G'day all, this is my new project which I have only had for a couple of days. It's a stock 1980 ke55 SE sedan 4k Auto (slug-o-matic) which I picked up for $350 unregistered. My plans are to put in a 5-speed box and fix a couple of minor issues, such as the drivers guard has had a small hit and the front bumper needs to be straightened slightly. Other then that it's quite a tidy example of this model. Anway I know your all dying to see some pics so here she is. :)

Gday, New to this forum just thought that I would post up a couple of pics of my ride, Its an AE82 Twincam 184,000 kilometres on the engine, when I bought it it had been used for a run around car for about 10 years and was always kept outside so it was really faded, all that I have done is put some king low springs in and some KYB's thats about it. Hi there . just got my first corolla a 1975 KE35 hardtop. picked it up for $650 and drove it for 8 hours straight to get it home. shes got the 4k engine. but a four speed manual. the pics are attached if you want to comment.[ needing some advise on where to start in getting the little beast going a bit better. got some extracters and exhaust but thats about it. also would like to improve handling. what sort of price range is a 4age coversion worth?. is there any thing else could possibly look at? also what are some parts that are same as other models as this isn't the easiest thing to get parts for. any places that are best to look.

SO here it is. 1982 KE70 4k with a 4ke EFI setup, SC12 supercharger running at 8-10 PSI. Electronic ignition, Microtech D5 ECU. custom piping belts, pullys whatever.. not sure. 5 speed. fully sick pod filter. Fuel setup is standard tank, lift pump into swirl pot, into a a bigger pumper then to motor lol. Car has 2 x jellybean mags, 2x hotwires. all new tyres, lowered on cutties lol. This is my 1981 Ke70 Corolla, that ill slowely be doing up, Just done a few little things to it so far, Will be getting a respray In a Dark Green colour. With 17-18'' Chrome wheels (Id get them engineered), & then do up the interior & then the mechanical side of things. Its going to be a slow project, As I'm saving as I'm doing it, & Its got heaps of rego, & It dosnt look to bad now. I also put a Nice exhuast on since photo's. Enjoy. Hey thought I'd start a thread for my newest Rolla which I picked up a few weeks ago off a young chick around the corner from mine. Basically its a 1983 AE71 CS Corolla auto. I am the third owner and it has done 187,000km. Bronze in colour, with gold pinstripes. Really good paint, some of it has been resprayed in the past. Pretty straight body, small dent in bonnet just with the usual rust in the rear. Interior is overrated condition tan vinyl/wool, pretty comfy and the seats are alot more supportive than the KE20 and KE30 seats I'm used to. Of course being and AE71 it has the 4AC 1.6-litre which has alot more poke than a K engine, and the auto just makes it p…

hey guys! i need your help! i am about to buy a ke30 auto as a project and am looking to do the works to it. i think i have most of my ideas worked out except the engine. i have been offered a couple of engines and can't decide what to do. I'm not really worried about performance as such but more reliability and particularly an efi motor. the first option is an ca18de (i can always update by whacking a turbo on it later) or second option is a 1.6l worked motor (built for racing and would need to be de-tuned to make it street legal (also needs haltech computer and rings done)) from a nissan exa. Basically i started with a stocko early 70 that previous owner had painted panda style with cans, It even had a big alloy t-wing on the back,Yeew. Bought this off a retiree a couple of weeks ago. He bought it in 1990 and has babied it since then. When we found it, the van had been sitting in the garage for months. Came with thousands of dollars in maintenance receipts. Poor guy got ripped off bad by his mechanic. Initial plans are to fit quad headlights and subsequent front guards, wheels, flare the guards, tint windows, new windscreen, straighten bumpers a bit and add some fixed back seats. Hope you like.

Hey guys, just picked up my ke70 today. It's in pretty shabby condition and needs some work, got rust eating through and all sorts of little shit bits.
