Hello rollaclub I have a question about my 4age 16v conversion. Will a standard KE70 rear axle be enough to handle the abuse of a stock 4age 16v with minor mods? Or do i have to search for a ae86 rear axle? Because in my country they are really rare and super expensive. I'm not planning to use my car for drifting or racing. It will be just a street car. My rear main seal went in my ke35 coupe for the first time since ive owned it, plan on replacing it asap as of course my daily has died as well just wondering what it would be worth replacing at the same time to avoid future maintainance? Clutch etc? Cheers in advance

Hi guys, I have just bought an 83' KE70 Corolla, I am planning to make a sleeper out of it, after reading a lot of forums on the mods for the suspension, diff, breaks and engines, I've decided to built one on the SR20DET engine from S13. :) I just wanna confirm with u all here the parts needed for all the upgrades. hey guys,it's me again,i have a 2K engine in my pickup-KP36,and i really need some help :/ .First of all i m looking for an intake manifold to buy,from europe,only for 2K engines,and about 50-85 euros.Second,i have to know if it worths all my tries until now about putting my cbr 600 carb.I didn't do any mods on the engine inside,i just run on a little more psi fuel pressure from my cbr 600 fuel pressure regulator.Any help will be acceptable,and please tell me how to write my topics on rolla club page only,as i am new here.

Hi Guys n Gals Just got my L's 5 months ago and i decided to buy a ke70 wagon, came with a ca18det witch i can't but in while on my p's because i think it out puts 280kw or something the guy said (probs pulling my leg) But I;m going to take that out and put a p plate legal engine in. I'm not sure what engine I'm aloud to put in it if i can put a 4age or do i have to stay with the factory engine it came with witch was a 4k-c I see that NSW p plate laws have that i can't drive Power to tare mass ratios of greater than 130kW per tonne or, Modified engines that need to be approved by an engineer or, Other vehicles classified…

hey i want to buy a 1984 corolla "panelvan". its tidy as hell and just want to know if its worth getting :/ its got 200,000 ks 1.6l motor??? ( 5k or sumthin)???? the wheels, hopefully get black superlites with it ;) and some stereo gear which is kinda much ofmuchness. aaaaaaaaaand obviously has the appeal of being a "shaggin" wagon sooooo its $3,500 worth the coin or not??? hey guys, sorry in advance because I'm sure this gets asked 24-7. i recently purchased a full set of DGR ae86 coilovers, camber tops on front, 30point dampening etc. i bought these knowing that i would have to change my steering arms/lca's/brakes etc to ae86, but i can't find any of these parts. is there any way around doing this? can i weld these directly onto my ke70 spindle's and have a good result? keep in mind the fronts are weld on's, and the rears bolted in perfect so no issues in that area. hi all i have been loitering around the internet and notice that there is a lot of people putting bike carbs on their 4k. i think they use a modified twin carb manifold. if i was to use a set of cbr900 carbs what would i have to do to install it correctly? is it ok to just mount the carbs or do you need the bikes fuel pump as well? any helpful advice would be greatly appreciated :)

Hi i brought my grandmas 84 KE70 S model, it has stock 4K engine. runs smooth no problems until you get to a hill. The car will loose all power and stall out. even on a small slop you have to drop it back to 2nd and wont go any faster than 40. Could it just be the fuel pump or is it something big?

hey everyone, so I've installed a new tacho instruments cluster into my ke70, it had the good'old quartz clock cluster, and everything works, but the fuel gauge, I don't remember if the old one worked (still have in just encase there is part failure), but I've taken out the rear tail-lights cause I'm doing rust repair, and I noticed that the fuel gauge wasn't moving and staying in the off position, when the car is running, all the other things in the cluster work cause Toyota just used a standard wiring loom for all KE70's. so the question is, does the fuel gauge wire run though the tail-lights wiring? not 100% sure. and I can't find a wiring diagram that says anyth…

Hi All As a proud new KE70 owner I have some work to do ready for an MOT (Fresh Import) - It came from Thailiand and has some yellow film on the front window which is an MOT failure in the UK, any suggestions for removing it it sems to peel of - in small pieces

So my KE70 will need to go in for MOT to get its documents. Having read around it seems like the lights are awful - some bulb need replacing. I tried to find more information - ideally I'd love to go to LED (even angel eyes) but I don't know if that's possible so maybe at least halogen, having done some searches on here I am confused as to .... A) where/what bulbs to buy for the rears lights and indicators B) What are my options for front light replacements/bulbs

Hi I’ve been looking around everywhere for some sort of answer to a question but can’t find anything. I’m looking to weld my ae71’s diff but can’t find anything hinting towards the strength of the axles or anything related. Surely the car is light enough that just driving around won’t snap axles?

Finally was able to mock up my Weber After installing Weber and trying to use the universal linkage was not the best for the barrel type accelerator cable so had to call up Recarb and get there throttle linkage they do for the 4K engine safe to say its working, cranked the car for a second heard how loud the headers alone were chose not to start and idle the car as it was late so will try this afternoon.

i have a rear window louver for my ke, it has all the plastic bolts but not the actual adhesive pads to stick to the window for the louver to clip onto :( Does anyone know where i can get these from???? thankyou

I'm selling my Toyota Corolla Ke70. It is a rolling shell as the motor does start but there is a bad rattle when it's running and the car doesn't really drive without cutting out. Not sure what brand the rims are but they look pretty good.

Hi, this may seem a silly questions, but I can seem to find the right people to contact. I own registered Toyota Publica but I also have Toyota Corolla KE13 I'm trying to get registered on Vintage Rego. At the moment I'm looking at the VAAWA, but would really rather go with a Toyota/Corolla club.
