Hi guys, I have got an E7 which I am looking to take through a Tier2 inspection soon. It currently has coil overs all round (AE86 disc rear end) and exhaust. Apparently an 86 got shut down because of coil overs recently on a Tier2, and has to do a full inspection as a result. Trying to avoid this. I am hoping that someone has got some stock springs to suit the rear end set up, and some AE86 stock struts that I could borrow for the inspection. Happy to repay favor with beers or dollary-doos. South side is ideal, but happy to travel to grab parts. Thanks in advance for any leads or help, shoot us a PM if you can help out!

Hey guys. Just purcahsed my first rolla, a ke20 with a 4k and 5 speed. Paid $1500 so you can probably guess the condition of it ;) Anyway, I'm having a hard time working out all the things that are wrong with it. I just want to get it running and mobile so I can take it places to get fixed. I like to think I'm the handy type (I love working on cars) but I'm not and have no clue what I'm doing haha. Hey again guys. Just want to start off by saying I have learnt so much from this forum and have been given a lot of help and advice. I recently purchased a ke20 with a 4k and manual conversion. I was told it only needed timing and starter motor rewired. The starter motor was wired wrong and melted a wire so I fixed that (I think its wired properly now) I then kicked it in the guts with a new battery, it hadn't been started in over two years I was told. It didn't want to start, checked spark plugs and they were near new, and leads were ok. Turned out it was the points in the dizzy so changed them and BOOM!!!! hey guys last week i bought 4 new tyres from a tyre store (i wont mention the name of store) now the wife has done 120 km on the new tyres and one has a split in a side wall and blew out there is a small bit if paint missing from the rim, no evidence of scratch or damage to rim and they are telling me that this is due to driving on the road and ill just have to buy a new tyre ! does any one else think this is bullshit ? ive spent prob 3000 in tyres with my cars, work van and parents car over the past six months yet they arent willing to come to the party for one tyre ?? hey everyone, not to long ago i got my first corolla after wanting one for ages. I found a one in excellent condition. But i think it might have carby issues. also the timing is jumping about 2-3 degrees and it idles bit S*%T. I would like to know what would be involved in changing it to a WEBER or any other carby that may be better? and what would be any possible reasons for the idle? What would i do with the vacuum lines which ones could i block off etc etc. might be a stupid question but this is the first carby car i have had much to do with. any help would be appreciated.

Hi guys, just though I would try my luck and see if anyone on here knows the laws regarding engine swaps in SA My Car is currently running a 4AC so Do I need to go through regency to get the engine number changed on my rego papers? I picked up an application to change the engine number from the motor reg but I am worried if I lodge it and regency disapproves i will have to get my car inspected and that's something I don't want to go through. Has anyone else registered this swap in Adelaide without going to regency? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

It would be fantastic if as many rollaclub members as possible could head along and have a club display at the Show n Shine on the Saturday! I attended last year and it was a great weekend away! Friday night people can rock up/register early at the pub.
