hi, I am just wondering if anyone can leed me in the right direction, my ke55 coupe currently has TA22 celica front struts in it but i just wanted to no if there are any ajustable coilovers that will fit in without too much hassel. thanks, Ben. :y:

Does anyone know what I would look up in the yellow pages to get something like that done? My door has dropped on the driver side and it has heaps of play (I can lift the door up and down) so was wondering who can do that type of work to fit new and larger pins to my door hinges. Ok its nearly 4 am, i can't sleep and i was thinking how cool would it be to have gilmer belt drive on my ke10. Purely for wank factor of course cos its got bugger all chance of slipping a belt. Has anyone done it?. I know u can get kits for a rotary but i wanna know if its possible to get one for a k motor. Even if its a kit with no holes drilled. anyone?(This may be a lost cause :y: )

I'm buying a 4k worked engine tonight guy doesnt no to much about it as he bought it off his mate who spent some money on it. It doesnt come with a head so can't really run it. What are some clear give away things to look out for that its been worked.

Well i was getting my Daily car's exaust leak fixed yesterday, when i saw this parked out front of the Exhaust Shop. Toyota Hiace with a full house body kit, and super deep dish rims. The body kit was a bit rough in places (in regards to how it all mated up), but it wasnt overly disgusting in real life.......thats not to say that i would even consider buying the car. :y: It certainly had the most dished wheels that i had ever seen on a van though.

I am considering a turbo set up for my stock 4age 16v blue and black tpo ge. I was wondering if any one hase done this ( I'm sure some one has) its unclear how mutsh boost theas motors can handle in stock form? dost the t 50 have the strenth to take 8 to 10 pound of boost? any info on this would be verry helpful. cheers Michael.

my mate has an 1981 RA40-R celica GT-2000, it was one of our mates fathers car and he babied it for many years, he sold it to my mate for quite a decent price and it was in excellent condition both mechanically and visually. ne ways, it has an 18RG in it (2ltr DOHC, stock form roughly 150ish hp) which is not the original engine i believe? i was wondering if ne one call fill me in on the engine pros and cons? i know that it is fairly rare, and goes bloody hard.... that however is no technical knowledge. i want to know what you can do with these engines, if ne one knows, how much HP they r capable of and roughly how much and engine is worth???? i understand these ar…

Heya guys! Ive been on the phone this arvo ringing up and enquireing prices on re-bushing the entire suspension in my ke30 (front and rear), I'm just wanting to buy the bushes and do it all myself. Must be nolathane or better, all the guestimates i got were all over $300? is this in the ball park? i rebushed another ke30 over 4 years ago and to do the whole front end was a little over $100, how times have changed! If anyone could point me in the direction of a autoparts wholesaler or reasonally priced place it would be greatly appreciated, i just thinks the prices now are a little steep for what little you get, located in brissy. cheers, phatke30!

http://www.hasselgren.com/products.html Read the fine print at the bottom. You can get a set of coated FA pistons for 800 US Dollars. That is a bargain. If they had the same gudgeon pin size then this would have to be the ultimate in NA performance pistons. These things rev to 12000rpm!

Hey just curious as I've seen a lot of people with overrated / perfect condition stickers on their twinkys however mine have bloody dirt stuck around the outside of them making the twin cam sticker on the bottom left rear door look quite crap.. any method to clean these babies up nicely or some where to buy originals to stick back on ? cheers guys ! flowers.gif

I got it for $300 in almost perfect condition although i am thinking of selling it! shock horror i know i am think of getting a Trueno and turn it into a drift machine. i am only 17 so any help you guys can give would be good, such as advisable mods and prices cheers guys ps great site

Would anyone be interested in an organised form of motorsport, exclusively for the xe7x 4age combination. I know I would. Does anyone have any thoughts on this topic? It seems we all have little weapons in the garage, and it would be such a great entry level form of racing as it seems corollas are common as can be. 4ages can be had very cheaply. The class should carry specific equipment rules, for parity and to keep costs right down. With the potential of these cars, you could have meets where you do laps for times one day, then have a drift the next. Let us know what you think. :D

Hey I'm after some advice I have a 92 sx seca with the 100kw small port.. it goes alright but i think its getting a bit long in the tooth. I was thinking about putting a 20v or maybe a 4AGZE. Just wondering if its worth doing? taking into consideration Price, the amount of work to change over, and if it will fit in the engine bay ok. and the amount of extra performance compared to the smallport. any advice is much appreated .thanks
