Hey thought i should post my engine conversion. Most of the melbourne guys have seen my car. 5k engine with a weber etc. Well all thats coming out and a 2tg is going in. Day 1 Gearbox off engine to change over clutch New clutch etc. on Day 2 5k comes out 2tg goes in Had one casualty... the speedo cable was forgotten about and when pulling the engine out on the crane it got rather rooted Day 3 to be continued...

hey guys I'm new to this forum and would like to say a good HELLLLLLOOOO lol Neways ive just picked up myself a Toyota Corolla II (Corsa), It hasnt been modded or no mechanic has touched the engine (only for a service). Its power is pretty good for a car thats under the ton, 910kgs and runs 85kw @ FWs. It has a high and a low boost switch (standard switch), but not sure what boost it runs on low or high, but would love to find out. It is running a CT12 turbo, which i have no clue what rate that is (only worked on cousins CT26 in GT4). I would also like to no what the best boost range would be on the turbo for boost controller? I am about to get stuck into my Suzota build, or since I'm on the Toyota site should that be a Toyzuki????????? This is a project I though of doing a lot of years ago & just never got around to it. I have a LWB Suzuki Sierra chassis & drive lines & I am about to put a Corolla station wagon onto it. :D It will be an Individually Constructed Vehicle for rego purposes which means about 2k in Engineering fees but ya get that. 1.6 Engine & Auto will be donated from a Vitara (so far), unless you lads can think of a Viable yota alternative, still open to suggestions on that. Will be a long build due to having to feed my 3 snot goblins as well..

Hey guys... i am Dennis i live in the states... i adopted this great condition ke30 with a 3tc swap after i sold my ery amazing prelude to pay for school... $2500 for her drove 400+ miles to get her worth every ounce of gas i love this car... almost more then the prelude :D this is a few pics of the whip when i just got her... shes been lowered don't worry. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Just got back and what a weekend of racing, we lost a few races off the programme due to carnage on the mountain.... it bites big time when you get it wrong. Thankfully we had a incident free weekend and improved our times every session, found 12 secs from my first lap to my fastest lap and probably another 5-7 secs still to be found. Masters session The masters session is a there for first timers to Bathurst and is quite handy for learning lines, brake markers , flag points etc. We went behind a MX5 with a decent steerer behind the wheel and followed his lines. Hi all I have been missing having a fun weekend car that I can take on cruises etc and have been keeping an eye out for something classic and preferably in original condition. That search led me to this little gem. Its a 1969 KE15 SL Sprinter with just over 90,000km on the clock. Was owned by a 95 yo (!!!!) marine engineer, who hasn't driven it in the last 4 or 5 years, but up to then was his pride and joy. I dealt with his daughters who wanted it to go to a loving home, and fortunately they decided I was the perfect second owner! They were apparently never allowed to drive it when they were growing up, it was his car and his car only! it had a flat batter…

Now that i've given the old girl a proper clean up i thought id post up a few details. While it is still far from finished i gave it a cut and polish just to see how the original paint (most of it) would look. Basicaly it started out like a dirty ass chalk board and now its back to its original white, with a brilliant shine through it. It took me about 13 hrs to complete from start to finish over a few days with a bit of gin time as well. Next time if i get carried away i might put the clay bar on it but i should really remove the rusted spots first. Just picked this up and have not decided what i am to do with it (also the wife is not to impressed due to having a Ke26 4door and a 72 HQ kingswood) It is fairly rustly but still able to be saved, all the trim and mouldings are good and the tailgate does not have any rust at all. If I am to keep it, it will probably get a SR20det and set up for the drags but still street rego'd Tell me what you think?

I currently own a AE71 corolla... It has a 4agze motor but wothout the supercharger at the moment but hopefully either supercharging it or turboing it heres some pictures of the project coming along :

this is how I found the poor thing here is the 1200cc powerhouse since these were taken the car is out of the weeds. I have test fitted some 13x7 wheels and they will clear nicely. Ebay has graciously provided new brakes (ouch my wallet hurts) I have a nice Hyundai rear spoiler (re-commissioned as an airdam) thanks to U-pull-it (although I may go a different way). A friend is donating various Ford parts to make the car turn (cough swaybar cough). I think I have found some slicks for it on E-bay so it'll stick too. Budget wise on my $500 self imposed limit I will have enough left to either paint it or buy a racing seat (read used MX-5 seat). I'll …

Hi guys love your forum thought id beta post my project up after haven a long look at most of the rides here. Basicaly i bought this 75 ke 30 2 weeks back I'm in melbourne i picked it up with 2 months rego its 4k 4spd manual 4 door and needs work in last 2 weeks i have serviced everything when i got it the brakes didnt work until you pumped about 3-4 times now there fine. had more oil under the car then in the motor and had more dirt and crap in it then u can imagin. all i need is a windscreen now and I'm done can get my roadworthy certficate only problem is the windscreen joint found me a new windscreen but can't find me a seal :jamie: any ideas????

any ways i relise its no rolla but never fear i will still be hunting down a rolla its an 86 na hardtop MA70 with 230,000km and only cost $2000, bargan everything works, a/c, windows, mirros, power steering, cruze control and even the LSD seems alrite. its a bit ratty but with a bit of polish and clean up it will come up good i only have one pic taken on my crappy phone but will get later once its out of the shed and nice and shiny engine seems to be running pretty good but whats a fiew things i could do to get her going a bit better? i was thinking of taking off the intake manafold and cleaning it out and getting the injectors cleaned, any other ideas??…

Just couldn,t resist, genuine log 65000ks 4 matching tyres with 70% tread dated 4/89 33 years old and never had a radio, still some plastic on the door trims, 100% rust free all priginal paint just needs a polish immac inside except pull handles are broken, may consider selling if anyone is serious

Hi all, sold my charade a few months ago and bought this to run around on: Bug Agility 125 It was fantastic till the rains set in....then it was time to get another reliable daily... Ended up going with a TOYlet (1998 Toyota Starlet LiFE) Just got an alarm/central locking put in, will have tints next week, and that's where the mods end. This car is AWESOME! for a 1.3 it's heaps quick and extremely well built. would recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable an fuel efficient daily. Cheers, Mark

hey everyone i'm new to the forum this is my second AE82 but this one that i have just acquired is not stock like the first. it has a 4agze and lsd gearbox out of a AE101 levin and i believe AE92 disc brakes, it also has had a light blue respray that has a purple tint in the light. the interior has been re-trimmed in blue and white and it has gt gauges. after driving it i just had to have it, its such a little rocket and the engine noise is second to none. it has stock Toyota alloys and standard tires that light up at any hint of throttle its a joy to drive. here are some pics... thanks for checking it out

hey all I will try update this thread as I build my ke70, it's a racecar I intend to use in a class called special saloon and the rules is somewhat similar as the old gr.5 I once had an old thread but I want a fresh start as this no longer is a "track car" I will use the 4A-GE blacktop, and for chassis I aim for lowest possible weight, I will try my best to be around 700kg included driver + fuel engine is moved approx 20cm further to the rear, pedalbox and driver seat is also moved approx 20cm and the car is lowered approx 20cm, roof height is 120cm ( stock 140cm ) right now the rolling chassis weight 386kg which I think is a bit to heavy so I'm c…

Hey all, after an absolute shit-fight with towing, I am now the proud owner of a really good (compared to my usual buckets) Multi-coloured AE71 wagon. I sat down and actually wote a plan for this car. She will need to be inspected to get registration, so I am going to leave the 4ac in it, degrease,clean etc, do body work and paint (white "rollered" boat paint), fit the TRX rims with leagl 2nd hand tyres, change the diff centre (ROFLMAO at the thought of driving in to inspection bay with the weldy in place!) and fit the missing driveling components from "Jesus". Hi Everyone, I've been looking around here for the past few months at everyones rides so I thought I'd share a couple of pics of mine. I don't know much about my rolla, I bought because I was looking for a cheap run around as a 2nd car (paid $700 for it) but I've kinda fallen in love with it now!! It's a 1980 KE55 SE in Ivory Glow, well I call it 'bowls beige', with beige interior. It has the original 4K and auto in it, total granny spec. I'm the 2nd registered owner and it was originally bought new from Terry Shields Toyota in Parramatta. Hope the pics work!

I was originally looking to buy an AE86, but found him sitting next to the railway line in Auchenflower (brisbane) and thought, "Meh, close enough." :P I chucked a 4A-C motor in, the old motor was destroyed, (already had a T50 box) and ran him for about 3 months, but then the inevitable craving for power kicked in and i needed more performance! Although many looked at me strangely when i said i wanted power from a 4A-C, I did the easiest thing an chucked a Weber in (32/36), this resulted in 90hp at the fly and 58hp at the wheels, not too bad really. Hi Everyone, This is my 3rd corolla so far, the first two being KE70's. haven't made any threads for this yet, although it is only stock atm, so not too exciting :) Currently have a 4ac powerhouse in the engine bay, with stock suspension and sway bars making fast corners a dream :P few bits of rust, mainly around the fuel cap and near the back right wheel arch. I own a green AE112 corolla levin i got stock about six months ago. i swapped my dad my ae112 ascent for it :wink: first thing that had to be done to it was a stereo, kenwood double din tv/dvd headunit, fusion 6" splits, fusion 6 1/2" 3 ways in the parcel tray, fusion 4channel 900watt amp, fusion 12" powerplant 1300watt sub, fusion 1000watt monoblock amp. the stereo cranks its good for close to 130db.. more recent mods 2 1/4" cat back exhaust, 17"by7" advanti mazeR wheels and super low king spring.. I'm looking at doin a head conversion so ill be running a 7age is there anywhere in sydney that builds 7age's ??

Well I figure I better start a thread on this thing for two reasons, 1: I'm about to do some work to it 2: It's trying to kill me, so I may as well post it up before it gets the chance Ok, a few of you would have seen this thing at the recent cruise, it is the replacement for the Panel Van that found a ditch (found more stuff to take pictures of BTW, will get some tomorrow), and best of all, it was cheap. So I buy it unregistered, do some of the dodgiest ghetto repairs known to man, and get it registered, engine sounds like death but is surprisingly strong, radiator leaks, gearbox sounds like it wants to drop a cog or three, diff clunks n rattles and has so…

Picked up another rolla last week. 90.000kms, no oil leaks, reco head, new hoses, fairly good bodywork. Stock as, all ihave done is pull all the door moulds of cos it was missing a couple. Got it with rego for 500 bucks, tell me what you thimk and maybe what its worth. Also what i should do with it, i was thinking lower it and put some whitewalls on there. Cheers

gday guys, i thought id share some photos of getting my car back from the painters. Ive put some of the braking parts back on and the engine will be going back in this weekend. Ive got a s15 sr20de+t. Commodore brakes and commodore diff with mini spool. Ive changed the fuel lines and changed all of the brake lines. The interior will also going back in this weekend. when the engine is put back in this weekend i will post more pics. edit: gday ive removed some photos of my car and added some of the engine in and my boot lining 95% done and excuse the dirty boot everything gets stuck in the boot carpet. hope you like hope u like..

This is my fourth rolla and hopefully not the last but instead of using it for khanacross(which i use all the others for) this one is going to be road registered so I can use it when I get my L's (in 2 yrs) The car cost me $150 it is not licenced at the moment (It was but the people kept the plates :hmm: ). the interior is imaculate :lol: no cracks in the dash, and it has not faded. The body is in very good condition on the drivers side but needs a new rear panel on the passengers side. Under the hood it has a stock 4K-C Hi-Cam motor which has a Blown head gasket. The only bad rust it has is around the top of the boot which is only about the size of a 50c coin but it…

Hey all, i now have a ke30 2 door corolla. My turbo Ke55 is on hold for the moment :P Here are some pics of the car when i picked it up. As you can see it needs a little bit of work! This car has a 5k motor and a 5 speed gearbox. the body is fairly straight apart from a few dents around the place. and there is minimal rust.. compared to my other corolla!
