Picked it up off some kid that had blown the clutch in his paddok for $50. although the car is not rusty. it had many dents. i have started to panelbeat most of them. still getting onto the rest. i have another clutch for it. havent bothered to put it in yet. still need a starter motor. Hey all, picked up my new car today. Its a Corolla KE30 2 door. bought it for a little price, but worth it. bought off a member here, thanks nick :D :) bought as a rolling shell, so no motor, box, tailshaft radiator ect, and no interior, well there is a Crack free dash, and some door trims lol. Has NO rust, ive had a look meself, and the only rust is surface rust where paint has been chiped, or faded a bit. Few nice bits would be, i like the paint scheme, looks smick. Hey all, introduce my new ride. Sure every1 knows it as Benzo's KE20 Only got 1 pic atm, and a lack of license as ive been disqualified. In the process of fighting for it back tho! After I calmed down from bying this sweet ride, after all my only other car was a 300zx painted lambo orange. how could it compete!!?? I have been working on my Peanut for the past few months bit by bits and so far I'm %75 done. My car came with an extra rebuilt 3K motor when I purchased the car. I was going to put 4AGE in it, but decided at the meantime since money right now is pretty tight the rebuilt 3K would sufice fro now. The car came with a K40 4speed tranny, but I was lucky enough to get a K50 5speed tranny from a Starlet at a local salvage yard. The K50 bolts right in with no modifications needed. I am also putting in a dual Mikuni 40s sidedraft setup with my stock motor. I also have a K series header, but I am having clearance issues because of the steering box on the way. I found a 4K from a liteace in the Quokka and went to have a look... turns out the guy selling had a 1989 T-18 for sale too... seeing as my budget was fairly limited, i didn't bother asking the price he was after. Well ive been searching long and hard for a decent 2 door ke30 and i finally found one which i purchased off ebay today. Its a 1974 model been resprayed blue. Apparently an apprentice spraypainter owned the car before this bloke and this was the first car he'd sprayed. So the paint is average but will definately come up shiny with a light polish. I basically was looking for one that was pretty dint free and minimal to no rust or previous damage in the rear and doors as the front half of the panels are easier to find than the back. Hey all I have been getting bored awaiting parts from the US for my 2JZ KE20 so i bought back a KE20 i owned years ago and i have started fitting a 1UZFE, it will use a largish frame turbo similar to what i used in a previous 1UZFET Vh commodore i built. So far i have tidied up the seem welded engine bay and applied a base coat of toyota D3 Bamboo of course :lolcry: . The car already had a larger skyline tunnel in it and as hoped it swallows the a340e gearbox without a problem. After about a year and a half of searching and saving on maccas pay I have got myself a KE20 :) It turns out a few of you may even recognise this one as well, as it has been around here for a while. I purchased it off Sim in the last week or so, but I also believe it was owned by Scott (PMP 020) and a bloke called Glenn (also from here). It is pretty tidy apart from; >Rust in the front 1/4s, spare wheel well, and behind the bumpers and around the bootlid. >Rear interior is good, but the front seats are torn, and the dash is cracked. Hey all, So glad i found this place, i picked up this overrated 1983 KE70 Corolle SE.
