Now your probably thinking right now, "Oh no hes going to bolt it onto his 4AGE" right? But that would be the rational thing to do now wouldn't it? Have I ever been known to think rationally? I propose...... The 4A-CT. Yes, you heard right. Now i can source the main parts like the turbo, IC for cheap. (read nothing) but things like blow-throuh carby, manifold, water/oil lines, piping etc i'll have to shell out for. Now. What are people thoughts on this idea. I'm not chasing big power or anything. Just a mode…

I hope this doesn't sound like a win win situation for me alone... frankly it is because I get help on something I don't know.. but I think it would also be a win win situation for s…

I've picked up some pretty blue and gold anodised sleeves from fulcrum for my front struts but I'm baffled as to how they are actually attached. They look like they're made of alloy so they can't be welded to the strut. Are they press fit or do you need to attach a steel collar of some kind to hold it in place? I noticed Fook was using the same product but i can't see how its attached to the strut. Any ideas?

Lately my car has been having a few heat issues when driving, normally it used to sit just above the 1/3 way mark, lately its been hitting half way and jumping to the last mark on the guage before the overheating mark. Replaced the thermostat today and it still did the same thing going up the highway, the guage is all over the place, anyone had temperature troubles with a 4K-C before? any suggestions as to what it might be? had the engine apart 6 months ago and the head gasket was changed then, only other thing I can think of is to try torque the head down a bit more... (suspect it has been chewing some water lately so i'm going to have to keep my eye on it)

Also, the carbie (standard Stromberg) has had a new needle & seat installed and cleaned out. can ANYONE shed any light on my problem before i give up and send it to my mechanic... cheers, matt :D :D
