Hello Rollaclub people, see a few familiar names on here! Thought I'd register and get my foot in the door. This is my Daihatsu Charmant A35, I'm sure you'll be familiar with the name as in terms of parts it is mechanically identical to the KE70. It has a 4K engine and 5 speed manual box just the same, it just looks different. They're a pretty obscure car worldwide, Daihatsu marketed it as an executive car back in the early 80s and as expected didn't really sell many. They faded into obscurity quite fast! I bought this 1970 KE 11 about 7 years ago from the original owner. Only had about 49,000 miles its now done 53,000, it came with original purchase papers, owners manuals and sales brochure. The car had spent its whole life at the same address always garaged. Except for cleaning the engine bay, repainting the wheels and adding the Castrol Green stripes the car is pretty much as i bought it. Except for a small repair to the left rear quarter all the paint is original so to is all the interior. In all my time playing with KE1# series Corollas i have never seen a cleaner more original one!! :lol:

hey guys i just brought my self a ke55 rolla for $400 and its supre clean its had a fresh respray and all the interia is retrimmed its just an all round neat car, it also runs well and has about 2rwk... meh I'm happy with it :lol:

It took me about a year to find a decent one for a resonable price and here she is the body is near perfect, the young lady i bought it off of had a small accident damaging the left fender. The steering is a bit sloppy not too sure if the crash caused it, or old age. Gday All! here is our 1967 KE10 4 door Sedan. Dad has owned it since new when it was his first car and was brough over to Oz from Fiji in 1969/70. It was very much our daily car up until about 1994 when mum bought a falcon and dad a ke70 so this one could be retired to be his project.Fast forward 12 years and the car basically hasn moved an inch, hahaha. so much for projects but now with more time on hand we're going to finally bring it back to stock within a year (yeah right!). Hi all, I think its about time I posted this up! I bought my Twincam about a year ago now and have been slowly cleaning it up. I found it on the net and decided as its only a couple of burbs away I might as well have a look, the bloke who had it had $2600 on it when I first spotted it but this time he had $1600 on it! Hello everyone Ive been working on this for about 4 weeks now ive done everything and i mean everything my self as i live in the out back the closes town is 400kms away and then its just a tiny town called Yowah Opal fields (Queensland Austraila) . I hope you like what i have done with the face lift as i needed to fix it becouse i hit a kangroo in it and almost wrote it off and i throught if I'm going to fix it my self why not change the colour and looks of it. and i used it at a freinds wedding on the weekend.

This is the KE25 i bought of Sharpie (Rob) about a week ago (pic is after i gave it a cut + polish and painted some bits). Its got a Bigport 3K with a 2 speed toyoglide :y: Plans are: Firstly manual conversion, then it will be my daily for a while while i turbo the KE70 Then later on, ill give it a respray and chuck a mild 5K in it, or maybe a 7K-E with the injection :y:

the project has started for my 1984 ae86 sprinter. first things first, the front had to be fixed up due to a little bit of a love tap that saw me bend the rail, and dam was it hard to find a good front end! (thanks Vu) she is gettin a full spray job in toyota maroon again with black bumpers and bonnet (fully sik jdm style) and sitting at home is a gze bottom end, with 20 valve top end conversion waiting to slip in, will be a few months b4 that happens though. got a few pics of the restoration process for ya p.s, if theres anyone with a t50 for sale in vic, pls pm me

I'm a new member here. Just thought I'd stick my new beast up. It's my brand new 1988 TOYOTA COROLLA AE95R SR5. I'm the third owner and the first 2 owners were very caring. The interior is pretty much perfect and apart from the bonnet and a spot on the roof the paint is perfect and it goes good and all that. Well, I started this project a little while ago after picking up a rust-free shell from Trendact. Bloody cheap too. It had NO interior except the dash and steering wheel and door trims. My first plan was to throw a 4age at it. But finances stood in the way of that. Then I was going to freshwn up the 4k (needed a rebuild anyway). But then I found a nice 5k to wack in it. I've been told that it's had a stage 2 cam thrown in, and some head work done. I've already change the box to a k50. I'm going to make a complete custom boot install. And of course a respray. Recently i bought an ae71 panel van with a 4ac 1.6 motor. the car has only done 69000 and was owned by a granny since new. The car came with new tyres half a tank of fuel and was in roadworthy cond. i paid 100 bucks for it!! :'( since, ive ripped out the 4 speed n put in a t-50, carpeted the back, new speco air filter as shown in pic, put a set of 16s on her and put in a stez. Hey, just got this AE71 wagon for $250 got it for the 4ac that will go into the other ae71 wagon (my mothers) so be left with a AE71 manual wagon needing a motor smile.gif body is ok bit of rust in usual spots - bonnet, behind wheel arches in the back, and little bit in the door and around the windows- nothing major, interior is all there window support on RHR is f@$ked usual rusting out it seems. so motor will come out go into the other wagon then I'm left with a wagon to play with it seems smile.gif time for a 4age i say. the twins !
