Hey Guys, Picked myself up a new dd yesterday. '83 st141. Running the stock 2sc but its been rebuilt 30k ago apparently. Already done a few mods to her. Put a set of Ma61 mags on an i stuck my old twinky wheel from my keto in too. Doesn't have a tacho, but instead rocking the huge clock. I have a 5" autometer tacho i could put in, but it seems a little over the top :/ The previous owner has put ma70 struts and brakes into the car, but its running non captive king springs of unknown model so I'm looking to replace those. i already had a thread for this project, but there was way to many different plans... 1970 ke20 the car is getting beated atm, then will paint it matte grey will be pretty fussy as I'm a spraypainter by trade. , red interior, want a real cool style like hotrod style ;) will be my daily. 4k 4 speed. be super low will roll stockies or hubbies. when i picked it up. got it blasted. fitting up before beating starting to beat body, fitted my new plates, look sweet! so happy with the way the plates look. doesnt need much filler, pretty straight.

Hey all, Ive had a few posts on here. Just wanted to post up some more pics of some slight modifications ive done to make the corolla more pleasing to my eyes. I went to the local lowes home improvement store and picked up well bought them out of their Plasti-Dip. Not sure if you guys have seen or heard of this stuff not many people have. hi all, just pick up my new ke20. just sold the first one i had as it was a one owner car and wayyy to clean to cut up. here is the thing i love ke20's and love rotaries so I'm going to combined the two together to build my dream car. i have spoken to a number of people who engineer cars and they are happy to pass the car with a 12a turbo set up as long as the brakes/suspension and a few other safety requirements are met. i do want a street car but something that i can race as well. apart from free riding riding stand up jet skis professionally i really enjoy a good night at the drags. i will keep you all posted with pics threw out the build but here is t…

Hey all, Long time no post, but I'm back in a rolla after about 2 years on the dark-side. I recently purchased a KE70 as a slow project for myself and brother / weekend car for myself. Breakdown: 1984 slant front Toyota White recent home spray job ( Pretty good job) 5 speed 300k's sloppy diff Shot carby interior not in the best shape Not drivable in current condition Reasonable price The Plan: Fix it up nice and cleanly. Some nice wheels, Suspension and brakes. RWC then Rego! Not keen on going way over the top like my last rolla. Hi RollaClub, I'm Andy and i recently bought my first car! Its a 1983 KE70. Its stock as a rock with a 4k and 4 speed. I bought this car intending to put it on club plates and when i turn 18 it will be my daily. Hey guys, I picked this up back in 2011 from a guy that could never get it running right which turned out to be a boost cut defender on the map sensor line (ha it's map sensor only), after sitting in a mates yard for a while I decided to register it but had it hoon impounded 2 days later (damn you 1j skids). It's a grande Cressida that has had a Jzx front cut put in it including the digital dash, factory intercooler etc, it makes for an awesome daily driver and a good sleeper. Not sure on plans at this stage.

I've been toying with the idea of building this car and swapping the engine but I'm still undecided. Torn between the idea of power and keeping things original. So after selling my Stagea i needed a new daily driver.. I bought a 1978 Mazda 323 Bugeye needing minimal work. Did a few mods, Blew it up and then needed another daily while i fix it.. So i bought this! 1.6 Manual converted. 151000ks. Full nugget spec with total neglect, Weldy choppies etc shitbox I had it for about 2 days before hating it so broke out the spanners. Doing plugs discovered 3 different kinds of plug and burnt out points. Wound timing back to an acceptable level while i was there. So i've had a ke70 1.3 SR coupe (jdm fastback 4k auto, 6" diff) since 2001 which was a daily + drift hack for many years running a 3tgte, w57 and kaaz 7.5" 2way in it's final guise (2013). well thought it was about time i posted some details of my new project.... AW11 MR2 its an 86 n/a version thats had an ae92 bigport (9.4:1) engine fitted with aw11 s/c gear. still runs the stock box which has closer ratios than the s/c box so with the extra power from the compression and the closer ratios, this thing leaves stock superchargers for dead :) am awaiting TRD shocks from japan, then there will be TRD springs. also water to air intercooler and a l/h vent for pod filter intake. the sound deadnign has been removed and with the loud exhaust, i keep imagining I'm in a group B car :)

i'm starting something new,i'm going to create a Sti, now likely in power wise,but in styling. i will hit the junk yards up for a wreaked sti hood and wing. i alrdy have a suppiler for the wheels but to me they don't look to much like Sti wheels, so if anybody can help me with that, i whould apperiate it. not sure if i will custom fit sti lights on the car.... i'll keep posting updates and soon get a digital cam.... oh yeah the car that i will be working on for this project... a 1983 toyota corolla. 4AGE engine swap coming soon... :D

geoff scored me a good ke30 last week, id been toying with the idea of 4x4 or club car but decided to stop mucking about and just build a clean show car instead, ive a fair idea what i'll be doing but was hoping for a little input as to what motoring mags and show judges are looking for i plan to build what i want but i hope to end up with something that puts me at a photo shoot with one of those beeuutifull girls you see draped over cars haha (and I'm not a sterio person so unless someone out there is bored and rich thats not getting done)

just lookig for some prices on a 4a or sr20 and came across this website http://www.japparts.com.au they have brand new 4y engines that look identical to the k's. they also have elect dizzies that look like they would fit a k engine. i've looked in the threads for suitable diffs for a worked 4k, hilux and commodore diffs are apparently to heavy, what about old mazda 626 or something cheap like that, could it take a floggin all day?
