Some of you may remember me, I spent a lot of time here when i was in my mid-teens. It's been a couple of years since I've had a Corolla, but since then I've branched out into bigger and better things. In particular an RT72 Corona, which is being handed down to me by my dad's uncle. So I've spent the last 12 months or so researching the car, trying to find parts. Which has turned out to be quite a difficult task, considering finding information alone is hard enough. Well, as the title suggests, I'm new to rollaclub, and i have a ke70 granny spec that i just aquired for free :dance: its an 84 auto, my father inlaw's aunty bought it new, it has 118,xxx k's, a little rust here and there but over all its in great nick for a car from a beachsidetown. she failed her lisence test (shes 89) so does not need the car so just gave it to me. i don't have any pics yet, and the plan it to keep it stock for a while (till i get some cash) then play with it. i live in coffs harbour, I'm 31, and a 2nd yr diesel mechanic apprentice. wanna know anything else, just ask :cool: kev

Hey there, I've recently got my first KE20. This forum seems like it'd be a great source of knowledge, but it seems kinda dead? Probably due to social media and the fact you can't upload photos?!? Anyone still here???? I already have a lot of questions, so I hope someone still hangs around here! - Can you buy the inner wheel arch plate that bolts in at the rear of the front wheel well (if that makes sense)? Or is it easier to fabricate a new one? - My rollla has a replacement dash which is too narrow and doesn't fit correctly? been an interesting few weeks for a few of us Toowoombanites.. more dodgy deals going on than in the carpark at the back of the Royal Hotel...LOL so, one of the deals saw me inherit this lil rig Dave did the suspension well, coilovers, adjustable camber tops, etc pretty much how i got her hadn't looked into these at all, until i got this one, so I am learning as I go any suggestions/advice appreciated. more to follow

Hey guys my name is johnny I'm new on rollaclub. I just bought my 3rd rolla and i love it to pieces. It's pretty much my daily work car. It's not to bad for the condition it is in, its a simple 4kc 5speed with 122xxx k's on the clock standard motor. It's got a bit of rust in one spot but the rest is pretty shmick for the car that it is. The paint is a bit faded but i guess thats normal for ke70's tho. It's got a brand new 2.5inch exhaust system on it (SOUNDS LIKE PURE VIOLENCE),a kelway strutbrace,a locked diff and cut springs as usual ofcourse :yes:,standard interior and standard radio. Well guys, I've been hanging to start this thread the moment I seen this car. I knew it was mean to be! It is a 1 OWNER, that's right 1 OWNER KE55 Coupe. It was clearly well looked after, probably the MOST original KE55 coupe in all of VICTORIA! The interior is honest to god, like NEW, I shit you not! It has never been smoked in, it has the original carpet and original seat covers. It even has the original radio and cassette player in working condition! There is 1 crack in the dash, 1 tiny rip in the back seat. The exterior has rust in most arches, some terrible others easily repairable, I'm taking it to a panel beater tomorrow morning so he can look it over. This car…

Ok some of you guys might know the car as i bought it from Kiahn.. I cleaned it up a little and took it over for pit inspection and it passed first go with oil leaking into rocker valley lol kiahn did the conversion useing a 3 rib bigport that needed too much work to bring it back to life so instead of rebuilding it again i gave that to my mate for him to play with and i replaced it with a 7 rib smallport.. its running a modified smallport intake with all the bigport throttle body and sencors and bigport injectors lowered pedders springs adjustable pannard rod 13 inch alloys (unknown brand) K&N air filter Dunnydoor ally radiator tinted windows NoS b…

Not much to explain with this one. Hassled the owner for the last 3 years to sell this thing and never wanted to part with it then decided to sell the property. He called me first and said if i wanted it come and get it. So yeah basic run down 1965? Rt40 corona, 3 speed manual columb shift, tired smokey 2r engine, bugger all body rust and a shagged interior. :) not bad since it has been sitting for 15 years and still runs. when i ask can you slap a 351 into a ke20 i don't mean just drop an engine in and drive. i mean engineered and road legal. most will say I'm a dreamer but honestly can it at all be done? I'm not the biggest fan of turbo cars as fun as they may be the rumble of a v8 always gets me i was thinking of doing this to my mk2 cortina which is of similiar weight, but come on, in a ke20 it would be the sweetest thing. i know i can't legally put a engine bigger then a 2.0 in a ke20 and me wanting a 5.8 is a massive ask. but if i was to only use the body of a ke20. for example, use an ford xe chassis, with a ke20 body and cut the chassis to fit. anyone know of such…

Hey all, thought I'd share a few pictures and details of my ke35. I bought the car last year in 2015. I traveled about 3 hours south of Sydney to pick it up! It has a 4sp manual powered by a 3k. I've been toying with the idea of building this car and swapping the engine but I'm still undecided. Torn between the idea of power and keeping things original. Isaac KE30 Partially worked/painted 5k, extractors, electronic ignition (bosch GT40 coil, new radiator, new alternator, theres more but i can't think of what just now. full engine rebuild at 100 xxx km's now done 137 xxx. what i belive is "Otomoto" brand sleeve coilovers in front, but not completely sure and hard rear springs, brakes stock. 14 x 7 Enkei wheels, unsure of model (please help me out) stock interior, but overrated minus two small tears in rear seat. very very straight body. two owners previous the car was involver in minor colision and front left gaurd was dented but has since been fixed and left side of car has had respray.

I got this to replace my coupe, which is currently off the road due to someone deciding it was too low. Anyway, It's a 1980 model with a 5K, and unfortunately only a dirty old 4 speed. But it goes good....breezed through rego and is a bloody good little car. Here's some pics

Recently bought a ke20 off a forum member and local, has replaced my ke55 as a project car as i like these shapes better. had bought a 2tg/3t hybrid for the 55 and it seemed a waste to try and sell the engine as i would never get what has been spent by me so far and the previous owner so its down the resto road i go. hopefully getting the rust fixed up within the next week, then a new paint job to keep it in good nick for a while longer. most probably end up white, not too fussy on colours etc. it will just be a car for fun so interior will be 2 seats and some aluminum trim, maybe a half cage if it flexes too much, anyone who can give me ideas on suspension and brake…

Yeah i decided to upgrade a little bit, the power is fun! stock as a rock. besides the stereo. So far its got new dizzy cap, leads, HKS panel Filter, the Kenwood Head unit, 6" splits and 6x9's. And ive got a boost gauge in there just so i could see how much she's getting after years. 9-9.5. which is good :D whadda ya reckon....rollaclub worthy or should i take it down :P

so were to start. i got this ke70 for straight swaps for my fully sick minitruck.... (it was not full sick) that is the 1st day i got the car so is this one fit a ae86 notchback boot lip, don't worry the mounts were all stuffed so didnt wreck it. how the motor looked when i got it, talk about proplems on how it was put together. the manifold had 3 of the 9 bolts holding it on. so once i had realised how much was done wrong in the car i made my mind up i was goin to strip the whole car and fix it all. started with a new bigport head that came with the car then it was time to try get it running, spend about 6 weeks tracing wires b…

I got the car in january this year, it was going to be my sisters but she found a really nice original ke25. All of the mechanicals are now done and I have started stripping it and getting it ready for painting. I will be painting it in original bamboo colour and the grill, light surrounds etc will be in silver grey. Hey all some of you may know this car, I purchased it of Callum (Deleta) of DC. some info on her Specs has 4k-c webber 2 and 1/4 exhuast superlight 15 by 8 0 and JDM brakes and front struts with koni red schoks and stock springs all round has (unsure of brand) racing seats in it since pics. Future mods: Have evo9 seats from 999 automotive ordered. Currently getting a 4age built by C&M Performance. Hey all , I volounteer at a youth organization called Car 26, project aimed to get kids of the streets and teach them about cars and how to work on them. anyhoo we got donated a ke30 from a lady whos mother passed away, i bought it of the group and now it my project car. Its a 1977 ke30 , done 96,00 genuine ks , i have the original reciepts , log books and warranty cards for the car along with a comprehensive service record. it has a few dings here and there but not for long. It was a 3k auto but i have recently converted it to a 2t engine with a 5 speed box that i got of a mate with a few celicas. runs good as , still got abit to go though.
