hay guys. a lot of you will recognise this pano that simo was building. i finally got it delivered and started we he left. I'm still going the 13b turbo set up with a 5 speed as i love my rotaries and ke's i understood the cvar was sitting in primer for quiet sometime so i went over alooottttt of the body work over the weekend. bringing and welding a few bits and pieces to make it perfect. i also cut out the rear panels to fit windows. some of you will like it some will hate it. anyway just a quick up date to tell you this project has come back to life and i will be finishing it 100%

I've spent most of my free time modifying my 4WDs the last couple of years but I decided it was time for a new project, a Khanacross Corolla. The goal is to just have something to work on and have some fun at the local rally club, plus it seems like Khanacross is a good entry point to get into motorsport. Hey all thought I would introduce my self since I have been lurking on here for a few days So I'm building a 1984 AE71 in to a time attack / hillclimb car. So to start it off i brougnt this car of a lady for $600 and then the stripping started The rear axel was ripped out and sold and a bigger r31 axel and diff purchesed which atm in still lining the mounts up and re welding the mounts on. I then sold the engine and I have a 7mgte in my garage that I'm rebuilding with a forged bottum end better head gasket and new tourqe setting for the head bolts. here is my AE71 that I bought running with a blacktop 20v running standard ecu, and running like shit with vacuum leaks and wiring issues, used it as a daily until I lost my license, (p plate fell down on good behaviour 😔 so I decided i would turn it into a drift car because I'll have a lot more fun on the track with it! Specs on how I got it, Weldy Chopped springs front and rear with kyb AGX shocks in the front with xt130 struts brakes and lcas And using dodgy coolant hoses going to the back of the engine with fwd cooling system Has a dizzy relocation to the front That's about all it had from the start!

Hey there, I've recently got my first KE20. This forum seems like it'd be a great source of knowledge, but it seems kinda dead? Probably due to social media and the fact you can't upload photos?!? Anyone still here???? I already have a lot of questions, so I hope someone still hangs around here! - Can you buy the inner wheel arch plate that bolts in at the rear of the front wheel well (if that makes sense)? i have a toyota corolla cs 85-87 model. it was given to me as a christmas present. but it came with a dodgy paint job and nothing done to it. i have lots of money and many ideas of what to do. I want to install a pioneer sound system which would set me back about 500 or more if i want a head unit,sub, an amp and 3 way speakers. i also want to get extractor and a sports exhuast system. another thing i forgot to mention is a new paint job and rims. if anyone has any other ideas please tell me id like to hear from ya cheers -RoBeRtO- ;)

I've decided to bite the bullet and put the Corolla on the road since I've managed to put yet another ding on the Century and I'm sick of it getting paint chips, scratches, and general trashedupery etc etc. SO while this isn't a project thread per se, I will probably include some before, current and after shots etc, but will also be asking general questions. First one is who has any spare headlight and indicator relays I could borrow to try and determine why the blinkers/hazards/headlights aren't working. Hi, I just joined up and am looking for insiration to finish my ke20 as well as other people that have done simialr things. In breif, I am using a 4AGE bottem end(crank,rods,pistons) in a 5k block with holden V6 roller lifters, roller cam(obviously), 3k big port head(extensivly ported and modified combustion chamber), Hawk EC21 ECU and SC12 supercharger. I have gotten caught up with 355 holdens and need to get motivated to finish this project as the engine itself is ready to assemble. All I need to do is make up the brackets for the blower and finish the inlet manifold. I will post some pics up very soon. Cheers, Matt

hey all this is my new project got this rolla given to me I'm taking the 4k out and putting a rb30 in (like big engines in small cars) its a factory standard engine with extractors and 1m side pipe. planning to do more work to the engine want to get 10s out of it i'll keep posting as i work on it

Ran today out at willowbank for the 2nd time drove out and ran a 12.95 straight of the bat. Followed by a 12.51 and a best of 12.41 last run felt even quicker got a good launch before blowing the box. Lost third went to fourth los forth then rooted the whole box! Big auto and transbrake now maybe???? Seen a certain white ke 4 door also pull some good mid 12 sec passes as well

Got another Courier; this one's an '81, has 108,000mi on the clock, mazda 2.0, 5 speed with a FRIED clutch. ABSOf@$kINGLUTELY no floors. The cab is so rusty the floor is gone, and there's nothing much left for the door hinges to bolt to. I got really wet driving it to work in the rain the first day. Why? He wanted $100usd for it, then told me I could instal a new p/s pump on his '74 chevy 350 and he would GIVE it to me. So it cost me 2 hrs labor, a $35 clutch plat I had leftover from Courier mk. II and a weber 32/36 carb I had in the shed due to the nikki leaking, I had to rebuild the idler arm, and I had a blowout. So those and the rego cost me about $150usd. It get…

Most of you already know my little red KE 18 wagon, it did run a 7K efi engine but i've decided to go back to an original 3K. The 3K i'm using is the old engine out of my KE17 Sprinter. It was originally purchased 12 years ago as a low km Jap import motor, i removed and shaved the head and fitted a mild cam. When the head was removed i noticed the engine was very very clean a real low km Jap import motor, back when you could get them. Already got one quick 7K didn't need a second, just incase you were wondering why i decided to go back to the 3K.
