So it's a Tumut Blue KE70 sedan with the regular 4A-GE engine conversion. It also features some suspension modifications, including front coilovers, stiffer rear springs, adjustable shock absorbers, some larger sway bars, AJPS adjustable panhard rod and also an aluminium fuel cell in the boot, which will make it's way under the boot at a later stage. Some of you may remember me, I spent a lot of time here when i was in my mid-teens. It's been a couple of years since I've had a Corolla, but since then I've branched out into bigger and better things. In particular an RT72 Corona, which is being handed down to me by my dad's uncle. This is my Ke30 2 door sedan, its my project been working on it for about a month now. i live in melbourne, Found this little beauty out in the country in victoria, called the guy got all the info and fell in love with it. so i borrowed a mates tandem trailer for a day and went and picked it up, Been a money pit like all old cars but its a passion as you all know, When i got it had a 3K and it wasn't running, missing some basic parts such as starter motor and battery. hey guys here is my thread for my new car. picked up this ae93 sx seca last week as a replacement for the ae82. its fairly standard with the only mods being extractors, 2" exhaust, low king springs and tinted windows. also has a decent headunit and better speakers inside. don't really have any plans for it other than wheels and a front lip but lets see how long that lasts haha. here are a few bad pics of it.

After six months of hunting for a project car I have finally got one. My plan is to restore this car to a presentable condition which I like the look and feel of. This will be my second car so it will be built in order to enjoy the experience of driving it. I have limited experience working on cars but have managed to pick up some skills and knowledge through my studies. I am an undergrad Mechanical engineering student in the fourth year of my degree. Hey all, Figured I'd throw up a build thread for this with the hopes it'll keep me motivated and on track (lol) Bought this back in Jul'15 and drove it back home from QLD. I'll be honest, it was a pretty scary drive! The suspension was set up for track use with oversized sway bars, strut & piller supports and the dampers set to the hardest setting. Hey everyone, I picked this up after having sold my old rolla (ke50) a while ago and driving the old mans valiant in between. Its actually quite tidy considering. I bought it pretty much as is so the only things done so far is new Motul 4100 oil and ngk iridium spark plugs. I been racing it for about 2 years or more not sure... Dad did stuff to the engine not sure but its for full roll cage everything has been taken out like carpet lining most the dash no back seat and its got electric water pump recently put in... Well i have had this AE71 Since january 2006 and not alot has happened with it. It was bought for me to use in motorkhana's and khanacross's. Bought it with a rooted diff and a complete auto ae71 with it for the use of its diff. So in the time i have had them i have...Changed diffs over, stripped the parts car for useful pieces and sent it off to rolla heaven, Stripped un needed interior bits out of it to make it uber lightweight, sound deadener removed. I have been working on my Peanut for the past few months bit by bits and so far I'm %75 done. My car came with an extra rebuilt 3K motor when I purchased the car. I was going to put 4AGE in it, but decided at the meantime since money right now is pretty tight the rebuilt 3K would sufice fro now. The car came with a K40 4speed tranny, but I was lucky enough to get a K50 5speed tranny from a Starlet at a local salvage yard. The K50 bolts right in with no modifications needed. I am also putting in a dual Mikuni 40s sidedraft setup with my stock motor. I also have a K series header, but I am having clearance issues because of the steering box on the way. I am doing up my ae71, it has a lock diff, webber carbie, 13inch hot wire wheels, 5 speed manual, 86 struts in the front, ford springs in the rear & the paint is can matte black. The interior was very shit! They guy i got it from had just spray can black the whole dash and all the plastics with out taking them out of the car and tried to do the carpet and roof in shit black carpet. Goes in for RWCert first check in the morning. Also paying the reg after work. Bought it off a guy who inherited it when his mother passed away 18 months ago. The furthest his mum ever drove it was from Leongatha to Kyneton in 1995. She bought it brand new in 1985. Since I blew the motor in my car (AE71 daily see sig) this will get me around while I respray it and put the good motor in. Time to drive like a Grandma;) .
