Hey fellas ive recently brought a ke70 with a old tired stock motor I'm ripping it out am thinking og putting a 4age motor in just for my first attempt of a conversion is there any good sites i can buy one ready with gear box and computer i can get delivered

I really want to learn more about that powerfull engine,and when i say how it feels,i mean stock or modified,and if it is better than 4A-GE or a 7A-GE(With 20v and Crina's blocks,just like Keiichi's).And what do you thing is better for this engine,turbo,carbo-turbo or EFI turbo?

Hi, I am looking for an intake manifold throttle body of a 7k EFI KR-42 town ace. I am from Fiji and unfortunately there is no one here in Fiji that has this exact part. I really do need someone to help me with getting this part. The picture attached is currently the intake manifold throttle body of our vehicle that is bugged. would appreciate a help from anyone in this forum right now. thanks

i have a rear window louver for my ke, it has all the plastic bolts but not the actual adhesive pads to stick to the window for the louver to clip onto :( Does anyone know where i can get these from???? thankyou

hi i have done lots of research on what motor to put in my ke70 I'm looking for something that will go onto the trans i have and fit on the engine blocks that are in the car from its original 4k that i have don't want to go super fast just something like a 2L or 1.8L with electronic intake not a carb just looking to here some ideas from you guys and what you would do

Hi I got a 1980 Ke70 with 4K, usually when i turn the ignition i can hear a relay click in when i try to start the car, but now theres nothing, and it seems no power is going to the starter when i try turn it. Battery and everything is fine, so i suspect its the relay, but where is it located? Thanks for ur help, Tom

Hi Guys, new to this forum. Thanks for having me. I'm moving from Qld to Syd and will bring across my KE30. Currently on full Qld rego. The car is modified with a 5K motor, K50 gearbox and diff to suit. Everything else standard. It has been engineered in Qld to be registered. However, I will need to do this again in NSW. I would like to register the car under modified historic registration with the club once in NSW. Can anyone tell me what I will need to do to have the car ready for historic rego and estimate of cost involved? Thanks in advance.

Are Ke70 and Ae70 bushes the same the reason I'm asking is i have a Ke70 with Ae71 front end in it (4age conversion) and i want to order all new bushes

I have a friend down in NSW, up Gosford way, who is in the final stages of finishing off an SR20 Nissan engine rebuild, with all the good stuff, as part of the engine makeover/upgrade. He wants to drop it into a Corolla KE70 body; but is having great difficulty, locating a reasonable KE70 body. He doesn't mind if it is just a shell, as long as it hasn't got extensive rust. Obviously, He won't be put off, if it doesn't have an engine in it, as He has His SR20, just about ready to drop in. Hey guys I just bought a ke70 but the front bumper on it doesn't fit right, I was told it because the bumper is off a ke71 or ae71 maybe not sure, all i wanted to know is, is it just a different bumper skin or do i need the metal reinforcement also?

So my KE70 will need to go in for MOT to get its documents. Having read around it seems like the lights are awful - some bulb need replacing. I tried to find more information - ideally I'd love to go to LED (even angel eyes) but I don't know if that's possible so maybe at least halogen, having done some searches on here I am confused as to .... A) where/what bulbs to buy for the rears lights and indicators B) What are my options for front light replacements/bulbs

hey everyone, so I've installed a new tacho instruments cluster into my ke70, it had the good'old quartz clock cluster, and everything works, but the fuel gauge, I don't remember if the old one worked (still have in just encase there is part failure), but I've taken out the rear tail-lights cause I'm doing rust repair, and I noticed that the fuel gauge wasn't moving and staying in the off position, when the car is running, all the other things in the cluster work cause Toyota just used a standard wiring loom for all KE70's. so the question is, does the fuel gauge wire run though the tail-lights wiring? not 100% sure. and I can't find a wiring diagram that says anyth…

Howdy Rollaclub/KE70.com, I'm looking at engine options for my panelvan and was just wondering what advice or experiences some of you guys might have to add. At the moment the panelvan has a 4K 5speed in it with extractors 2'' exhaust and a webber carb. I have a few schools of thought as to what to do with it. option 1- Work the 4K a bit harder... cam, head work and maybe forced induction. Option 2- source a 5K. cam, carb, exhaust and thinking about supercharging it. (not sure on pitfalls/difficulties and tuning) Option 3- 4AGE with basic mods, the only thing that turns me off this idea is the amount of work to get the car legal in SA and the cost of the …

Hi there I new to this sort of stuff but anyway I have a ke70 project car it has a 4a cross member in it ready for a 4a to be dropped in, but I'm having troubles with the gear box I assume I need a t series gearbox but does that mean I need to change the gearbox cross members from k40-t50 and if so how hard is that to do. And also with the diff do i need a ae71 manual tail shaft and will that fit a ke70 diff?

Hello rollaclub I have a question about my 4age 16v conversion. Will a standard KE70 rear axle be enough to handle the abuse of a stock 4age 16v with minor mods? Or do i have to search for a ae86 rear axle? Because in my country they are really rare and super expensive. I'm not planning to use my car for drifting or racing. It will be just a street car. Hello everyone! Cheers! I have a KE30 sedan with a 4K swapped engine + KE70 gearbox. I'm currently using the stock KE30 LongShaft and Axle, is there any difference if I were to put ke70 longshaft and axle into my ke30? And can I reuse the original brake lines from my ke30 body to the ke70 axle if I were to fit it in?

Hi i brought my grandmas 84 KE70 S model, it has stock 4K engine. runs smooth no problems until you get to a hill. The car will loose all power and stall out. even on a small slop you have to drop it back to 2nd and wont go any faster than 40. Could it just be the fuel pump or is it something big?

You may or may not be aware I have been handed the task of improving/modding the sub section of RC that is KE70.com. There are a lot of sites out there mostly dedicated to the AE86 with the humble *E7* tagging along for the ride. And lets face it, even though they share many similarities they are a different car. Hi team, First time post here so let me know if I’m doing this right.. basically I’m wondering if any members here are able to point me in the right direction for a tuning/carby specialist shop in the Rotorua/BOP area. Might be a long shot but worth a try. I’m currently battling with my 4k build and hit a brick wall with the finer points of fuelling and breathing. Buen día Tengo un TE72, tengo la interrogante de como se comporta la luz indicadora (fasten belts) según con el diseño original En mi auto pongo el motor en marcha, la luz enciende pero pasado unos pocos segundos esta se apaga sin importar si los cinturones están o no abrochados Y no sé, si dicha luz debería apagarse hasta que los cinturones se abrochen. Podrían ayudarme a despejar la interrogante?
