Well ive been searching long and hard for a decent 2 door ke30 and i finally found one which i purchased off ebay today. Its a 1974 model been resprayed blue. Apparently an apprentice spraypainter owned the car before this bloke and this was the first car he'd sprayed. So the paint is average but will definately come up shiny with a light polish. I basically was looking for one that was pretty dint free and minimal to no rust or previous damage in the rear and doors as the front half of the panels are easier to find than the back. Hey all, After deciding to get stuck into rebuilding Sherridan, the KE20, I went looking for an engine to freshen up. I found a 4K from a liteace in the Quokka and went to have a look... turns out the guy selling had a 1989 T-18 for sale too... seeing as my budget was fairly limited, i didn't bother asking the price he was after. Hey everyone, i'm new to this forum so i'm sorry if this topic has been discussed before I was just recently given a 1976 Corolla that I believe may be a TE31 because of the VIN number, my guess is that it's the TE31? correct me if i'm wrong, because i'd really like to know. Anyways, there's absolutely nothing in the car, it's really just a rolling chassis. I have been working on my Peanut for the past few months bit by bits and so far I'm %75 done. My car came with an extra rebuilt 3K motor when I purchased the car. I was going to put 4AGE in it, but decided at the meantime since money right now is pretty tight the rebuilt 3K would sufice fro now. The car came with a K40 4speed tranny, but I was lucky enough to get a K50 5speed tranny from a Starlet at a local salvage yard. The K50 bolts right in with no modifications needed. I am also putting in a dual Mikuni 40s sidedraft setup with my stock motor. I also have a K series header, but I am having clearance issues because of the steering box on the way. Hey all, introduce my new ride. Sure every1 knows it as Benzo's KE20 Only got 1 pic atm, and a lack of license as ive been disqualified. In the process of fighting for it back tho! Hey all, picked up my new car today. Its a Corolla KE30 2 door. bought it for a little price, but worth it. bought off a member here, thanks nick :D :) bought as a rolling shell, so no motor, box, tailshaft radiator ect, and no interior, well there is a Crack free dash, and some door trims lol. Has NO rust, ive had a look meself, and the only rust is surface rust where paint has been chiped, or faded a bit. Few nice bits would be, i like the paint scheme, looks smick. Went to the local council abandoned vehicle auctions the other day. It was raining fairly hard, and the auction itself is held outdoors, so only myself and two other people bothered to show up. (and they were more interested in an old tractor) Bonnet latch was stuck... council guys didn't even bother to pop it. Oh if they had.... Its a GA70 (import) converted to a twin turbo 1JZ... and manual. Nice set of 18's too. The bidding was intense... but I managed to buy it.... For $50. The opening bid. Got me a poo-brown AE71. Story goes my mate Jonezee bought this off a Granny, got it defected, got lazy and sold it to me for $500 all canaried. Took a weeks worth of bringing it up to regency spec and it passed first shot, HYPED! All outta rego, I took it home, put it on jack stands and spent some money on it... After Selling my orange KE55 (stupid stupid me) i had been wanting to get myself anouther rolla for a bit of a project car. Mostly i wanted one so that i could have a go of building a tuff cammed motor by myself. About a week ago, I saw that KE25 KID was selling his KE25 (complete with bent axle and buckled rim), so I snapped it up on the proviso that I could get the car running as it wasnt running at all. well for my birthday last year my dad got me a 1971 ke20 here are some pics of my first two stages of fixing it up i am 16 and hve done it all myself so far with a tad of help from my dad. the boot on it is screwed and all out of shape on the left when it was brought it has been reversed into a pole or something and had a huge dent in it. my dad got most of it out but its stil out of shape. does anyone know where i could maybe get a new one from.. preferably cheap. hay all I'm new to this forum, i just baught a white 86 Corlla2 corsa gp turbo EL31 it was another member of this forum, so far i have done sump seal, dizzy o ring all suspention bush's degerse every thing turbo oil return was split, rear seat belts, speedo cable was snaped and took the gears in the speedo with it, new mags and alot more here are some pics. p.s does any one have any spare interior parts for this modle?
