. • I have access to welding and grinding/ fabrication. • I have access to automotive electrical. Anything else? I have searched alot of 4age's into the ke35/55 but if anyone has any hints or things to wathc out for? i would love to know it. :)

After a year of purchasing it for $1000 finally started working on the project. Basically it is a granny spec 1982 XX model Ke70 running a 4K with a filthy auto. Hi everyone, Bit of a noob intro, I'm matt from the Sunshine Coast and here is my spirit that i've had for about 6 months now. hey guys picked up my new rolla today after recently moving to NSW from SA. gone down a different track this time and got me a ae71. it has not a speck of rust on the whole car, not any where, paint is perfect too, shiny and white !!! interior perfect too, I'm the 2nd owner of the beast. has full service history and books, and done just over 200000km. csx model obviously with working aircon. only down side is clutch is pretty gone but with the motor coming out its not really a worry. so any way keep an eye out for this one .... got some big plans cheers matt

Hi guys. I found your forum from Google and joined immediately!! So, i bought this -69 KE15 from my friend, that had the car about 11 years in the garage. I sold it to him in year 2000, and he didn't had the time to build it. So i got my youth back and the car was in the same shape that when i sold it. Engine is a 3K bigport, maybe someone has changed the cam, at least it feels like it, lol. The body is original, i think. I can't find any weldseams!! Thought it about time I re did the old girl again. Last time was over 20 years ago. This time I'm going down a different path from last time. Previously it was a fully worked 3k and 4 speed that was a real lot of fun. Embarrassed a few V8 Torana's in its day. Now I want Reliability and simple auto driving. And also passing on to my son once on his P's Later this year. Also cleaning up the rust and fitting either a 4ac or 4AGE with a 3 speed auto. It's my turn for show and tell, so here goes... 1982 'flat front' KE70 Standard 4K engine, all gaskets and hoses replaced; mild cam; oil changed; brakes remachined and so on... Singin' like a biiiird. As stated, absolutely no rust on the thing anywhere. Bought it off a panel beater who straightened the body up and painted it this lovely blue (NQX blue to be specific). Immaculate job the guy's done, by far one of the car's greatest qualities. Some of you may remember me, I spent a lot of time here when i was in my mid-teens. It's been a couple of years since I've had a Corolla, but since then I've branched out into bigger and better things. In particular an RT72 Corona, which is being handed down to me by my dad's uncle.
