Hello, I've been lurking here for some time now and I thought to share my project with you. It's a 1974 Ke20 which I bought about five years ago in a very bad shape. Thinking afterwards I would've saved very much time by getting a better body to start with. So for the next five months I spent all my time in the garage welding that rusty little car. Got a little hurry when summer came and I had to get it back on road so I painted it matt black with spray and drove happily for the summer. At this time it had a 4K motor with some Webers. Hi I'm new to this site so i thought i would put abit up about my 77 rolla wagon I'm currently doing. I've put a worked 253 holden v8 in with a shortened 336 commodore diff and commodore struts with kinga discs and running 18x8 custom wheels. So far it has been a pretty easy build I'm just at the stage of body work so it can get painted. The car is being sprayed the color the engine bay is.

my 1992 MX83 Grande ebay special Bought the car off ebay with suspected cracked/warped head. turned out to be a warped head with a bent valve. after dickin around with a vl turbo that i was gona use to tow my ca18 ae71 for the past few months iv decided its not worth it anymore and bought myself this new beast... gold ke70 sedan stock as a rock 4k auto with overrated interior. the paint isnt to bad and it has NO rust in guards but had rust in the bonnet and behind the rear wheels and along the body below the boot. this is how i bought it... so i figured seeing as the ca18 rolla wont be seeing the track til next year id rip out the suspension and fit it to the ke along with the wheels which JUST fit on the rear with a light guard roll... this weekend I'm fixing all the rust and then il get a roadwort…

Well I know I said to myself and everyone else I wouldn't touch this one but how can you not???? It's begging for the Craig touch. Big front brakes, bigger drums and a 5speed at least. I'v done a little bit of research today. R31 struts should almost be a bolt in affair. (Haha. Bolt in. Who am I kidding??) The bolt spacing for the steering arm is 80mm just like the ke20 and the strut height is only 20mm longer than a ke20. Probably end up with a little bit of increased track. Hey everyone, I've been working on my ke55 for a few months and this is what I've come up with.... It's got a Garrett t25, I ported the head, done a full rebuild, front mount + stainless pipes, full stainless 2.5" mandrel bent exhaust, electric ignition got a few other bits and pieces. I just have to do fuel pump, surge tank, regulator and hook the gas up and she will be ready for dyno. Here are some pics let me know what you think.

Update, This car has Plans now :bash: I will be superchargeing a 4k and puting it into this car I have never dealt with forced induction before so alot i have been doing alot of research on the matter I have started collecting bits and pieces so far i have 32/36 weber rescently rebuilt sc12 supercharger AFAIK in good nick Bosch high pressure fuel pump 4k AC Mount Soon getting a fairly fresh 4k to use as the base motor. Heres some basic specs of the car. - 1990 Seca SX - red paint that is showing its age - standard smallport 4AGE that is slowly on the way out - 16" hyperfang wheels, soon to be replaced by a set of simmons wheels - cat back exhaust that was there when i bought the car. First of all i know nothing about corollas, i bought one on the weekend and its the first one ive ever own. I'm here to learn as much as i can about the car and how to make it go faster without spending a shitload of money. And here we go, My first car was a KE55 coupe and I've alway's like the shape of them. It took me about a year to find a decent one for a resonable price and here she is the body is near perfect, the young lady i bought it off of had a small accident damaging the left fender. The steering is a bit sloppy not too sure if the crash caused it, or old age. hi every body really happy i have finally found the car i am going to use as a bit of a project and mabey a daily for a while its a ke55 1980 with a 4k and really good interior the out side is a little rough but nothing to drastic all up it cost me $1000 but with 11 months rego and a few spares so i am happy will post some pics up tomorow it was to dark to take some today i am planning on putting a 32-36 weber on with extractors and a bit of modifying the exhaust also a nice set of 5 spoke rims and just do the body up a bit and mabey lower it down a little just for fun :yes: :P

Gday everybody just letting you know i got yet another rolla this time somthing a bit different a ke20 that was advertised on here not that long ago anyway i picked it up today (thanks 71 ke20) managed to convince dad to let me put it in the shed so i can start work on it straight away. Well thought i might as well start a thread, bought the car from a mates brothers its got 81,000 k's on the clock and books up till 46,000 the 3k snaped and rod and the replacement 4k snaped the flexplate so now its a 4K 4 speed All i have done so far is lower it a bit :fuzz: and painted the wheels black anyway enjoy :P
