i just bought a trueno digital gauge cluster and proud to have it, but a problem has come up, i'm not sure if i can convert/install this gauge cluster. has anyone ever put a trueno gauges into there AE71 (or any corolla)? i really need help with this cause my project STI wont be shit without it (i think so). anyone help please.

I'm alvin from philippines..19yrs old..i had my ke70 since high school...back then it still had its stock 4k motor...modified it and still didnt squeeze enough.. i changed d ngne to 2tg and for only a week, i destroyed the ngne. so i had to use the soch version, 2t. i need ur help guys with how to modify the t50, is it possible to change or upgrade it? what differential can i use for my ke70? its hard to find lsd here in my plce, i don't know what would be bolt on on this car.. help me awt, gotta kip up with hondas, sumhow... the engine itself has been modified even if its a soch only... pnp works, hi-rise headrs..and the very difficult to tune, solex side dr…

hey guys, was just reading thread "new rims on my ke70" and noticed that his left hand rear wheel was rubbing an the guard, my ke70 has been lowered and it does the same, the wheels all have the same off set, is it from the five link rear end, is there a way to fix it cause it is slowy cutting into the tyre, besides rolling the guard. :y:

sorry if there is a post asking this somewhere else, but all i could see is a 4A question! well I'm gettin a ke35 coupe with a 2t (slight head work etc) and a t50! and am concidering supercharging it so i don't have to do internal work! have talked to a mechanic at work who knows a guy who has done this, and reakons i could do it fair easy! i work at a holden dealer so i can get almost any car parts at trade price or cheaper throught different places, which will help cos i wont have a huge budget! anyways i was wondering what comments or tips people may have when i decide to do it! planning to maybe drift or race it occasionally! thanks Lee

Hi All I recently had a drifting accident which has prompted me to get a new diff that happens to have been welded! But it is a t18 diff out of an te72 rolla or celica. Ive heard although the ae71's and the te72 both run the t50 gear boxes because the te72's are older the number of output splines in the gear box are diifferent? Any one know if this is true? If this is not true i could just run the t18 tail shaft with no probs to my gear box. If it is true is there a way to use the stock ae71 tailshaft and connect it to the t18 diff? i've heard that spot welding at certain points in the chassis helps stiffen the car. does anyone have info on the proper procedure for this? i tried searching the net but can't find any. btw, i'm putting together a 74 te27 corolla so the original body is really old. that's why i'm looking for ways to stiffen the chassis. without resorting to the installation of a roll cage. thanks

I am a new here and just want to know what I can do to my car. I have an 88' 4a-ge ae82 rolla. it is a twin cam red top 16v 4a-ge. All that has been done to the engine is a pod filter. It also has a 6" tip for the exhaust. no performance just a mean sound. I just want to know how I can the most performance out of the car with the least price, whether I try extractors, injectors or an safc computer to tune my stock computer. Here are some pictures. it is a bit dirty, i take it fishing on dirt roads and tear it up a bit. through the sand sometimes also :jamie:

how is a little bit of camber achived on a ke10??? is there any sort of Lower control arm that can give it camber that is a straight fit or will it require custom stuff?? and what sway bar will fit in the front out of another car? will a ke20 one fit or something of ke20 length will a rear swaybar from something else fit either any help appreciated but i don't really want to spend much cash cheers james

ever since the willowbank bank run there has been a sqeek from the front of my car.it picks up as you go faster and if ya stab the brakes quickly it goes away but as soon as ya back off it starts again. Ive had a look nothing looks wrong.anyone got any idea's :y:

Hi, I plan to finally be installing my 4K motor into my KE30 4dr Rolla soon. But While in the process of removing the 4K out of the car I tore the mounts. So to fit the 4K into my KE30 will I need to get new mounts or will the ones on my 3K motor in the car now fit the new 4K? As by looking at them they look slightly different so I don't know which ones to use. As apparently the KE30 was a bit slimer than other newer corollas. A wrecker near me also only has KE55 mounts so will these fit in if I can't use the 3K ones as there different? Cameron

hey guys I just purchased a 1986 Corolla se sedan and a wanted to take it for a good old fashion hills cruise. I have every as standard including the 1.3L engine but other than engine (which i want to keep for now), what mods do i need to do to push its limits eg. sway bar, shocks and stuff like that? Hi, Just going through a KE70 pollution manual I have and it talks about a air injection (AI) system. These push cool air into your exhaust under pressure and helps promote the oxidization of CO and HC in the exhaust. So I was wondering if anyone has one of these they can take photos off or if in the ipswich area has one for give away? As I am interested for a possible power increasing project not a decreasing one like most pollution gear is..lol Cameron P.S. it was on the 3T-C, 1X corona motor, or the celica 21R-C motor and the 5M-E crown motor.

Steering rack ends in the AE71 need replacing. I can't find any info on doing this on the 'net - usually my search skills are beyond immediate reproach, even if not so once subjected to detailled and relentless scrutiny ... Hi, For my boosted rolla I am going to use a SC14. I bought it off a bloke who was going to use it on his KE55 but decide not to and it is like new and I got it CHEAP as so no loss. BUT I noticed he has put the SU carby mount on well what I believe is the boost out side of the turbo..So my main question is will a supercharger work in reverse? I have add a pic below of the SC14 to show how it has been done. But I will have to change this back to get it on my 5K Can see below the SC14 outlet doesnt even fit on...mm going to need a replacement one or a custom job. I just pulled my NOISY K60 apart today to find the front main bearing VERY rough and the front countershaft bearing rough and the countershaft galled up. It's an oddball; not like the K50, K51s. The front retainer is different from all the others I've seen, and all the ones in the books. I need another countershaft, and maybe another retainer and input shaft as these are damaged slightly Shipping would be high to the states I imagine, so donations are being accepted.... :wink: Also; if anyone could tell me exactly what a K60 g'box is, please let me know.

I need some quad throttle bodies and stacks for my 4age 16 valve bigport. All I see is 20v ones and the adapter plate. Is there no production quads for a 16 valve? Can someone give me the inside diameter of one of these 20v throttle bodies? cheers -BiGs

I've had to cut some of the chassis rail out from under the battery tray to address some rust issues (KE25). Any recommendations about welders in Adelaide? Preferably in the Prospect area if possible ... although, realistically, I'll go wherever I need to to get it done. cheers, Slapper

hey guys i am looking to replace all the window and door seals on my ke1* project which i have recently started as it is leaking water chronically into the car .. my problem is that clark rubber can pretty much supply me with all rubbers except front and rear windows .. anybody know where i can find these seals ?? anybody that people on here have used before .. i am in NSW sydney area anbd would prefer to find somebody that will freight from other states or is in NSW .. Hi, As the title says I found out last night reading my KE1X aircon manual. If the KE1X car was fitted with factory aircon they also installed a factory electric fuel pump in the boot. So for some reason on the KE1X with aircon they ditched the diaphragm pump and used an electric one in the boot. Below is 2 scans of the manual showing the fuel pump exploded view and the number and part list page showing how the number matches up from the exploded view to fuel pump. Also notice above on the fuel pump exploded view page the image outline of the motor showing how the fuel line goes to a bracket and on that there is a regulator mounted and then it goes to the…

What are peoples thoughts on aftermarket cams in a 20V? It seems the biggest size one can go while retaining VVT is 264. Just trying to get a few opinions as to either get 264cams and keep VVT or scrap vvt and go larger? Cheers
