Hey guys. New here. So i pick up an old rolla wagon from an old bloke last week. Car is pretty clean. He owned it since new. Anyway, plan for the car is to service it, get it running well (its a little rough at idle and splutters now and then under load, thats the reason I came here. To learn how to do fix it) and daily it. Plan after that is to lower it a little and get some nice wheels.

Picked up this thing for around 2k, really can't remember. Stock 4k 4spd Rings are fried pretty much, but still runs, brand new clutch before I bought it and country pack suspension. Original factory paint, interior and exterior are almost perfect, just a few little bumps from dings from trolleys and that, will get them fixed up. First things are first, new motor, it will have to be a 4k untill I have all my points back next year, so if you know any going around, let me know. Ordered for the springs to be reset, and for a pair of coils for the front. Will keep this updated as it progresses.

Hi guys. This my 89 rolla 16v. Got it bout 5 years. Started pimping it hardcore for a year now. Its about 50% complete. Doing most of the stuff myself at home. I am far from completion tho. Wil be dropping in a 20v very soon. Wil post more pics.

And guess what? I finally own one. I picked up this little KE from a mate's brother. It comes with a very healthy 5k, 5 speed. Plans are: - Change the color to dark cherry red - A set of old school wheel with white wall - Change the interior - Fix up bit and pieces.

Hey guys, it's been a few years since iv been on here. I sold my last ke70 about a year and a half ago and bought a r31 skyline. It was a great car but I got over the bigness of it and there's wasn't much else to do to it once I had finished with it. I sold it and started looking for a ke70. I was going to do a black top 4age conversion. I kept looking for sometime but couldn't find the right one, until a ae71 popped up. I went and had a look at it and was immaculate except for the rear guards and abit of rust around the boot seal. It had no rego and needed a blue slip. I took these photos on the streets of Thailand in 2011 with the intent to post em on Rollaclub. This station wagon was sitting 10 metres from the Thai/Burmese border so I couldn't get any more photo's. Military dudes with guns kinda freaked me out. Hi guys, I'm looking for a bit of guidance more than anything from some of you that have been there and done it all in the Corolla scene. I'm new to Oz and old school Japanese motors, we don't get too many back home. I've set my sights on a Corolla from Circa 75-80 but don't know too much about what I should be looking for in terms of the usual mechanical issues and rust spots etc....any help here would be great. I own a factory built corolla Sportivo 2001, there were only 110 made and it is said that only 100 made it here to Australia. I own number 69/110. My knowledge and skills around cars is about 90% as I still learn something everyday. I decided to join this forum as I am going to rebuild my engine and may need some advise form the experts. Hey everyone been lurkin on the forums for a while now and decided to start a build thread for my ke55. The plans are pretty simple; Sand it back and fix all the rust and total open door respray (not certain on what colour yet, any ideas?) Worked 4k/5k. Specs will be, Knife edge crank, bored 60thou, 12.8 to 1 compresion ratio, custom grind cam, smallport head, (they make more power) 350 holley, custom made extractors with 2'' straight through with a spintek muffler and a lightened fly wheel. Recently aquired this gem from albury nsw sight unseen and drove it all the way home (ballarat Victoria) without it skipping a beat and went about getting it up to road worthy spec and making it my own. And then after getting it road worthy fitted some reset leafs I had acquired and some choppies till I get my corona struts sorted and chucked on a set of ssr formula stars I had holding up my ke25 Next on the list of things to do is swap out the terrible standard vinyl seats for some velour ma61 items and mod the sump on this sucker and chuck her in

So.... I picked up this old girl a couple days ago, 1984 KE70, 90,000km on the clock with a years rego for $500! She's pretty tidy but didn't make the 2 hour drive home without breaking down hah. She hasn't been driven in well over six months because grandma died and the family didn't want to touch her. Basically from what I can gather she just needs a new thermostat and battery at this stage and I need to figure out why shes idling so low despite winding it up so until I figure that out I'm neutral d-dropping from sets of lights haha.. Hi, Just wanted to show you my KE10, it's in Malta (EU) and is a 4-door version. I own the car for 3 years now and currently respraying it. When I bought the KE10 it was in reasonable condition but sprayed 3-4 times over the original paint, causing some strange effects over the years. I am the second owner of the car.

Hi, i bought a ke20 last week with lots of parts and a 2tg.. the 2tg is going in my other ride, and the plan was to scrap the body, but its too damn stright and nice to scrap! so I'm going to make a mean looking rolla instead! pics! when i bought the car, the seller was going to move to another country.. got it home finally Just mocked it up, no front suspention... mocking up stuff, 9x16 inch rims in front, 225/45-16 streetslicks 265 wide streetslicks, goign to widen the rims 5-10 cm :D i also have a te27 ducktail that i will use... thinking of putting a worked 3k in there and i have shortened front supstenion and shrotened rear shocks..

So I have recently began prospecting Tijuana Mexico for some classic Japanese cars. I live in San Diego and now am looking into importing cars from Mexico mostly interested in Datsun, Toyota and some Honda. I began to network with some car heads down south and have come to meet a group that meets frequently. The cars are not the best but I hope to befriend many of these guys in hopes of buying their cars from them and bringing them to CA. Here are two cars in which I came across today August 8th, 2015. I am also looking into how to export these shells or rolling chassis to other countries perhaps Europe.

I'll give you a bit of a run down on what I know about it and since found out about it body wise and what my plans are and have been for about 5 years since I bought it! Well time to stat a build log for the KE20 I'm about to start. Plan is to paint it a complete cherry Red as the engine bay already is, creamy white interior (trying to source original), black carpets. Specs: Black Top ITB's 16v 7A-GE Hilux Diff with a 3.9 diff head (or around'a'bouts) Mazda RX7 Front and Rear callipers Car all ready has the hilux diff in it, which is about 50mm shorter overall than standard so can put some nice dish rims on the back. Maybe some SSH meshies or Volk Rays

Hey all, I'm from Toowoomba QLD and i just acquired a '79 KE38 wagon from a friend. and after seeing some pics of other peoples rides it has me hooked. i can't wait to fix it up. bit rough around the edges but not to bad. rust is the major problem(have a mig welder now so can fix that) will need a new tail gate and a few trim parts but all in all it's mostly there. looking at do a full 4k rebuild with either Solex or Weber carbs, cam upgrade and a few other mods love NA motors. such a fun car. my 4yr old loves it. doesn't like going in our 02 VX Berlina any more. any one who has info or parts please pm me.. can't wait to get this bad boy looking overrated.

Ciao from Athens! I want to share some pics of my red diva with the community. She was bought a couple of years ago from a mariner who drove her rarely and was stored most of the time in his garage. She has about 130.000 km on speedo, the interior and engine bay are in like new condition, completely rust free wheels, engine bay, around the chassis and inside the trunk.. Maintenance wise, just the basic stuff: upon delivery I replaced the oils, filters, spark plugs, contact points, rear diff oil, fitted new tyres and some water cooling lines which looked not good to the eye and to the touch (more like a preventive action). Hi everyone. New here. My name's Steve and this is my first corolla. I've heard a few times over the years that these cars are special. Now I own one I see why. This one cost me $750 and had no rear muffler and a smashed windscreen, which is getting fixed Thursday, but even the few drives I've had in it have me smiling and wanting to get it back to its best. The body is rough with a few dents and scrapes etc but there is no rust to speak of and it's mechanically great at this point. G'day everyone, New to the forum and thought id share my KE70 that I inherited from my Wifes late Aunty. She purchased it brand new from the local Toyota dealer and daily drove it during the 80's and 90's. Towards the end of her driving career she had a few accidents in it and gave up her license 10yrs ago. It sat in her garage up until I was lucky enough to be given it. I've owned it for 3yrs and daily drove it for 12months before parking it up and forgetting about it. After a couple years of not using it, it got a little neglected and the usual rust etc has got worse and its time to give it some TLC. I'll keep this thread updated when I do more work to it …
