Date: January 19th 2014 Time: About 1am Where: M4 Cruising west bound What happens when a Corolla Sportivo is cruising at 110km per hour down the M4 (legal Limit) then all of a sudden a fox runs out of know where in front of the corolla? Well you might be felling sorry for the fox although the stupid fox ran out in front of the corolla. The corolla did try to slow down although there was no time. Result Check Out the pictures Below.

So in true tradition, one car is not enough for us. My cousin is selling his T18 and I have decided to buy it. I have included some pictures which you may have seen before on Andrew's threads. I would like to know what you guys think I can to do make this car hot without spending too much money  Looks like we won't have to spend any money on the body as it's in great nick and no rust is visible. The only problem right at the moment is that the drivers seat is broken and need re welind or something. Anywho, your feedback good or bad is appreciated!!! Cheers Bron

Hey guys, very soon to get my P Plates and wanted a little project to waste away time until I get them. And then obviously it will be an ongoing thing. I bought this for $1200 from a priest down south. It has hardly any rust, and if so. It's only surface. Tiny scrape on the back right panel which has started to rust but I shall be fixing soon. I'm putting a sound system in today. Which is JVC deck which I got for free. CD/MP3 Player and remote. And two 400w Xplod's for the back and 130w xPlods for the front. Looking for some Coilovers to put in soon. And I'm painting the stockies black leaving the ring chrome. Tell me what you guys think. Here is the only picture I h…

my first car I bought was none other than an 87 corolla, and she goes pretty good for her age aye I'm interested on going for a cruise sometime in June, email me @ [email protected] if ur interested in coming the location of the cruise is Norah Heads, which is just past the entrance on new south wales's central coast and has some fantastic scenery, a carpark excellent for photoshoots which displays the ocean in the background, and there is also an 100 year old lighthouse which would be great to have in the background of a photo with ur car. Just tell me if your interested aye, its a pretty good place, is there anyone else out there with an 87 rolla, if s…

Hi all, i'm new to the site and just wanted to share my new project. I recently bought a Ke26 wagon with a 5k 4 speed. I got it as a daily but seeing how small it is and how little it weighs, i'm thinking of a good motor for it for the quarter mile. I,ve got a Buick 3.8 5 speed, or a starfire 4, Aussie 4 speed . i can get either for nothing and would turbo the starfire if that was chosen. Just wondered what you guys reckon? Cheers :)

Hey Guys, Finally got my hands on a Corolla, so stoked about it. Well stoked about everything except the colour :( From memory i think it as an 1995 AE112R. Not 100% sure on that though. I'm looking forward to modding it a little bit, I'm not going to do that much to it though, I'm saving up to modify a 1st Gen Celica, or a old school corolla, I'm still trying to decide. lol. The only thing that i am going to do to the car for now is replace the speakers, and add a sub in the boot. but that is only when i get the money. Anyways here are the pics :D

Hi everyone, My name is Gordon MacK, I've been in the car and drift scene in Victoria, Aus for quite some time now. My mate decided that his first car wasn't good enough for him and I took it off his hands. I already own an FC RX7 with 350rwhp, I'm aiming for the little Rolla to have 100-150rwhp by the time I'm finished modifying it. I'd like to know absolutely everything about this car, anything you can tell me from the photos would be great. I'm currently buying parts to get her road worthy, once she's on the road she will be modified to be driftable. As all early Rollas are meant to be lol. Anyway, the pics: To do: Fit passenger fro…

Hi all, I have a 1989 F reg AE92 GTi-16 with the tvis 4age. I'm 14 and the engine is coming out in a month for an overhaul that I'll be doing myself at home to get some of the horses back. Its done 81k miles and I have purchased a TRD 20% uprated Heavy-Duty Clutch, Ashley Exhaust System and a GREEN Power-Flow Twin Cone air-filter, which will all hopefully get me to 140BHP There is a lot of rust on the offside front arch and the nearside rear arch and on the struts inside the car, but I will be getting it sorted soon and will then have it resprayed in white. I have already replaced the tailgate with a smoothed over tailgate and I have soldered the cut wires and…

Hey there guys, i only just joined this forum but have been looking around for a while. Anyway, my name is Justin, i live in Tassie and i own a Sprinter. I bought her last year sometime ( i think? ) and paid $1900. Pretty good price considering various taxes these days... Anyway, at first i was fairly happy with her, but i slowly got pissed off with the suspension so i chucked in some AJPS 5 kilo front and 4 kilo rear springs, along with some KYB excel-g shocks. This has made her handle a shedload better, but I'm starting to find it to soft. Gonna be grabbing some 8 and 6 rates soon, but that is still a little way off. I also found the stock brakes frustrating, s…

figured i'd throw my rig up here had an AE86 but it was hard to be "individual" so i turfed that and went back to my first love being the 70 :D used a lot of parts out of the 86 to build a reasonable package to start off with. it had coilovers, LSD, XR4's and MKII's and powered by a JDM 16v, T50, extractors and zorst. not long after being finished a JDM front end came up so i had to have that, included lights, grill and the lower beaver panel. i threw on some chrome T18 bumpers to complete the look. got bored with that pretty quick so its been off the road now for a while getting a CA18DET  pretty much wanted to kee pthe old school look and feel …

Just though I would make this thread to share my car with everyone. A couple of months ago I purchased my first car after searching for a while. It seems to be a very honest car with minimal rust and a few modifications. I plan to keep the car as a daily for now and just tidy it up a bit, maybe lower the back a little and add a few of my own touches to the car. So, the specs Engine 4A-C backed by a t50, mild cam, mild head work, re jetted carby, extractors and 2inch exhaust, extreme clutch, short shifter Suspension low king springs all round, short stroke shocks, whiteline front and rear sway bars and adjustable panhard, front strut brace, cusco castor bra…

Any one out there know where I can get these? mine have some rust and I thought it may be easier to replace them rather than fix them. Is this a good idea??? Or are they like pitman arms. hens teeth come to mind. Let me know if you know of any. May also be interested in buying a complete body if the price is right. Cheers. :hmm: Ps No photos yet.

Hi all fellow Rolla nuts. This is Woz’s dad, Josh’s Poppa (ewt). My 67 KE10 was one of the first, if not the first off the ship from Japan. I've had it since it was about 8 months old, and now I have time I want to restore it to original condition. A little bit on the history :- The car has a genuine 68,000 miles on the clock. It was on blocks in my garage for well over 20 years, and Woz and his brother pulled it out, fitted new coil and plugs, and she fired up, running on 20 year old petrol!!! Let's see a modern car do that !!!!! Drivers door on it is from a KE11-12 and doesn't match as the interior handles are different. It’s in good conditio…

this is my 1970 ke11 bought it about 12 months ago, when i first bought it, it was stock and had the 12" stellies and was one owner with its origional 3k motor and weak 4 speed i left it standard for about 4 months and drove it around but got sick of how slow and stock it was so first i put 13x6 mags on it heres a pic then i decided a 4kc motor and 5 speed gear box would make it go better so we fitted one and now it goes way better and i realised that the drums were a little under sized so i fitted ke38 discs on the front pics of motor it then had a respray in the origional whate and all dents were removed and in the process no rust was found at all combining…

thought i would start a topic on my 2 daily drivers and what i have been doing to them. not so much a project thread but more like an ongoing maintenance log type thing. i bought another 28/36 DCD weber on ebay last week. i got it yesterday, rebuilt it and now it is on the warm 5k in my ke15 to replace the worn out one that i was running. this carb came off a 1500GT Mk1 cortina. the last DCD was from a fiat 1500 cabriolet i think. anyway the thing runs better than it has for a long time. just running the factory 1500GT cortina jetting so far. it is amazing how much throttle spindle wear stuffs with the way your car runs. last week i changed the diff i…
