Hi, I would like to present my rolla which is my sort of obsession :-) Its now twincharged and I think it is very near its complete state (which I am not sure what is exactly :-)) - Let me tell you my story. All started in 2008 when i was desperately looking for something with 4age engine. This E8 appeared on the marked and on the every next day I made a deal with its owner. It was a bit rusty but the engine was in great condition, car was light and nimble, had this smell of old inside :-) it was just great. I will post pics in separate posts of different stages that the car went through since than. This is how it was on the beginning:

So here's my first AE86. I've had KE70's and a T18 before, but not a hachi. So it's either a Dec 83 or a Jan 84 build (not sure) zenki Levin. Bought it for $1400 full of holes where rust had been cut out. It had no panels on it but came with everything minus a drivers door. The hatch that came with it was cut to bits so I went and got a TRD one with no rust for $200. Trailered it 300kms home pulling it with an R30 Skyline (that only overheated once through the hills) and left it overnight still strapped to the trailer. The next day I started just bolting stuff on, seeing how it all looked so I can decide on a paint colour and start welding/sanding/priming. …

For those of you that don't know me personally I not so long ago picked up a cheap ae92 (or Holden nova) as a daily for my partner but after some discussion we decided that we would wait to get something abit newer so after trying to sell it with no luck and my ke70 track car being nowhere near completed I decided to turn it into a budget circuit racer to keep me amused till my ke70 was done and then pass it on to my partner to get her out on the track.. It was quite sad and run down with 300,000+ kms on the clock filthy interior stocko 13" steelies and more water leaks than a sivve.. So after replacing the water pump, welch plugs, hoses and a badly corroded thermostat ho…

Hey all, I've just joined this site, looks really nice! I have to say this little restoration is nothing compared to some of the amazing work you've all put in to your rollas!! Also I can't say i'm worthy compared to the awesome RWD beauts too! So the story to me picking this sad look car up is I used to have a black AE92 with the 2nd gen 4AGE tvis, unfortunately I didn't have the time, space, money or guts to get that one sorted. So without realising how ridiculously rare these were getting in the UK I sold it on to find out it was scrapped. Sooooo after getting married in July last year I asked the new wife if I could go out and buy this 'clean' looking coro…

Hey guys bought this Corolla for cheap due to it having a blown head gasket so this is the journey so far, cleaning it up and replacing everything on the motor. When I first got it. As you can see she was pretty rough. The plan is to do a budget street cred build. But I want it to be mechanically A1 first. Painted it in primer for the time being. This model came stock with 2 small speakers under the dash and thats it. So I thought about it and decided to run all new wires to the doors so I could run 6.5s all round. Alot of work as you can see seeing as there were no holes in the doors or body so I had to do it all my self. Ran all the wiring th…

Hi guys and girls, thought I would post up my new project that I have been planning for quite a while. Have had the 4AGE donor car for over a year now but have been searching for the perfect car to chuck all the good bits into! So here is the one I found. I am the 3rd owner, 157,xxxkms on the clock. Paint is near perfect apart from fade on the roof which will be being resprayed factory colour. Jacked it up to have a look underneath and found NO RUST! So before I pulled the 4AGE out I decided to comp test it, in which, no joke it lost compression on cylinders 1-3 while I was testing it.... All had 30psi except cyl 4 which had 140psi. So plan is to rebuild it, I pulled the …

Thought I's post some belated build photo's of my AE92 Khanacross car, There's not a lot of information out there for them, so could be a helpful resource to people contemplating this path in the future. I was fortunate to get this ex-roadcar from a guy at work, who had spent a bunch of money on it with the wrong people, and become disenchanted with it. Originally he wanted quite a bit of money for it, but I managed to eventually prise it from him for not a lot at all. It still had it's issues, faded paint, dents poorly repaired, rust, horrible wiring with a typical boyracer stereo and lowered suspension.W When it first arrived. Start stripping everything…

Been looking for a second car for a while, it bit of an impulse buy that came up out of no where, but its perfect and suits me well. I lied its far from perfect but she'll be right! can't complain for the price :D The car is an AE93 Corolla SX equipped with a 4AGE. Current modifications include: - Half the dash trim is silver (CARS I BUY, Y U NO ONE COLOUR INTERIOR?!!) - Very very soft shockies on the verge of being blown - Water pump which pumps water straight to the ground (Think of it like a Jet Ski for extra speeds...) - Radiator hoses held by multiple cable ties (because drift car) - Duct tape holding drivers door trim in the correct positio…

Had this for 6-ish months. The wifes car. She inherited it from her Gran who has had it since new. Obviously being a Nanamobile its a 1.6 Auto! We've left fairly well alone as the car is very original. Garaged its whole life. I've had tints put in, fitted a 200w Sony head unit, scored the alloys from a fellow Rollaclubber in Brizzy (sorry -- forgot your name), Euro wipers, removed the Crime Scene Investigation decals and thats it. A thorough cut-n-polish, new oil and filter and you have an ultra reliable runabout that belies its age very well. Needs front struts 'cause they're shagged and the front nearside wheel bearing has suffered due to the old lady 'park by feel' te…

Well, hope you are all sitting down, this one will make you queezy.... Picked this up reasonably cheap just before christmas, has a few issues and had a small bump in the PS front (nothing major, all superficial) The story that came with it, was that the blokes GF had found out he was cheating on her, so she took to his airbrushing with her car keys, resulting in this- Then it was sold onto the person we bought it from, who's "friend" told her he would have a look at getting it running for her and proceeded to take all the panels off, bars off, lights out etc etc. So she was stuck with a pulled apart car and NFI what to do. (hence the first photo with n…

I've had this little seca for something like 18 months, It gets the daily duties while the wagon and the torana hang out at home. wagon: Torana I've had/built 4 or 5 AE92/3s in the past 6 years, so when I needed a cheap car to leave at the station and drive the freeway in, decison was pretty easy. Picked it up like this, Freshly rebuilt smallport 4AGE, new clutch, new CVs, etc etc. Would later turn out some dodgy things had been done, but nothing major. photos don't show how rough the body is, theres rust in the front screen and lots of "whoopsie" marks around the body, someone colourblind must have tried to touch up the pa…

Hey guys, My names Wil, new to this forum, but i am on a few others like jdmst. This is my second car, a 93csi limited corolla, bulk stock and perfect condition when i got it. Its pretty fun to drive, but does lack a fair bit of power as its got a 4AFE lol. I've lightly modified it to suit my personal preference so if you don't like what of done thats understandable. I want to keep it to a clean, simple look. So i have done these things: -Lowered 2.5" (Reset springs) -SX Spoiler, black -2o% tints (Groundzero) -Custom Hurricane exhaust w/ 3" dumped tip (no current pics of tip) -16" rims -Clarion head deck -No name Sub -Cadence Monoblock -K&N Apoll…

The build thread for my 4AGZE powered AE95 Toyota Corolla 4WD wagon. My AE95 Social Media Landing Page {Intro + Purchase} I purchased my 1989 Toyota Corolla AE95 SR5 AWD Wagon in June 2006. I found it on eBay (where else :P) and paid a tidy sum of $500 for it. Saved from the scrap yard. It had a non-existent clutch, a couple of smallish dents, a/c gasless, no rego and the red paint was completely faded. Apart from those few minor things it was fairly straight all round. At that time I had already shopped around trading post etc. and I found the average price for a decent AE95 was $3000 so really I was happy with what I got. The main reasons for indulging in th…

I've built another AE95. Bagging and painting my first wagon was cool but some years later I needed something less subtle to go camping and exploring in. My goal is to build an adventure wags. My AE95 Social Media Landing Page My Instagram feed with numerous Gezza photos. The Beginning: In March 2015, I happen to hear word on the FB grapevine of a corolla wagon that had been sitting on a driveway for years. A bit of investigation and a site visit landed myself another corolla wagon for the tidy sum of $150. A budget buy deserved an ultra budget build. How I found the new wagon (sitting for 5 years) Shortly after picking up th…

I'm a new member here. Just thought I'd stick my new beast up. It's my brand new 1988 TOYOTA COROLLA AE95R SR5. I'm the third owner and the first 2 owners were very caring. The interior is pretty much perfect and apart from the bonnet and a spot on the roof the paint is perfect and it goes good and all that. The 4AFE is nothing special in performance but it's a lot nicer than the 4AC in my last car. These are the only pics I've got at the moment. It's got air Con, Cd Player, Central Locking, Electric Mirrors, Power Steering and Tinted Windows. I've got a set of 15" wheels I'm hoping will fit on. I've heard power is hard to come by in the F department so I…
