hey guys here is my thread for my new car. picked up this ae93 sx seca last week as a replacement for the ae82. its fairly standard with the only mods being extractors, 2" exhaust, low king springs and tinted windows. also has a decent headunit and better speakers inside. don't really have any plans for it other than wheels and a front lip but lets see how long that lasts haha. here are a few bad pics of it.

okay lads, seeing as ive got some spare time on my hands i thought i would post up my latest project. it is a track only te72 (t-18 for those of you playing at home). its stock as a rock, body is relatively tidy with only some minor rust around the hatch seal and a bit of bog they had fallen out of the front guard from a previous repair. never mind though as i have a spare pair of front guards and a heap of other spares that came with the car. guards will get flared anyway so thats not an issue. the 3t and box are in overrated condition and are from a S2 (a few years younger). my plans are to turbo the 3t as they are a very tough motor and respond well to…

my 1992 MX83 Grande ebay special Bought the car off ebay with suspected cracked/warped head. turned out to be a warped head with a bent valve. The boyfriend and myself decided to fully rebuild the motor including new bearings, rings, welsh plugs, reconditioned head ($$$), spark plugs, timing belt, water pump, oil & fuel filter, thermostat and rad cap, custom intake piping with pod and fully detailed engine (hours of cleaning and painting). the car is in pretty impressive condition with few imperfections in the body with the main eye sore being the front bar. the steering wheel is pretty had it though with the top all chewed up and the drivers seat showing sign…

Well, I was trying to start cutting down on my cars. Hence getting rid of the sr20 ke36. But I've keeping my eyes open for a cheap ke20 ever since I got rid of my old one. Well just scored my self a white ke20 for a good price. Needs a little bit of work but so do most ke20's. Pick it up over the weekend. Will upload some pics when I pick it up.

Right so my Sprinter needs some paint and panel to get it up to where I would like it. I have spent far too much on the running gear for it to be sitting in the shed while I get that sorted. I have been looking for a neat AE71/KE70 to put the running gear into. I have had a couple of close ones where I was just a little too slow with the coin but maybe it is all for the best. Picked this up during the week, local car with only 141,000km. Little bit of surface rust in a couple of places but the normal spots that are bad for rust in these are clear. Will have to track down a cross member and pedal box but other than that I it should be a goer. I gave it a wash and a…

Well, I went and finally got myself an little baby rolla. And a properly special one at that! I picked this up last night from Somerset, and drove it back with Ben. Drives like a dream for a 40 year old car! It has a 5k motor in it as it sits at the moment, bolted to a pretty tight 5 speed box. The diff whines like a whore with an infection though! Everything works, except the Alternator (well, it works enough that you can drive with the lights on, or the wipers, but not both. Will fix asap) Its got some rust, its got some dents, but it's going to get fixed up soon enough. Within the next 3 months! Piccies.. can't wait to start!

Hey there, My names Jordan. I've been meaning to this on here for a while now. This is my second corolla (i have to stop being addicted). I bought it off a guy locally about 6 or more months ago. I got lucky as i wasn't looking for long till i found the Ke26 i wanted :). It has a 4K atm but am looking to upgrade to a mildly worked 5K  Has a 5 speed box which i find very handy. Jap diff. Things i have done: Satin black RA40 Celica rims running 195/60 R14 tyres all round. Engine change from 3K to 4K (my first engine change). Rust repairs, however i have not fully finished and am unsatisfied with my job. So i will be restarting and maybe practice weldi…

yet another find for me out in the sticks :) I saw this car advertised on a local facebook sales page earlier in the year for $500, and after not being able to find the page again assumed it had been sold. long story short the supposed buyer wasn't interested in doing any repairs after inspecting it (has a few patches of rust) so the owner pmd me and offered it to me for $150 because she was moving overseas and needed it gone, so I'm the new proud owner :) its a 1977 ke30 4 door auto, rust in usual places, interior is half shagged, smells of mice and old people, but it runs and drives......but doesn't stop as the brakes need work :/ so far I have stripped the interior, cl…

I got this KE55 from my brother, he has had it in his farm shed for 8 years west of Gympie in Qld. A mate of ours overheated it driving out ther 8 years ago and left it there. My bro rebuilt the 4K with new pistons and the usual stuff. It's been run but not driven. So he started the body work and lost interest and it sat half rubbed back since. I finally bullied him into relinquishing it to me to make into a hillclimber and new home for an SXE10 Beams 3sge and 6MT that I had. As "purchased". The new engine with a 1UZ throttle body adapted to remove the stupid half drive by wire setup. We decided to get the panel work done first and re…

I've upgraded from my AE82 4AC CS sedan P.O.S to this little beauty. Bought in Newcastle a few weeks ago, it was in the June floods. Didn't run and the problem was slightly unknown but came down to the alternator and/or starter motor. Water came up close to the stereo inside the car, which has caused a bit of surface rust, it will have rust protection carried out in the coming weeks to stop any more problems Vehicle: 1990 Series I Toyota Corolla AE93 SX Hatch. Engine: AW11 MR2 4agze, standard boost and tmic, Microtech LT8s ECU. Mods: 2" mandrel mild steel exhaust, rear performance muffler, 3"ish tip and pod filter at the moment. (Airbox bought off ebay is …

I am about to get stuck into my Suzota build, or since I'm on the Toyota site should that be a Toyzuki????????? This is a project I though of doing a lot of years ago & just never got around to it. I have a LWB Suzuki Sierra chassis & drive lines & I am about to put a Corolla station wagon onto it. :D It will be an Individually Constructed Vehicle for rego purposes which means about 2k in Engineering fees but ya get that. 1.6 Engine & Auto will be donated from a Vitara (so far), unless you lads can think of a Viable yota alternative, still open to suggestions on that. Will be a long build due to having to feed my 3 snot goblins as well..

After looking around for a cheap daily for a while this popped up. AE82 4 door sedan running a stock but cleaned up 4AC to 3 speed auto. Some random wheels with king springs all round (found the receipt for $360!). I'm giving a budget build a bit of a crack with this one - I picked her up for $200, bargain. The paint is great, interior and motor need a little love, but it runs and drives. Happy with the purchase all in all. Running tally (will be updated as time goes on. Hey all, this is my Ke26 panel-van as I got it, My plans are to run a 4age setup with a T series driveline, ae86 coilovers, IRS conversion. The whole idea behind this build is to be able to drive it to the track, race it and drive it home. Planning on fabricating some bracing throughout the body as she is a loose old girl. This is my first progress post, almost finished stripping the car, already started ordering parts for the 4age conversion ( Jordanrolla 4age kit ) TE27 steering arms for ae86 suspension, all new bolts, ke27 front grille and bezels

hey everyone i'm new to the forum this is my second AE82 but this one that i have just acquired is not stock like the first. it has a 4agze and lsd gearbox out of a AE101 levin and i believe AE92 disc brakes, it also has had a light blue respray that has a purple tint in the light. the interior has been re-trimmed in blue and white and it has gt gauges. after driving it i just had to have it, its such a little rocket and the engine noise is second to none. it has stock Toyota alloys and standard tires that light up at any hint of throttle its a joy to drive. here are some pics... thanks for checking it out

Hey guys thought I better make a thread for my KE30 as I have alot planned for her. Its a 1978 KE30 CS Corolla, which I bought off Fusion on here. Its done a genuine 84,000km with proof and is in generally good condition. However as you may know Ross (Fusion) had put a lot of work into the engine conversion so she isn't very granny spec anymore lol. Basic specs are as follows 1978 KE30 CS Corolla 4 door sedan 3TC 1.8 litre single-cam four which has: - Modified KE30 engine cross member - New waterpump - New leads - New sparkplugs - New rocker cover gasket and a head gasket (I think) - Complete flush out - Emission controls removed - 2" Hurri…

Hi guys and gals, I would like to introduce you to Betsy, a 1975 KE30 4 door with no working engine. I purchased her on the 15.08.13. She looked rather straight and upon inspection I could not find any significant rust spots so I organised for the sellers dad (a tow truck driver) to drop her off at my door and handed over the money. I will be updating this post as often as I can, but unfortunately I have a new house and a lot of other jobs to deal with so just gotta remember "SLOW AND STEADY WINS THE RACE" (but I just want her done NOW). The plans are to strip her down repair any rust found, paint, full interior, and then drop a SR20DET into her with a R31 cut…
