hey guys,I'm new to the forum and I'm from nz thought id put this up so you guys can give me some tips for the build,so i brought it at the start of the year it had a few mods like 5k engine,bucket seats,zona bridgestone wheels,king springs and a few other things. my plans are to get it road legal for now and then look at some bigger things. anyway heres some pics for you,any tips/help would be great.

hey guys my name is Tristan i'm from SA, I have just picked myself up my first corolla, a clean ke55 sedan. Its nice tidy car bought from an old lady :jamie:. The paint work on the car is almost perfect and there is hardly any rust, the car has only done 130000kms. At the moment it is completely stock, but i have some very big plans for it. i have bought a ca18det engine and gearbox that i plan to put in over next few months. The engine also came with a t28 turbo. I'm planning on keeping the look of the car as basic as possible, and trying to get it as road legal as possible and getting an engineers certificate. Well it's been a long time since I've had a project, but picked up this ke20 from a mate's dad looking to get rid of some vehicles. It's had a respray at some stage, as well as new springs and discs just before he took it off the road 7 years ago and it has just sat there. Plan is just to tidy up the body, get it running and then registered. Hey all this is my puple baby. ca18 det powered ke20 coupe. the car is running at the moment was driving but is just about to go off the road for a r31 skyline brogwarner diff conversion, going to run 3.9 gears and a mini spool. the car has race seats, 15inch simmons usues the 180sx dash with lots of autometer gauges. big pwr cooler still uses the ke20 radiator with the 180 thermo fan, going to uprgrade but works well at the moment. saving money and looking into brake upgrades. will keep you posted on further devolpoments.

Hey blokes, this is my first old Corolla finally replacing the Classic Toyota hole left in my life after the Ta22 was stolen. It's a 2TGEU (yes EFI!!) 1976 Ke35 hardtop. Was owned by an older woman for the most part, rebuilt by her husband 10 years ago. It then went to some teen for a year and now it's here. Bought as a daily while I am finishing my not as classic ae86. In pretty decent condition overall, needs a tune and maybe a wheel bearing but that's about it. Thankfully almost no rust. I hate rust. This in a story of an classic Rally sprint racer called "Flame". In previous owner it had 16v 4A-G (201hv@engine. DIN), 5speed T50 modified closeratio dogbox, dana30 rear end with 5.38 ratio and lsd, bilstain front shocks and proflex at rear. I had opportunity to participate in one competition event at tarmac. And loved the car so much, that when the previous owner decided to move complete technics in AE86 body, i was forced to buy the rest of it :jamie: In couple weeks i'm going to get the body home. At engine partment i'm going to stay in 4A-G, but going to 20v setup. This is what it use to look driven by me.

I sold my '66 valiant quick for $675usd and bought this TE72 wagon for $400usd. The car was really well cared for by its original owner, it always went to the Toyota dealer for everything but things he could get a better warranty on. (Exhaust, brakes, tires, batteries.....etc) The car had 40,000mi on it by the time it was a year old! Soon realizing that if i was going to change the engine i may aswel make it worth it hahaha. hey guys i brought this car a while ago but have pretty much rebuilt the whole car since. was just your average ke30 with a v6 and supra 5 speed fitted. i have since repainted the car fitted a vr commordore diff 4.11 gears and spool, welded in cams approved cage race seats and harnesses, full adjustable suspension and nolathane bushes, changed the wheels to 14x7 globes(street) and 14x61/5 longchamps(track). engine side of things it was stock but now has 70mm tb, sc14 supercharger (8psi) bigger injectors and computer to suit and a set of custom pipes are on there way to help it breath. first pic is the day i brought it the others are when i finished it.

hi folks I'm a new member. just picked up this corolla last week. it has only got 75,000klms on it....not sure if thats genuine but judging by the interior it seems like it's been looked after. i bought it as a car for my gf to drive but i don't want to let her drive it now as I'm scared she will ding it. all of the paint seems original too so i don't think its been in any major accidents.

So this is my new toy, It was build by my father about 25+ years ago, I recently acquired from a family friend, (it was build for him) It was repainted in my dad's racing colours when he died and was present at Rally Australia about 13 years ago. it's a complete Animal to drive. The 2t is no longer a 1600 it has the internals of the 3t with a very aggressive cam. the diff is locked and the rear end is heavily reinforced and all the goodie in between. It was in a bit of a front to rear prang with the previous owner unfortunately so a little bit of 'extra' work I originally didn't want to encounter in a build up will be needed. Thought id give a little in site in to why Ive got a KE35. my 1st car was a very nice KE35 coupe moss green only a bit of rust was in the rear boot (wheel arch) as it was my 1st car i loved it so much. heres a pic of it and my wife about 7-8 years ago.. ended up a wright off (not my folt) ever since been looking for one good or bad, then along came this one from Newcastle.. KE35 coupe silver metalick (needs clear cote) things that i need to do.. Ive got to cut the rust out of the bonnet or get a new one (no luck so far). then see if i can fix the problem of the bonnet not laching over. then see if i can find any other problems…

i brought the car in 2007 for 4 grand, spent approximately 10 grand on modifying it. It had a 1.6 litre engine in it but i pulled that out and put a 2 litre in it. Spent 2500 of the 10 grand on the sound system and getting the sound proffesionally tuned. cheers Josh
