So I had the ghetto boosted hilux and it just wasn't making me happy. I really liked the r33 and was gutted I sold it to buy the ute for my failed attempt at a business. But I got a new job, paying well and a mate had a Rolla but needed a ute. And he wanted my ute. And after I test drove his car we swapped. So this is it. AE101 sedan with a blacktop 20v with a bunch of SQ goodies. Full exhaust. Coilovers. Sw20 seats. C56 (non lsd, yet). One of those defi style all in one gauges. Body is a bit rough but the grin on my face when I drive it is all that matters. I N D U C T I O N I'LL get some better pics in the next few days. Will hav…

Ok so ive been a watcher for ages and i am getting better with this interweb thing, So i decided to start a build thread. Basically i started with a stocko early 70 that previous owner had painted panda style with cans, It even had a big alloy t-wing on the back,Yeew. I wanted to multi purpose the car so i opted for a Ca 18 nissan motor cause it was cheaper option, and would make the power i wanted with to much effort. SO it has, Ca18 rebuilt ,arias pistons arp bolts ,headstuds, shotpeened rods, balanced, acl race gaskets, gates race belt new tensioners and idlers, puck clutch, single piece tailshaft, Jap spec diff , TRD two way, disk brake ,braided lines front …

Hey all my names Jarrod I live in capalaba and own a 78 ke30 4dr sedan. It came with the stock 3k which needed a rebuild so i stripped it down and left it there for 8 months. Got board saturday just gone so I went and bought a complete 5k and dropped it in, it isn't running just yet needs a few things such as a radiator. The only other things I've done so far is put a woodgrain steering wheel on goes well with the vinyl seats and some gold skull door lock knobs. Transmission is automatic might swap it later on down the line but not in the near future. Anyway here are some pics. 5k in engine bay 5k ready to go in

Hi guys i went to WSID tonight to see cuzzo race his Ke30 and i ran across this ke30 and blew my load all over his car when he opened the bonnet. I've always loved the idea of a crazy K series engine with injection and big turbo, but thought it was a little to pricey and wouldn't make enough power in the end as i want over 200kw atw out of what ever engine i used with out having to go to crazy. Anyways this car belongs to Steven from sydney, he did all the work him self as he is a fabricator its a 3k 1.2L which has been fully built and steve has created the custom plenum and injection himself aswell as all the other custom bits. I really like it as its very unique an…

I can't remember a time in recent memory where a conversation with him that has lasted more than 20 seconds didn't end up with him telling me or anyone else how much he misses the KE25 Corolla he owned 12 YEARS AGO! Fast forward to two weeks ago when someone posts up the car he rescued from a wrecking yard for $400. So after umming and ahhing for a while I send my bro a text message (around midnight in new york) commically suggesting he buys it to drive when he visits Australia next... 3 mins later he calls me. Its done 81k miles and I have purchased a TRD 20% uprated Heavy-Duty Clutch, Ashley Exhaust System and a GREEN Power-Flow Twin Cone air-filter, which will all hopefully get me to 140BHP There is a lot of rust on the offside front arch and the nearside rear arch and on the struts inside the car, but I will be getting it sorted soon and will then have it resprayed in white. I have already replaced the tailgate with a smoothed over tailgate and I have soldered the cut wires and…

Got another Courier; this one's an '81, has 108,000mi on the clock, mazda 2.0, 5 speed with a FRIED clutch. ABSOf@$kINGLUTELY no floors. The cab is so rusty the floor is gone, and there's nothing much left for the door hinges to bolt to. I got really wet driving it to work in the rain the first day. Why? He wanted $100usd for it, then told me I could instal a new p/s pump on his '74 chevy 350 and he would GIVE it to me. So it cost me 2 hrs labor, a $35 clutch plat I had leftover from Courier mk. II and a weber 32/36 carb I had in the shed due to the nikki leaking, I had to rebuild the idler arm, and I had a blowout. So those and the rego cost me about $150usd. It get…

  31. Just turned up yesterday arvo, gave it a quick wash and cleaned the windows and took some average pics this morning. This one owner 74 KE36 wagon has only done 35,000kms, came from a 96 year old lady in Cairns. Apart from a small paint touch up at the end of the left front guard all the paint is original, trim is great, dash perfect, carpet has faded a little around gear shift, rear bumper has small dent left side and still had the plastic on both front doors until my son thought he would un-rap the door trims for me. Usual plans of a major detail, but this one will remain 100% stock and original. Will post better pics later and will hopefully get it ready for the Al Pal…
