Hey everyone! I'm buying a AE82 Corolla this week... it's got a few mods, and it doesn't look too bad, but I'd like to do more to it. I'm new in Darwin, I'm actually new in Australia, I'm from South Africa, so I don't know much about this whole country... and was hoping that I can learn some new things from this site seeing as I'm now a Corolla owner :P: It's got a 2.5" cat back with canon, standard 4-2-1 extractors, pod filter, Monza racing seats, AE86 front lip modified to suit the AE82, 17" wheels, 2X MTX 12" subs, 2 amps, splits, and a Kenwood head unit. Just updated this post so that I don't look like a complete ass  Will hopefully be upda…

Its power is pretty good for a car thats under the ton, 910kgs and runs 85kw @ FWs. It has a high and a low boost switch (standard switch), but not sure what boost it runs on low or high, but would love to find out. It is running a CT12 turbo, which i have no clue what rate that is (only worked on cousins CT26 in GT4). I would also like to no what the best boost range would be on the turbo for boost controller? Righto, joining the KE70 club as of tonight :D Just bough myself a bone stock KE70 Sedan that's in very good condition but a few things that need to be attended too. Is meant to be a project car and I'm also gonna drive it during wintertime this year when its snowy and slippery, so the 4K-C should keep up :P Might end up putting a 4A-GE into it cause that would be a lot of fun but I'm not sure i can handle all the technical stuff that comes with that yet.

We joked around saying it will be overrated an all shiny. Hey guys, well i have been trawling these forums for a long time as they provide a valuable source of info about corolla's , I brought this car in May this year for $500 off a 60yr old lady who had owned it for the last 15yrs, it had the pink slip done (dodgey will get to it later) all it needed was a renewal and insurance cost me $800 all up. So i drove it around for a while (still on L's) and then one day i decided i'd take the wheels off it and clean them, while they were off i thought i'd check the disc pads and shoes. And what a fright i got, it was metal on metal on the front and there was 1mm of shoe left on the rears, and they passed it? dodgy bastards…

I then started looking at an AL25 conversion but was put off by the driveline so my next option was an adub and well this one just fell on my feet. It's an aw10 but the 3a has been removed and the front guards are missing, I do however have another front end and a ton of spares, will be pulling the interior out and cleaning it all up and changing some of it out for the supercharged stuff at work.
