What is this? The old KE70.com forum had become rundown and neglected. The software was old, barely functional anymore and infested with spammers. Neither Teddy or myself had the time needed to devote to reviving and rebuilding the old forums. The idea of merging the forum with Rollaclub is not a new one, however the decision to do so only came about recently. While we would have liked to migrate all of the posts and members (who aren't already members here), this currently is not realistic. Hi Rollaclub members. i'm a new member here and so happy to be a part rollaclub. I got some questions since I can't find any swap of 1nz-fe into a ke-70. Need to know that if it's possible to swap it into a KE70 with a 5speed tranny which i don't know what will fit and will the engine work on a Keinhin Flat CV carby? Suggestion and link of whome did this kinda swap would be really appreciated.

hey guys,it's me again,i have a 2K engine in my pickup-KP36,and i really need some help :/ .First of all i m looking for an intake manifold to buy,from europe,only for 2K engines,and about 50-85 euros.Second,i have to know if it worths all my tries until now about putting my cbr 600 carb.I didn't do any mods on the engine inside,i just run on a little more psi fuel pressure from my cbr 600 fuel pressure regulator.Any help will be acceptable,and please tell me how to write my topics on rolla club page only,as i am new here.

hi guys i have a ke70 that has a 4k in it, it is running a 3k carby. the problem is when the car starts cold it is fine, but upon warming up it stalls on idle and at traffic lights and such, i am kind of a noob when it comes to carbies and have been searching for a solution. any help is greatly appreciated :y:

81 te72. 3tc. Idles great, timing is perfect. Has a no name ebay header, bone stock otherwise. Stumbles or missfires all over the place. Replaced stock smoggy carb with one off of a 85 4ac. As far as i can tell its the exact same carb (other than the fuel line was different, being fwd. Swapped it to mine). Yes its a non rebuilt junkyard carb. Anyhoo, runs ABSOLUTELY no different. So its either the same exact level of crappy as my old one, or theres other issues. Checked for vacuum leaks with starter fluid and found none. Wondering if its the coil/modulator thing? Ive heard they are somewhat problematic. If y'all think thats it, then the next question is thus: the junkya…

Its doesn't give a spark but i change condencer and module coil its still working fine what can i do please help

Hi team, Currently in the process of rebuilding a wee kp for summertime skids & coffee cruising. Bought the kp and have come to realise it’s got a dished piston bottom end and what I believe to be a 5k head and have confirm this with the previous owner but it’s all “apparently”. The head has got the two knobs under each spark tube at both ends. Anyway, I’ve turfed the facto radiator and electric fan and have gone for the Fenix ke70 ally rad/fan shroud kit for maximum coolage when abusing it over the takaka hill. Question being, are the entire top & bottom thermostat housings compatible across the range of 2k-5k heads? …

Hey all, I very recently acquired a 5k motor and I plan to fit it to my Ke70, I know how to do the engine swap so no questions there Since Currently the 4k in my ke70 is worked (2x 40 DCOE webers, Tighe 104 cam, 2' inch exhaust, 40 thou overbore for ACL pistons, All rotating components have been balanced, lightend flywheel, MSD 6a ignition system w/Blaster 2 coil...etc.) I've had my hand on working 4k's...But I've honestly done a 5k before so in the interest of learning etc. I'd like to know this What mods/specs have people built their 5k's (must be n/a, no forced induction) to, What kind of power output am I looking at (Streetable... like the 4k above)..…

Hi I have an ae70 hardtop and a ke70 liftback recently acquired. I need the weatherstripping for the cars...all of it other than the front windscreen weatherstripping. 4 door weatherstrips are available here in PAkistan but none for 2 door frameless windows etc... does anyone know of a reliable source anywhere in the world.

Hi I’ve been looking around everywhere for some sort of answer to a question but can’t find anything. I’m looking to weld my ae71’s diff but can’t find anything hinting towards the strength of the axles or anything related. Surely the car is light enough that just driving around won’t snap axles?

hey guys, sorry in advance because I'm sure this gets asked 24-7. i recently purchased a full set of DGR ae86 coilovers, camber tops on front, 30point dampening etc. i bought these knowing that i would have to change my steering arms/lca's/brakes etc to ae86, but i can't find any of these parts. is there any way around doing this? can i weld these directly onto my ke70 spindle's and have a good result? keep in mind the fronts are weld on's, and the rears bolted in perfect so no issues in that area. Hi all , I’ve recently bought an old KE70 wagon that I’m wanting to restore, I’ve noticed under the bonnet there’s a sticker saying that the car can contain asbestos, I know that older cars has asbestos in the brake pads, clutches and some seals, I’m just wondering what else contains asbestos in the car? Does the interior insulation or car underbody coating contain asbestos? any help or information would be appreciated Shane

hi all i have been loitering around the internet and notice that there is a lot of people putting bike carbs on their 4k. i think they use a modified twin carb manifold. if i was to use a set of cbr900 carbs what would i have to do to install it correctly? is it ok to just mount the carbs or do you need the bikes fuel pump as well? any helpful advice would be greatly appreciated :)

Normally E-series engines come with C150 transmission, and when engine is upgraded to 'A' series e.g. 4A, 5A, or 7A, the trans is also upgraded to C50 or any C5X now i have an fwd corolla with 2E (12 valve) engine,that already has C40 transmission instead of C150. Just wondering if C40 and C50 are both same with 5th gear difference like k40/K50 or completely different. if C40 can work with 4A or 5A, this will save us some cash. YM

I have a 1983 KE70 slant corolla and I want to put a 32/36 weber on it. Looking at the original carby there are quite a few vacumn hoses on this carbby, and only 2 on the weber. Can anyone help with what they are all for and how I go about fitting the new carb.

Hey Guys I am looking at touching up some areas of my car with touch up paint, question my color code next to COLOR/TRIM is "BL-TV-GP" if I take that to Super Cheap Auto would they be able to colour match that paint code. I had a look at import archive and the colour codes on their seem to be different to the one on my TOYOTA Build Plate.

How much would I be looking at to buy a drivers side mirror for a 84 ke70?

Hey guys. Have recently put in another engine and running into a few issues It starts but begins to play up and stalls. Only runs with choke on and ends up dying still within like a min . Could this be something to do with a blocked jet, timing, bad fuel, dirty fuel filter or air fuel mixture ?? Second issue I have is that my radio and clock are running as soon as you put the negative cable on the battery. Have checked the earths in the engine bay but they are bolted in. Hey, I'm fairly new to the forum picked a KE70 with a 4k a few months ago for a second car have a little fun with you know the gist. Recently its blown head gasket and turned my oil into milky sludge. It's a low K motor on the odometer (but you never know). But i'd like to rebuild it and have her sound a little better its an all original car drives nice with minimal rust, like to give her a fresh motor. Perhaps with an aggressive Cam and head work. Anybody know any engine builders they can suggest for this motor. My plans for the car are to keep it original I don't want to engine swap or be a target for defects, its just a little cruiser to occasion…
