yesterday i acquired a ke25, it is a 73 deluxe auto. it came as a rolling shell with no motor or box. the shell is pretty much rust free, with the only rust i've found being in the bottoms of the front guards and a bit on one side under the radiator support panel. the bottom of the doors and rear guards are excellent rustwise. needs a bit of panelbeating and a paintjob. the interior is pretty good. needs a hood liner, dashtop, and carpet. otherwise it is pretty overrated. anyway here's some pics:

Well, this little T18... I bought her from this guy and his daughter who had gotten a bit of a run around from their rebuilder/painter, who did the most orange-peely job I have ever seen... Twice apparently! She was sitting on King Springs and matched short stroke shocks, and running a rebuilt, albiet stock 3T-C. Very tidy car, other than the terrible paint. She became affectionately known as Allie. Used as a daily driver for quite a while, with nothing more than couple of rims changes... Then, things went a little crazy... I sourced a 3TGTE from KYP, backed by a W55, some custom coilovers and RA65 brakes for the front, and lower than low kings for the …

Picked another ke70 panel van up a little while back. Much better than my other one. Specs: 4k. 4 speed. few extra little bits here and there. No rust at all! Windowless! Slowly getting it ready. Got screwed around something chronic when i bought it. its still defected. but i'm getting it off in the next couple weeks. don't have many photos of it. just ones from when i first got it. Looks much better now. Anyway, enjoy some photos. Dave.

Hey guys, Finally finished doing up my little ke11 Sl. I think it came out pretty damn nicely. Has roll cage, ke30 discs (split system brakes), rx7 front strut inserts 12' wheels (buying some 13 or 14' superlites) Motor is a full house 3k. Has a huge cam, bigport head (not ported), twin 40mm webbers blueprint and balanced bottom end, datsun double valves springs, stainless valves, forged pistons, forged rods, revs to 10000rpm makes power at 4500rpm. 3 core rad re trimmed interior, heaps more but i don't have the list infront of me but its basically a full rebuild. The car was built for historic group n but probably wil only see sprints and regularity came out to good…

I picked this oldie up back in March this year and has been in the garage ever since :-) This particular car I have got my hands on was featured in a Book Called CARS by Stephen Bayley in 2009. The car has been stored in a garage at the parents house of the middle aged gentleman I purchased it off since 1995. It only came out in 2009 when it was taken for its photo shoot. Unfortunately like any old Toyota its suffering from a bit of neglect and tin worm and is in need of a restoration. After spending nearly 16 years in a garage has helped it survive.

So i finally got me a corolla after months of looking, picked this up a few weeks ago now. Needed a daily as my other car - xr6t ute is not ideal for driving everyday anymore as it drinks the fuel and ill be taking it of pump fuel very shortly in hope of a 10sec pass :). i'll attach a pic but enough of that back onto the rolla lol. i wanted something small and rwd did a bit of research and found old corolla's were the easiest to find for a cheaper $ and more realiable. loved the shape of ke70's so went hunting, looked at a lot of shitters but found a nice yellow one after abit over a month of looking but the ute needed new valve springs so it took priority and by the time…

Ok so its been a couple of years, I figure I'm ready to start a build thread now... but DON'T RUSH ME ALREADY I can't handle the immense peer pressure and scrutiny :lolcry: This is Benji. I picked him up a little while ago for the missus to drive, so she can stop thrashing the snot out of mine and I can take it off the road for re-incarnation. Collecting it was a mission in itself... details here. So at this point it had cut springs, rooted shocks, and several missing wheel studs. These problems have been rectified with nice new stock replacements for the time being. I binned the cooked head and threw another reco one on (which I had in the shed, h…

I am looking for the man I brought this car off to ask some questions about the work done on the engine. I brought this car in 2010 from a man in Pimpama, QLD. The car had no plates and looked like it does in this picture. I am trying to find more information on what work they had done to the engine. Any help would be great. Cheers, Jamie

Its probably not the done thing any more, but I still like to keep a build thread on my rides so I remember what I did to them along the journey! So introducing my latest acquistion, a very clean 1978 MX32 Cressida. I wanted to get something I could put the kids in the back of, that had power steering and aircon, and was generally going to be a comfortable family cruiser. This popped up on ebay for quite a bit of cash, and was all the way over in Albany WA. But it looked immaculate and I fell in love. Spoke with the owners and they had bought it from a car yard, who had bought it from the original owner, an old bloke who had handed in his licence. They were g…

Hey guys after staking out the forums for the last couple of months and drooling over some of these ke70's and the likes I've decided to dip into the scene and buy my own. I picked it up over the weekend, just your regular 84' with the standard 4k and 5 speed box. (The colour is a lot more cream than white) It runs like an absolute dream with only one small bit of rust just above the rear bumper. The engine will be kept maintained and stock for the time being until my current plans are out of the way, any ideas are welcome seeing as this is my first real attempt at making a car my own. :) The upholstery will need a fair bit of TLC as it is filled with fun …

Hey Everyone, I've had my KE70 for quite a while as most of you may know and it's been through a few small transformations since I've owned it, but it's still quite a simple Corolla. At the moment it is sort of an ongoing daily project. Here's a short history of what's happened to the car starting a little bit before I owned it - I hope you enjoy it: My uncle worked for a young woman who was given the car by her elderly relative. The young lady couldn't drive manual so the car sat there for a while without any use. My uncle saw it in the unused state and asked what she was doing with it and she said that she was planning to send it to the wreckers. My uncle…

Gday hello! I'm Jake. I live in a LiteAce van. It's my palace. Bought the bus for $400 last year. Coat of paint, set of wheels, bull bar and a tow pack and the old girl looks overrated. I've got 2 inch blocks in.the.rear, wound down the front so it sits awesome. Bitches be lovin it. On the back is a rear bar from a KE55. And chome roof racks from a bluebird wagon. To add some shiny. Inside is a dual battery kit, 1000w power inverter, solar inverter with a 700x600 panel mounted to the racks. I've got a bed, 2 sets of draws, a sink and a fridge. For sound I have a Sony H.U with.kicker 6s up front, Sony 6x9s in the back, Fusion 5 inch splits in the roof (amped, Fusion), a…

This is a story of a family heirloom so to speak. This Seca was first bought by my dad as a cheap run around back in 2003. After upgrading to a new Seca in 2005, my brother bought it. After which, it quickly fell into disrepair as the interior and engine were being neglected. This became even more evident after sitting stagnant for a year in my bro's garage. After ditching my old KE70 "Stan", I was due for an upgrade. So, as this Seca had already been owned by both of the other men in my family, it was only right for it to become mine. And so it did, for the choice sum of $25O. Although I was quickly to find out that the starter motor, master/slave clutch and alte…
