so on the weekend me and my oldman are goin to pick up a 265 and a 3speed g/box from one of his mates houses free of charge ;) asoon as he said about it i went into a frenzy and decided i want to turbo it and chuck it in a corolla for a burnout/fun car what are your thoughts on this? and from my experiaence of my dads chysler addiction i kno they go very very well for a straight six! anyone kno what the hardest part of doing this would be? I'm guessing it will be modding the trans tunnel? would appreciate opinions and suggestions. cheers scott. images thanks to google.

Got ourselves another 'Rolla today, but this one is for Josh's younger brother, Joel. We scored it off a guy who had it sitting on his farm in Craigieburn. It's a December-1974 Aussie-built KE30 2-Door Sedan in Blue. It has a 3K and 4-speed (won't start because of wiring issues), and we found out it originally had a 3K-H in it according to the firewall tag, but was swapped out for a standard 3K in it now. It is an "L" edition (as badged - not too sure what it means). It has black leather seats and cards, black carpet, black dash, and other cool bits and two spare head gaskets. Well like every story starts off, i was looking for a car. We had just sold the pajero and i wanted something to have as a daily driver as my corolla is just receiving far too much police attention with its mods it has. Found a couple cars on carsales.com i wanted to go and look at, so i made some phone calls and organised to go look at them all on a saturday. hey guys, pretty new here, thought i might start a thread for my 4age build. picked up this little girl from the wreckers with a genuine 106xxx on the clock, saved her from the crusher :) pics are pretty shit camera settings were all gay from christmas shooting, but i will upload some more shortly full factory trim so far, only mods being suede dished steering wheel locked diff and suspension my makita :D cleaned up the rims and some body work, but it was fairly clean nearly ready for 4age conversion got most big bits: 4age t50 loom and ecu tailshaft organised only need crossmember and then the 4k can come out cheers james

Just thought I'd start a thread here rather than updating in the KE20 members section. If you look in that thread you will see photo's of were I'm up to. Basically 1974 KE20 4age, T50 box, Lancer diff and painted in Blood orange 2pack. The bodyshell, door and boot jambs, engine bay and underside have all been painted. In the engine bay we tried to hide as much as possible, as I wanted the bay to be very smooth and clean. The driveline is all in and the car is at my mechanic getting wired up and a few other things done. I painted the bootlid last week, so it is ready to be fitted. Hey everyone, my names Josh and this is my 1976 KE30 Corolla. Been a member here a little while so i thought id post up my pride and joy.. I've had the car for almost 3 months now. Standard 3k i havnt changed much at all really just full service, changed water pump, new front brake pads and rebuilt alternator. I own a green AE112 corolla levin i got stock about six months ago. i swapped my dad my ae112 ascent for it :wink: first thing that had to be done to it was a stereo, kenwood double din tv/dvd headunit, fusion 6" splits, fusion 6 1/2" 3 ways in the parcel tray, fusion 4channel 900watt amp, fusion 12" powerplant 1300watt sub, fusion 1000watt monoblock amp. the stereo cranks its good for close to 130db.. more recent mods 2 1/4" cat back exhaust, 17"by7" advanti mazeR wheels and super low king spring.. hey guys I bought myself a project it is a 1979 Toyota Corona with a 18rc 2lt a GANNY CAR(as my dad calls it :D ), it has a four speed which is the w40 box and what dad can gather it has a 3.9:1 diff ratio, the interior is in excellent condition except for back parcel shelf, tear on top of back seats and driver seat springs ar prob gone but it will be ok :(, the engine bay is a bit bad but with a good wash and a bit of work it will come up good, ok there is alot of rust but it is all fixable rust so ive got a lot of work to do and I'm sure my welding skills will get better :hmm: My aim is to get it on full rego so i can drive it around as daily if not ill club re…

Hey everybody, thought some of you may take interest in my current project. I've fitted a centrepoint injection throttlebody from an EA f@lcon :P to the standard manifold, controlled by a DIY megasquirtII v3 EFI computer. This involved also fitting extra coolant and air intake temperature sensors, a return line to the fuel tank, and a high pressure pump. I also used the ECU to run my shift light and thermo fan, among other things. Having got this working I fitted a wideband oxygen sensor to the exhaust so the ECU can self tune. Well as of today there are four cars in my stable. I found this car a few streets away from my house. It was on the day my sister was moving house and I thought it would be handy if i had a wagon to transport her crap. Well its been sitting there for months so I thought I'd make an offer. A few pics of my new 55 i bought of a friend recently, 1980 KE55 Toyota Corolla 4k 3speed auto extractors and exhaust (only mods) 52,000km Very little rust (2 small spots on the edge of the boot lid) Very straight Interior is very clean with a few small scratches on the passengers door card, and 1 small crack on the dash. Future Mods: Lowering throwing around a bit of paint and getting some detail under the engine bay. 32/36 weber and a cam. Fit my personalised plates (OKE 055) The only mark on the interior!

Hey guys and gals so it seems i have found myself another rolla :) its a 1979 ke55 cs sedan which has been sitting in a hay shed for the last 12-18 months as the owners had no use for it. Its a 4 speed manual and stock as a rock right down to the factory philips tape deck, owners manuals and service manuals, even the original number plates from 1979 :) plans are pretty much tidy it up and keep it as a daily driver so far. Background story: I bought this ke20 in 2006 in below average condition and have spent the last three years fixing rust, stripping the entire under body, the interior and exterior paint. The floor pan, engine bay and under body were coated in por15, while the exterior received a bare metal respray. Picked up my first car just recently in South Aus :) Done 80,000 original km's with full service history. Couple of spots of bubble rust (which I plan on getting restored), cracked dash and an unusual yellow paint area on the front panels are pretty much the worst things on the whole. Hey all, I'm new to rolla club and thought ide post up my toyota publica... bought it from a guy in robina for pretty cheap with reg as he was leaving the country to live in nz or something.... anyways.. 3k engine with 130XXX k's ke10 front end conversion still drum brakes all round ( suprisingly good) bolt on spacers converted to 4x100 I'm pretty sure as it has fwd offset 15 inch lenso's on it resprayed monza red (originally white) not many plans for it as of yet... probably lower it a tad and some fender mirrors... Ladies and Gentlemen... I bought this potential beast up for $300 and it drives, it has a 5 speed in it and it is the same build year as my birth year! (1981) Needless to say I can't wait to start on it. It's a KE55 Corolla CS It has a couple of rust spots on replaceable parts... but my main work is on the rear windscreen. It has rust spots in the bottom corners, which is common on the Corollas, as are underneath the taillights.
