Need ID on these rims:

hi people, my wife has a 89 corolla hatch, ive just rebuilt the motor to find the stock carby has no idle or mixture adjustment, I want to put a holley or down draft webber on it, is there any intake manifolds available for the holley. I'm a ford/holden man an have no idea whats available for these 4afc/4age engines. thankyou for any input would be much appreciated by myself an the wife, cheers

What will I have to change to put my 4age into my ke70 witch has a 4k with. A 5speed?

What causes this to happen? is it fixable?

hey guys, sorry in advance because I'm sure this gets asked 24-7. i recently purchased a full set of DGR ae86 coilovers, camber tops on front, 30point dampening etc. i bought these knowing that i would have to change my steering arms/lca's/brakes etc to ae86, but i can't find any of these parts. is there any way around doing this? can i weld these directly onto my ke70 spindle's and have a good result? keep in mind the fronts are weld on's, and the rears bolted in perfect so no issues in that area. hi guys i have a ke70 that has a 4k in it, it is running a 3k carby. the problem is when the car starts cold it is fine, but upon warming up it stalls on idle and at traffic lights and such, i am kind of a noob when it comes to carbies and have been searching for a solution. any help is greatly appreciated :y:

I'm trying to work out if i can fit a flat front conversion into the back of my car for a short 40 min trip? anyone had experience with this? thanks in advance jack

Hey all, I very recently acquired a 5k motor and I plan to fit it to my Ke70, I know how to do the engine swap so no questions there Since Currently the 4k in my ke70 is worked (2x 40 DCOE webers, Tighe 104 cam, 2' inch exhaust, 40 thou overbore for ACL pistons, All rotating components have been balanced, lightend flywheel, MSD 6a ignition system w/Blaster 2 coil...etc.) I've had my hand on working 4k's...But I've honestly done a 5k before so in the interest of learning etc. I'd like to know this What mods/specs have people built their 5k's (must be n/a, no forced induction) to, What kind of power output am I looking at (Streetable... like the 4k above)..…

Howdy Rollaclub/KE70.com, I'm looking at engine options for my panelvan and was just wondering what advice or experiences some of you guys might have to add. At the moment the panelvan has a 4K 5speed in it with extractors 2'' exhaust and a webber carb. I have a few schools of thought as to what to do with it. option 1- Work the 4K a bit harder... cam, head work and maybe forced induction. Option 2- source a 5K. cam, carb, exhaust and thinking about supercharging it. (not sure on pitfalls/difficulties and tuning) Option 3- 4AGE with basic mods, the only thing that turns me off this idea is the amount of work to get the car legal in SA and the cost of the …

i have a rear window louver for my ke, it has all the plastic bolts but not the actual adhesive pads to stick to the window for the louver to clip onto :( Does anyone know where i can get these from???? thankyou

I have a 1983 KE70 slant corolla and I want to put a 32/36 weber on it. Looking at the original carby there are quite a few vacumn hoses on this carbby, and only 2 on the weber. Can anyone help with what they are all for and how I go about fitting the new carb.

Hey Guys, I am 14 and have a KE70 Corolla that i am currently turning into a khanacross car (with my brothers help) I don't know much about cars although this Corolla will be a good learning curve for my mechanical knowledge and also my driving skills and car control. Hello, I've got a 1978 Corolla Liftback that needs a windshield. I've had bad luck in searching for one; old Corollas are a rare sight where I live (New Hampshire, USA). Does anybody know a good resource for windshields? Here's a picture! Thanks, Adam

hey i want to buy a 1984 corolla "panelvan". its tidy as hell and just want to know if its worth getting :/ its got 200,000 ks 1.6l motor??? ( 5k or sumthin)???? the wheels, hopefully get black superlites with it ;) and some stereo gear which is kinda much ofmuchness. aaaaaaaaaand obviously has the appeal of being a "shaggin" wagon sooooo its $3,500 worth the coin or not??? hello. 1984 ke70 1.3ltr 275000km . fuel pump leaks petrol from weap hole at base of unit when engin is running , can anyone tell me what the cause might be . thanks regards john .

You may or may not be aware I have been handed the task of improving/modding the sub section of RC that is KE70.com. If you have any ideas as to how improve this section feel free to discuss them here. If you would like to move your *E7* rides thread to this section please PM me. There are a lot of sites out there mostly dedicated to the AE86 with the humble *E7* tagging along for the ride. And lets face it, even though they share many similarities they are a different car. Lets consolidate the awesomeness that is the *E7* into one spot. Chur!

Finally was able to mock up my Weber After installing Weber and trying to use the universal linkage was not the best for the barrel type accelerator cable so had to call up Recarb and get there throttle linkage they do for the 4K engine safe to say its working, cranked the car for a second heard how loud the headers alone were chose not to start and idle the car as it was late so will try this afternoon.

hi looking at putting some new wheels on my car been looking at some on rota (taged a pic) what i want to know is if i get some of thees wheels at 15 by 7 on the front and 15 by 8 on the rear with a 0 offset on both and a 50 sires Tyre with the side wall with some stretch under the car plus I'm happy to lip the grads but i do want them to be under the grad at the end of the day i am also going to lower it a bit but i want to get the wheels on the car first so that i know how far i want to drop it thanks

Hey guys. Have recently put in another engine and running into a few issues It starts but begins to play up and stalls. Only runs with choke on and ends up dying still within like a min . Could this be something to do with a blocked jet, timing, bad fuel, dirty fuel filter or air fuel mixture ?? Second issue I have is that my radio and clock are running as soon as you put the negative cable on the battery. Have checked the earths in the engine bay but they are bolted in. 81 te72. 3tc. Idles great, timing is perfect. Has a no name ebay header, bone stock otherwise. Stumbles or missfires all over the place. Replaced stock smoggy carb with one off of a 85 4ac. As far as i can tell its the exact same carb (other than the fuel line was different, being fwd. Swapped it to mine). Yes its a non rebuilt junkyard carb. Anyhoo, runs ABSOLUTELY no different. So its either the same exact level of crappy as my old one, or theres other issues. Checked for vacuum leaks with starter fluid and found none. Wondering if its the coil/modulator thing? Ive heard they are somewhat problematic. If y'all think thats it, then the next question is thus: the junkya…

hi i have done lots of research on what motor to put in my ke70 I'm looking for something that will go onto the trans i have and fit on the engine blocks that are in the car from its original 4k that i have don't want to go super fast just something like a 2L or 1.8L with electronic intake not a carb just looking to here some ideas from you guys and what you would do

Hi team, Currently in the process of rebuilding a wee kp for summertime skids & coffee cruising. Bought the kp and have come to realise it’s got a dished piston bottom end and what I believe to be a 5k head and have confirm this with the previous owner but it’s all “apparently”. The head has got the two knobs under each spark tube at both ends. Anyway, I’ve turfed the facto radiator and electric fan and have gone for the Fenix ke70 ally rad/fan shroud kit for maximum coolage when abusing it over the takaka hill. Question being, are the entire top & bottom thermostat housings compatible across the range of 2k-5k heads? …

Hi all , I’ve recently bought an old KE70 wagon that I’m wanting to restore, I’ve noticed under the bonnet there’s a sticker saying that the car can contain asbestos, I know that older cars has asbestos in the brake pads, clutches and some seals, I’m just wondering what else contains asbestos in the car? Does the interior insulation or car underbody coating contain asbestos? any help or information would be appreciated Shane
