Just wondering what clutch you guys use? (drift, circuit, sprint or hillclimb) I'm looking to replace mine with something heavy duty and after market. Was thinking the 3puck copper clutch from exedy through t3 for 350 and it comes with aligning tool etc etc. Just swinging the spanner of options haha. Cheers! Jesse.

Hi all I've been on rollaclub for a while now but haven't posted a whole lot. I've got a 1983 ke70. At the moment it has the stock 13" rims on it, I however have a set of 13x5.5" mesh rims that I'm going to put on The stockies have 165/75/13 tyres while the mesh rims have 185/65/13 tyres on them which are bald as buggery. My question to you is, would it be possible to swap these tyres over and would they fit? Ie put the 165/75/13 tyres on the mesh rims Thanks for your help Ben

I have a little issue with a Haltech. The problem is the ecu is seeing a rpm signal that is inconstant, sometimes it flicks to 16,000 rpm at idle and engine is running like a bag of shit and won't pull pass 3-4000rpm. We have been through all the possible signal inputs, including replacing the dizzy, to the ignition module. The engine use to run fine, but everything has been changed over to a new car, including a the ecu harness. Any help would be great.

So I believe the diff in my KE36 pano is about to crap itself - its constantly clunking. Anyway just wanting to know what options I have for a replacement. Are the wagon/panel van diffs any different from the sedans? what will bolt in without too much hassle? would a ke55 or ke70 diff bolt in? Thanks for any help, I am a super newbie when it comes to Corolla's.

hi guys, I'm about to start wiring up my engine with stand alone ecu, the ecu i got only came with small amount of loom to work with and i don't want to spend the 330 dollars to get a new full length loom now i obviously need quite a few different wires, so the average 8 solid colours that you get from the local auto store wont be enough any one know where i can buy wires with the second tracer stripe, ie yellow with blue stripe, black with white stripe and so on? paul

Ive checked: 1) All lines and that they are connected correctly 2) Prime the fuel line of any air 3) check pump if it is actually even working (which it is). 4) Spark plug wise the car did not have any issues with it before i installed the jdm tank So what could it be? Can you please help me find the root of the problem. Muchly appreciated, Dave

Ive been racking my brain on how id go about fitting and undercar surge tank in my ke30. I vaguely remember seeing build threads hear on rollaclub where guys had custom ones made up but after searching, I can't seem to find em. From memory they where kinda rectangular shaped that hugged the tire well but I can't honestly remember. If anyone owns or knows of these cars, could you give us a link to the build threads or any other info (based on personal experience) would be appreciated. I really don't want to put a surge tank in the boot.

I was driving home tonight and as i was driving home i pulled into maccas to get something to eat. Everything seemed fine but as i was waiting for my food in the drive through all my lights started to flicker ( like dim then go back to full power, dim then full power, etc)... I go to take off the car felt sluggish then started backfiring through the carbs really badly... I pulled over turned the car off checked everything and it all seemed fine then i took off my air filters and started it.. It cranked really slowly then the cranking sped up till it started.. I thought it was the altenator but then i remember that my car did another thing which was really weird today, whe…

I was having a look around as to what i can do for the brakes on the ke10. Now at this stage i'm looking at t18 struts and brakes and maybe a ta22 diff and drums. Due to limited room in the ke10 i can't see a way to run a booster but people have suggested a pajero master cylinder will be good enough. Can anyone confirm if this'll be true? It'll have a 3tc with about 110rwkw. Any other suggestions would be lush. Cheers

Hi Can anyone give, or direct me to, the correct Australian tune-up settings for a 4A-C engine. I was given an August 1986 AE82 1587cc. It would benefit from a tune. I've looked online and can find US and Cailfornian specs only. They may different to Oz. I would like to know, best plugs, plug gap, ignition timing, (idle speed to set timimg if not around 750rpm). Also another basic question, are the valves hardened and able to run on Unleaded only? Ta, Brett

Hey, I have the option to either buy a original 3k-b twin carby set up or just the manifold. Obviously the manifold is cheaper but I am just wondering what i need to do to build up the twin system? Cheers Tom

hi all, this is a pretty basic one, just upgraded the diff in my ke70 and was wondering how the best way to bleed the brakes would be, the brake lines hooked up at the back on the diff but no fluid in them, so should I pump the pedal a tonne of times and try to get fluid into the line on the diff or should I just do the usual routine of pump pedal, loosen , pump pedal, will that eventually get fluid to the back. Also going to change the brake master while I'm bleeding brakes, A mate that doesn't really know ke70's said that there will probably be like 4 or 5 places (other than at wheels) in the brake system that I will have to bleed, sounds a little strange to me? …

Hi, I have recently picked up a set of twin solex 40s for the ke20 which are in good condition although quite dirty and grimey. My question is, how to clean them up and what products/tools etc to use to get them looking something like this? As they will be mounted on a cermaic coated manifold with ceramic coated extractors, alot of polishing and braid line about. Thanks in advance.

Hey guys, Problem. I leant my KE26 to my mum for the night, she drove it not too far at all. She experienced a problem. I came and drove it back home. From start off i can get into first gear then second then third etc (K50). However in between the gears I experience a major crunching of something, it feels like some gears aren't connecting and feels as if i'm dragging about a tonne of metal along the ground. And when i'm in 4th if i drop below a certain rev limit it starts again. It's fine above a certain speed or rpm then it clunks and jumps around like all hell. :bash: :bash: :bash: As it was dark and was in a car park i couldn't see much, it looked as if dr…

Hey guys got a bit of a wires issue with my Panel. The 3k takes a long time to build any oil pressure on start up. I'm talking like 5-10 seconds which seems far far too long. Once it's built the pressure it seems fine. I've got around it right now by putting a switch onto the coil that allows me to turn over the car without ignition, but it takes seriously 20-30 seconds of cranking to get the oil light to turn out! Anyone had this before? Oil pump is in the sump right? Which means engine out to replace?

Hi all I have looked for answers to this type of question, but any links welcome. I have just got a KE30 2 door and the steering is very heavy off centre. Everything is std and original (good condition). What can I do to improve the steering feel? Is this common? I am looking for something that will inspire confidence. Please note I will get a wheel alignment, but I suspect this isn't the issue as it tracks straight, doesn't wobble, has good tyres, etc. Thanks for looking and helping. Micksute

Well.. I'm getting back into working on the car after some 'laziness' on my behalf. The car is a KE17 with a 5K and a 5speed.. and now for the questions... - The front setup... I have a whiteline swaybar that I need to put in but the question is should I be doing the KE20 springs (cut) without the front leaf or just putting the sway bar in and getting the leaf re-set.. How stiff are the KE20 springs? I have read about it but don't want to wreck the ride comfort. With that said i do want to lower the front at least 2 inches. - Diff.. now that it has a 5k and 5 speed.. first gear seems like its from a truck lol .. great accel but wouldnt mind a diffe…

Hey, I have come to the realisation that, finding stock dual carby set up from the kexx sprinter models is going to be a tough ask. So I'm wondering if I could set up single carbys and set them up on a custom manifold? Has this been done before? If so is there any places in adelaide that would be able to help me out? Cheers Tom
