Hey fellow mates. I was just wanting to ask a question about the braces under the bonnet and boot lid and how the adhesive the factory uses to fuse or glue the two together. It is like a hard porus crappy adhesive that had just crumbled away. I want to know if I could you sikaflex or something to make a new join between the two ( Brace and Boot lid etc ) and if that would be good enough for years and years? Or what you have used and what you recommend.

Hey all, Has anyone ever weighed their KE20. I was assuming mine would weigh similar to the kerb weight listed in my manual, to my surprise my ke20 sedan with cage, race seat, no carpet, no hood lining, with half a tank of fuel weighed in at 938kg. I don't understand why it is so heavy. It has a 3k, 4 spd, banjo diff. alloy wheels, etc. what do you guys think Andrew

Hey I'm new here, Anyways I have just purchased a ke70 with a 5 speed box in it and am planning on transferring the engine to a 16 valve 4age as my daily driver. well my question is: is it possible to swap the bell housing on the k50 so it able to bolt up to 4age? yes i know it is not the strongest but its really smooth and will do the job for the moment anyway. Any advice would be appreciated, Thanks

Got a 32/36 on a 3T-C and noticed that when the secondary throttle is opening (after half throttle) the secondary accelerator pump jet doesn’t squirt fuel. Primary pump jet is sweet. Seems to be a slight stumble between primary and secondary and thought this would be why. Got 50/60 idle jets which I think should be about right. So yeah is the secondary accelerator pump jet supposed to work on these things? Help appreciated.

I've noticed that my early ke30 has this plate underneath the inner rear corner of the drivers seat (the passenger seat has it too) F - is facing to the front A - is a nut thats welded or something to the plate. Bit like a forgotten after thought cause the nut is tapped but there's no hole through the metal for a bolt to go through. The seat belts (the clasp end) in my '30 are bolted to the seat itself, i know the later '30's and '55's are bolted to the floor behind the seats. Is this the spot where they bolt to ? The dimple thing is where the inner rear corner of the seat bolts into. Pardon the dodgy letters in the picture but my ever so friendly "borrowers" …

Hi all Is there many people out there who have fitted 17in wheels on a ke-70? Ive managed to do it, and love the look, but just wondering how many "modifications" youve had to make. Me and my brother had to go to town with an angle grinder and hammer haha. Anyway. some pics (if they work): Cheers, Jordan.

Hey guys, I got a really stupid question. Basically i got my car (a 3k) tuned a little while ago and it was running pretty good, after a couple of weeks it started to run dodgey....like it stalls everytime i stop after a bit of racey driving, would have big flat spots under heavy throttle use, and kinda misfires. So earlier today the oil light had taken a little bit longer to turn off after starting the car, so i put about 200ml's of oil in and all of a sudden it's running fairly decent again. Does the oil affect engine performance that much? I know that the head (even after being rebuilt) has worn valve guides, so that's why my oil dissappears everytime i start the car, …

Hay, i got a 77' ke30 and I'm wondering what to do with the grille, ive sprayed it all and its looks a thousand times better, but still looks like its missing something. Hey guys, I am looking for some information or previous member experiences with KE30 swaybars as I have recently fitted a 3SGE beams into my corolla and the original one does not fit as it doesn't clear the front of the sump. Is there any suitable replacements or any others that would fit ? Or is it easier for me to just get one made ? Cheers Phil

Hey all just curious I'm looking at putting a 3sge into my ta22 and adding a turbo my q is has anyone used a 3sge with a large turbo, i know lag will be an issue but will the 3sge still have reasonable pick up till the turbo spools up or should i just get a turbo that spools up straight away, I'm looking around the 225 - 200rwkw mark so if i have a turbo that only spools up later it will be a bit better to handle with every day conditions right?. and i don't want to be running crazy amounts of boost too as it will be a daily. any ideas, suggestions etc will be awesome matt

I actually used the search function and found this. http://www.rollaclub.com/board/index.php?s...17948&st=15 I'm about to buy a pump for the KE50 with a 3kc, build date 2/77. will a 78 to 83 pump work? I thought all k pumps would be pretty much the same. ebay and the above thread have told me otherwise. there are freakin millions of k engine pumps. Maybe I should pull mine off first to use as a sample! does any one have a list of all the differences?
