Just got my hands on a ke11 rolla on the (07/07/07.....might be lucky :y: ), this is my first rolla build with plans to turn it into a daily/hillclimb with a ca18de. Haven't done a whole yet just sussing the body work, housing the motor and box and getting all the parts together at the moment. I ended up using a ke55 tunnel, it hosts the box nicely with it out the car. Not to sure on how to go about making engine mount templates, any ideas are appriciated i would concider anything. will have pics up shortly keep an eye out James

I'm working on my dash. I wanted some thing LIKE this just were the small gages are. this is what i had and wanted the gages to face me more eg on an angle. so what I'm going to do is cut some pool pipe 560mm that the gages fit very sung in. wile i was going to do this i thought i would fix my first cup i made. so i cut the pipe at an angle (i just guessed the angle i needed) and all 3 in there started glassing.. i just put a little hot glue to hold the cups.. and i decided that the gages should be spreed out more rather than bunched up. i added the plastic i cut off the end to the middle bits to make it stronger. and made shore the gages lo…

The car is a '73 TA22, 5 speed, rebuilt hi comp 13t, custom quad throttle bodies, haltech ecu, red everthing!, the outside of the car is being taken care of taken care of at the moment in a body shop and will be resprayed. This has been my baby for 5 years. 100k on it so far and there's an engine light that just won't turn off. I treat her rough through the roads, all the swirvy turns in Mountainy PA have a lot of 'fun' potential for me. I don't drive reckless where anyone else would be able to get hurt though, and I do abide by the speed limit (5-10 over at most) and a clean driving record shows this. Anyways. Hey guys thought i would do a thread on my current project, it has changed a little over the past couple of months due to serveral reasons. Originally the plan was simple 4age, stick 2 1g turbos on it and have some fun till i blew stuff up then start again. Well after looking for about 3 month trying to find a "decent price"(keeping in mind that i bought the car for $300) for a gearbox i came across something a little strange. Well we got our engine dropped off today so we have started pulling her apart. going to turbo the engine a bit later in the year and also once we have rebuilt the bottom end. Hey guys, Ive been checking out all the other members rides and decided to start a thread on my project. My AE82 CS sedan with the boring old 4A-C (It's not that bad i can think of worse). Basically i've wanted to clean it up then wanted to get rid of it and now i've decided to keep it (any corollas better than no corolla.) A few details 09/1988 Corolla CS Sedan 5 speed manual White, blue and soon to mix a bit of red in temporarily. Original driveline 330 000 kms and still going strong. Yeah i decided to upgrade a little bit, the power is fun! stock as a rock. besides the stereo. So far its got new dizzy cap, leads, HKS panel Filter, the Kenwood Head unit, 6" splits and 6x9's. And ive got a boost gauge in there just so i could see how much she's getting after years. 9-9.5. which is good :D whadda ya reckon....rollaclub worthy or should i take it down :P

Hey guy's pretty new to these forums as I just recently brought a AE82 1986 SECA. I brought it from my dads friend who owns Toyo Spares / Wreckers up sort of near lilydale. Brought the car for $3k, which included 7 months rego + name transfer fee's, RWC and everything that needed to be done for that (new windscreen, front right light, wipers + wiper washers etc) Engine has been reconditioned and had $2.5k spent on it... currently has 15,000km on it the body has 269,000km. Well as of today there are four cars in my stable. I found this car a few streets away from my house. Picked up my first car just recently in South Aus :) Done 80,000 original km's with full service history. Couple of spots of bubble rust (which I plan on getting restored), cracked dash and an unusual yellow paint area on the front panels are pretty much the worst things on the whole. I am the 3rd owner. 1st was an older gentleman who only did around 5000 kms per year and the 2nd being a younger chick who pretty much did bugger all aswell. So its all nice and neat. well as things have finally worked themselves out, i'll be taking hold of a 5K in the next few week, i just need to pick it up. :D the 3K in my 20 has nothing wrong with it, but i feel she needs some more oomph. the obvious choice would be putting the 5K into the 20, but $-wise it isn't so great. so after some very quick thinking i will be putting the 5K into my 55, along with a k50 box i just pulled out from the parts car. now i'll be left with a mechanically sound 4K and 4spd box, and it'd be a waste to see it sitting in the shed for any lengths of time, so i will be putting it into my 20. the only thing i can think of not fitting are the gear-stick hole, a…

"Oh no not another thread", Yes its me again. This is my Datsun 1200 ute thats has more Toyota parts than Datsun. Upgraded to a 4AGE 20V, T50 Box and Microtech all from my 2 door KE30 and it already had KE30 front struts, LCA, Tie rod ends and steering arms. More pics as i go, but this was 4 hours work so far including pulling out the old engine. Engine mounts on the Xmember will be next and by the looks of it its going to take abit of fabrication work.

I've been working on this one for the last 3 months, its certainly different from most of the Jap Classics i usually play with. Its been fun to have a so called " Aussie Muscle Car ", still not as nice to drive as an old Toyota.

okay. so basically i ended up with this car because dad grabbed it up for his own use when his motor bike was stolen. then basically i bought it off him because he no longer had a use for it and i figured it was a good first car. when we got the car it looked pretty bad. the passenger side front quarter was black from when the previous owner ran into a pole and had to have it replaced. so we got out the old spray can and silvered it so that it wasnt as bad of an eye sore. so this is basically what it looked like before. and from that point basically there was alot that needed to be done. we got a new bonnet as the one on it was sort of caved in and all. and we de…

the motor is 60000ks old since rebuild it has a ported head reground cam jetted carby and aftermarket coil king springs and gt gas shocks... i am fairly happy with it all ive done since i bought it 2 weeks ago is rims and the rear muffler... not that is muffles much as this thing is damn loud and i like it :) overall its a clean ae71 except for a little rust but hey its 24 years old... let me no what you think!!!

Over the last two weeks my KE20 has gone under a transformation, becoming the nanna spec ride I've always wanted. I bought it just over 3 months ago these were the basic specs when I first got it. Hey guys. lurking around these forums for a while and i thought id post up a pic of the car i jsut bought. bought it last saturday with RWC and rego. exactly a week later (would of been in the hour) of driving it out of the driveway from where i bought it... well you can see what happened. i was stationary. was stopped for about 5 seconds waiting in a line of traffic. suddenly a big bang. the lady behind me didnt see me at all (sun in eyes) and didnt even get the chance to touch the brakes.
