Well its time that i showed lola a little bit of love after a year and a half of neglect. So she is get a new set of rims and bolt on flears and a new bonnet from a 75 model and going to start on fixing some little bits of rust

gday everyone, this is my ke16 I semi rebuilt, painted etc. It's got a rebuilt 4k with 7ke fuel injection, crane cams electric distributor and coil, 5speed, tacho. We put it on the dyno last friday and had huge back fire type flutters out of the throttle body, since running the motor in over the last two weeks it hasn't been reving well at all, so i thought a tune would sought things out but the owner of the dyno seems to think a lobe on the cam has been chewed off. We measured the valve lift and it looks like my rebuild could of been a rip off, I asked for a tighe cam with .423 valve lift and we measured around .25. The cam comes out tomorrow for…

I bought this ke20 off ebay, most of you have seen it already. Its mods are: Bigport 4age T50 Locked ke20 diff Haltech Computer Accord seats 16 inch Simmons B45 wheels (8 inch front and 9 inch rear!) Ta22 struts, brakes and LCA Autometer gauges Ford TB and custom intake Basically I'm going to use this car as a daily till i get my ke35 on the road then we will see what happens. It has some problems: brake Master cylinder is stuffed and too small for the ta22 calipers T50 is hard to down shift into 2nd and 3rd gears. Wires need a tidy up and same with the interior. Picked up the KE55 for $0 the other day. Massive rust and front end damage. Have so far killed all the rust and have straightened the front. Have got chrome bumpers to stick on once painted. Need some design ideas as ive got a blank canvas to work with!!

Hi I'm stuart and this is my ke 11 corolla. Paid $1300 for it and have done a lot of work on it over the last 10 months or so purchased it off my boss and the mods he had done were. 5 k 5 speed extractors twin 1 1/2" su`s custom strut brace ke 20 front end scheel seats some mods i have done. 2" exhaust battery in boot electric fuel pump new fuel lines thermo fan saas harnesses much much much more and thanks to webers 4x48 for all his help too. her are some pics more to come.

Hey as some of you would know i just bought Nick Z's Orange coupe. So I just thought i would start a thread so i can remember how she was when i started and what ive done to her. Ok well i bought the car for $300 and it NEEDS: New Rear Wheel Bearings, Surface rust removed from the body, Section of the spare tyre well cut out and a new piece welded in, New Front left Brake hose, 2 New re-caps for the front, Few minor rattles and noises to be fixed and then i will get it registered. i will also be changing all the fluids etc etc. Once that is over and done with i want to start modifying Her heres a list of things that i would like to do: Re-Trim the …

Arrived just an hour ago on a truck from Victoria. On initial drive and inspection i have no doubt that the car has only travelled 48,000miles. Interior is very good, only two small holes in the drivers seat, all other seats, door trims, roof lining and rubber floor coverings are perfect. All door and boot rubbers are excellent and the paintwork is pretty much all original. The front apron has had a small bump and an ordinary repair, but thats easily fixed. Engine and box are perfect and the car drives like new. All brightwork is excellent so to are all the lenses. Considering i bought the car sight unseen ( pics only ) i'm very happy! Hello all i have finally got some pics of my work in progress , about february the 3K in my KE25 had just about had enough So i got myself a 16V 4AGE with T50 , it was all setup for RWD (plenum , thermostat , etc) and ripped out the 3K and got to work . First up me and my Dad put the engine in its place with the AE71 mounts that it came with , no go , the mounts were too wide for the brackets on the x-member so we had to get started on making up some custom ones these are the mounts the me & Dad came up with , made from 6mm steel plate . we used MDF board to get the shape of the mount pieces and used them as a template on the 6mm steel , cu…

most of u will remember this advertised on here about a month ago for sale. all ive done since buying it is put in std seats sold the race ones and sold the mags and put my white walls on. also did the xt130 corona brake and strut conversion. also fitted venetian and eyelids for head lights for bit of old school touch. the stuff that was already done was engine conversion and cut down 28 spline commodore diff. so i really didnt have to much to do which i like, as i need to spend some time on my cortina as have plans of it running decent times, and this is just my daily driver and the g/fs shopping car. have plans of going to the drags at willowbank in a couple of weeks …

Hey all. This is my '84 ae71 1.6 with loads of power oozing from a 3 speed auto! lol :dance: Was owned by an old grandma that couldnt drive anymore and liked to touch park! Its planned to be my daily driver and also weekend hillclimb and khana car just for a bit of fun :)

This is my thread which has now been copied over for a fifth time, so if it doesnt make sense that's why. I wanted a good all round package that has limited compramises, here's what I wanted to improve: power, torque, braking power, cornering ability, predictability, stereo, looks, reliability, rigidity all while still having enough room to still fit my bike in the back. Basicly I wanted a daily driver that equiped well enough to go on a circuit should I choose to. Also this has had the suspension tuned to eliminate oversteering, this is not for drifting! I purchased this little beast off Ed (SLO-055) earlier this week, sadly only had a couple of times to drive it this week due to working, but hell its got some mumbo! Coupla' specs AW11 4A-GZE FC 'cooler SAAS bucket 16 inch Lenso'y looking wheels. etc, etc. Plans are to maybe chuck the 15psi pulley on for a bit before taking the engine out and putting it into my KE70. Then putting my KE70 4K into this and use as a daily or pass it onto the girlfriend. Love the thing though, puts a smile on my face :2thumbs: More pictures later this weekend.

Hello there, this seems to be the most active reservoir of KE30 knowledge on the net that I have found so far and I do intend to utilize this knowledge as much as I can. Thank you all for the help you have so far given through your posts, and hopefully will continue to give. Well after months of searching for my first car, i have found it!!! It's a very rusty Corolla Liftback, but I love it with the rust included!!!. It's a great car even if the rust covers all the back part of the car :2thumbs:. Hey guys, i thought as there is a bit of a shortage of ke10's i would make a thread about my project. I'm 15 years old and bought my first car about three weeks ago, the 1969 KE10 Corolla cost me $1000 came running, spare 4k angine, 3 sets of taillights includin the ones that were on it, last set of tail light lenses made by toyota still its the buble wrap, few spare indicater lights and lenses and more. It has a bit of rust in the front guards behind the wheel on eachside which will be gettin cut out holpfully next week. The bonnet it came with, has a dint/crease on the top left corner and a fair amount of rust, is fixable but will need alot of time and money..…

Hey guys New to the site thought id post up my corolla its pretty bland Go it for free off my grandma ;) , the engine is pretty much stock 1300cc i think its a 3K not much up on that ill have to read through the wiki faq, runs well though. well.. i am selling my Lanos and i wanted something new to play around with so i got a: 1988 Carolla AE82 Sedan Ugly Sky Blue LOL 5 Speed newly reconditioned motor new clutch new cv's looks nothing special atm.. BUT the wheels from my Lanos are going on it next weekend, as well as the steering wheel i hope, as well as an exhaust in the very near future and a stereo, oh so many plans.. these are the wheels on my old baby i'm guessing it will be a slow process but it will get there eventually.. got no pics of the Rolla yet but i will before and after the wheels..

Hey guys this is my ke55 that I purcashed about a year ago featuring a CA18DET, Microtech, Hilux Diff and Nice Paint Job, I got a few more mods that I want to do as the engine features a T25g and runs about 14psi making a very quick car but I'd love to chuck on a t28 just to try break it into the 12's, thought i'd share it with the forum, great tight car and handles great, cheers Kurt

well i jsut got an ae71 wagon. i thought it might kind of fit in here so i may aswell post it up, well except the semi flashy paintwork. its all stock except for the paint and those sub boxes that came in the boot. I'm just planning to replace a few parts and then get it up for rego and build it up as a nice daily driver as i get the money. the 4ac sounds pretty beefy with no muffler or air filter, so I'm not sure of how much if a downgrade it will be from my twincam seca. :)

Its an ae101r hatch with just the standard 4afe motor Since I Bought it back in April a little work has been done to it including an exedy sports heavy duty clutch, a set of alloys, a tacho (since i couldnt find a wrecker with a tacho cluster) and an upgraded sound system.
