ohk so ive got an auto 1983 3 speed and i also have a 84 manual corolla 1.6 ltr and could someone please tell me the exact steps n stuff i would need to do to change the 82 to a manual, please help?

i know i know stupid me locked my keys in my ke70 i was just wondering before i put a brick through the side window is there anyway you can jimmy the lock or use something to open the door with or should i call a locksmith out? cheers

Engineering and roadworthy are starting to loom in the background as progress on my ke25 is being progressful so I've been looking deeper into legal stuff lately. So my 25 has no tyre placard and I'm looking for CONCRETE info on what the factory rim and tyre specs were. A few conflicting opinions have been seen around the interwebs... A photo of the placard would be ideal and would settle any doubt! Now to go one better, does anyone know what the te27 specs were? and even more so a photo of the te27 placard. You see I know a bloke who knows a bloke who can make replacement placards if provided with the correct informations...

Hi.. I'm new to these forums since I purchased my AE112R and need some help with the seat rails. My plan is to put Sportivo seats from a ZZE122R into a AE112R I have a spare set of AE112 rails I grabbed from the wreckers, I have tried to get the lower runner off and the seat rail roller out but its impossible. unless I don't know the way to do it properly. Studs are blocking the path for the runner to come apart and drilling them out seems like and unsafe thing to do. So the help I need is to take off the lower runners from the AE112 and slide them onto a ZZE122R top runner, but in doing this I would also need to take off the lower runner from the ZZE122R. …

hey everyone bit of a newb on this site, just needing some advice on a ke30 i am piecing together. i have bought a ke70 with a clapped out body and a 4k with a 5 speed off a mate. i am planning on putting the engine and box in my 30 as i bought it as a rolling shell.. what i need to know is will the tailshaft from the ke70 line up with the ke30 diff once i put the engine in? and secondly will the ke70 fuel tank fit in my 30? is there anything i should look out for with putting a ke70 driveline in a ke30? thanks ppls

hey all , just trying to gather abit of info on Conversions and general info on the Ke55's . I have read through alot and i mean alot of threads to find out as much as possible but nothing realy sticks out telling me what i need. So my question is For a 1979 Ke55 1. What would be the best choice to convert engine wise for best power / fuel econemy . 2. How much am i roughly looking at to swap an engine .. if i do the work / if i give it to a mechanic to fit. 3. Hi all, I have been thinking of twin charging my 4AGZE, as it is I haven't installed the engine or the sc14 onto the motor as its in need of a full rebuild plus some! Just keeping it simple I was thinking of having the induction start coming into the sc14 pass through a wide narrow FMI into the turbo, out the turbo through another wide narrow FMI of the same spec then into the TB, running BOV etc. My main question is what turbo would be the best for response? as I don't want lag and all the power at 6500-7000. I have looked at both the GT2554R and the GT2560R as I want ball bearing for obvious reasons. If anyone has used these 2 turbo's let me know what they perform…

Hey everyone, i am about to finish off a 4AGE 20v silvertop Conversion in my AE94 corolla sedan which previously had a 4AFE. now i have sorted everything at the exception of this 22 pin plug, can anyone help me work out the pin-outs for this plug? i will need to splice the 4AGE engine loom to suit this plug...but without a pin out i am stuck.. :( your help is greatly appreciated! kind regards,

Got moved out to Washington state, Sold my 1966 valiant cheap and quick, and got into an '81 TE72 wagon! the po thought it needed a carrier bearing; I drove it and found it to be a bad U-joint. The car drives like it has 75,000mi but actually has 275,000mi on it!! Found out you cand change the u-joints so I found another shaft at a junkyard for $65. It's a 3TC car, T50, 3:54 gears (I think) No a/c, but has the rear wiper/washer dealio. Little rust around the rear quarter windows, bottom of the left doors, no holes; just pitting. Pics to come.......

hey everyone... have had an oil leak where the fuel pump connects to the block. I went to change it and realised there was a spacer that was cracked and i cannot put the fuel pump on without it. I have called repco and they have no listing. I'm stuck for options. I'm not at home, I'm down the coast. I kinda need to fix the eproblem. So far i have used araldite on the spacer back together and am going to try to put it back with the gasket maker silicone... just to get me home about an hour away. I need to know if i can buy this part, if anyone has one for sale Or what i can do to fix it. its about 6 mm thick The engine is a 7K-E converted to a weber 40 side …

hi guys, just after some help before selling one of my 4 age's. i have 2 4age redtops. one is the higher powered redtop, 7rib block(all red lettering) and one is lower powered redtop, 3rib block(black and red lettering). i was just trying to find out whether or not the 2 wiring looms/ecu are the same?? or if they are different??

Hey guys I have Rolla ii / Corsa body to give away (i need it gone yesterday). So i call up some free car body removals ask them to take it away but they don't want it!!! hey guys. i have just bought 4age for my ke wagon. and am looking to freshin her up. now. most of the pulleys have been cracked or have chucks out of them. due to $h!t KeNts at the wreckers when they pulled it out of the car. any how if i were to go aftermarket pulleys, like $h!tty ebay ones or any other that are suggested. is it true that if you get cheap ebay jobs, they can undercharge the alternator and cause lots of little problems? Hello. Ive just snapped my exhaust manifold on my 20v ae71. Looking at options for the replacement of them as my fabricator is a bit busy right now. Ive seen the OBX tri-y type - $about $600 landed. Ive also seen the obx stainless 4-1s - About $375 landed. Kaizens crap - not worth 2 cents. Toda - $1200+ freight Malaysian Toda copies on ebay - $400 landed but don't look equal length. There are the cx racing headers on ebay with the high rise design, they will be available in 6 weeks for 20v conversion apparently, - $500 landed. hi everyone i am currently in need of new injectors for my 4agte corolla. the current ones seem to be leaking in between the yellow and silver section. my problem is i don't know the flow rate of these injectors. the injector is "badged" as a a46-00 with a printing on the top reading oj50 4527d if anyone can help me out with this it would be greatly appreciated thankyou

Hey guys. i'm looking to re join the corolla owners community :thumbsup: only having owned a 4age powered ke70 my knowledge of 4k and 4ac motors are very very limited. I was just wondering does anyone know ways of pushing out more power from these motors with out weird draw through carby turbo setups? Hey lads, looking at buying a very cheap set of 2k old forged pistons with scores on the piston crown and skirt.Wondering on how detrimental this is on its efficiency and reliability, the ad states.... " Some scratches on the side of the crowns (see pics). Crowns are 86mm (very typical for after market pistons to use 1mm undersized crown diameter), so the scratches could be buffed out (they normally don't touch the bore anyway). Ok.a friend of mine has bought a TA22 celica,it has no engine to speak of although he does have bits and pieces of a 2T but really of no use. Wanted to know what the engine options were for this car and any suggestions about any other engine that me be a good option. Not interested in having to get it engineered for any reason,just want to get it on the road with least amount of cost and hassle but reliable. He does have access to a silvertop 4age but I assume that would require engineering and I'm not sure if it would suit the car anyway as I assume the celica to be a bit heavier and therefore a bit more effort for the age to move along.Anyway,if you have a comment pls …

I have a Redline 9inch air cleaner on my 32/36 DGV The round chrome ones. The base plate has started cracking which is apparently a common occurence with these filters. I prefer the look of these over others though i'm looking at a new filter, either a Ramflo or one of those square ones with either 2 inch or 2-1/2 inch cotton guaze washable type filter. Just after some insight as to which air cleaner, if any is better or if you know of any other option out there.

hey guys, i have a ke36 panelvan which needs some body work, instead of fixing the front quaters and shit, I'm thinking about doing a ke55 front conversion as i have all the parts, grill, lights, bonnet, front quaters etc.... I'm just wondering if it will all bolt up the same etc.... will i have any troubles doing so... ALSO, it currently has a 3k 4sp manual, i have a 4kc motor I'm doing some work on before it goes in but i also have a 5sp box i want to put it while i do the work on the motor, will it bolt straght up? aka driveshafts, cross members, bellhousing bolts etc... any help will be good, cheers!

Hi all, Simple question I have put an exhaust on my car that has come from a wreckers car. The condition of the exhaust system start descent near the headers and gets pretty rusty looking from there to about half way down the car where it connects to the existing exhaust from the car which is descent condition. The rusty looking bit only has minor holes that you wouldn't realy notice to look at. the car looks like a piece of shit visually but A1 mechanically other than the exhaust. How picky are places that do blueslips and pink slips? Thanks
