I used to get about in a 3TGTE powered (and then 4AGTE) TE72 way back when, which I busted up when the tailshaft snapped at speed. hey all I first bought my ke55 off ebay, it had: -a new blood orange paint job -2" lowering blocks -no engine -no locks -no side windows -half a loom The plan was to have a nice ke55 daily driver that was nice to look at and reliable. I decided to keep the stock interior just tidy it up a little with reapolstering the seats in black, new black carpet, new black headliner. I have bought 6 new auto meter guages which i am making a new gauge cluster out of. i pick this 5k up cheap. ran it in ke55 for 3 months with a blown hg (pressurizing the coolant system and EPIC blowing smoke) while my warm 4k was being built. pulled like a school boy! i ran some serious thick engine oil/gearbox oil to try keep the smoke down. it kinda worked :lolcry:. its been sitting on the garage floor the past 5 months doing nothing so i was thinking of rebuilding her and selling it. trolling thru ebay, i found 2 5k gasket kits CHEAP!. ordered them in and they arvived today. as soon as i got home (around 6ish) i put the motor on the stand and started ripping her apart inspecting her. i started packing up my tools at 7:45 LOL! i had some trob…

Hi all i did have this topic somewhere else because i put it in the wrong spot so i decided to repost it here. This is the ke30 that i bought a few months ago for $20 I have stripped it down completely when i was living on the sunny coast and then moved back to toowoomba and me and a mate pulled the motor and box out, we straightened the radiator saport and painted the enginebay. I have also stripped the pain off the doors guard and boot lid and primed them ready to be painted but they wont get painted until the rest is ready to go.

You might remember that i was looking for an AE93 SX/GTi a few months ago, well i picked one up so may as well show it off a bit. It's a White Series 1 SX Seca which had 208xxx on the clock at time of purchase. Pretty much granny spec aside from an alpine headunit which may as well be dead, and rear muffler has been replaced at some point with a decent looking tip, no peashooters here XD. Picked it up for a very nice price with 6 months registration. Originally the car was purchased as a daily, whilst My Soarer is reserved as a weekender. However, the rolla bug bit, and I have started to spend some decent coin on the beast. The project started with the intention of keeping it as a daily with some gimmicky traditional and JDM mods (220mm dildo shift knob, OMP deep dish wheel, 14" jellybeans). So a few mates and I have a stable of dungers we smash about in a paddock with, as you do. This is currently the cleanest of the group - for now. It's rocking a mad tight 300,000ks+ 3K... for some reason, not sure why. Locked diff. Bald tyres. Tow bar. TRD 80's rattle can paint job. Bought this on Sunday a 1969 ke10, 3k four speed and NO RUST has a few dents, but it is complete even owners manual and original keys. Has a saas wheel but the original is in the boot. New exhaust, new shocks all round, red interior has a tear in the drivers seat but the passenger and rear seat is spot on. Has 30+ year old 155 remington steels on it lol Engine purrs with a pull of the choke and a flick of the key B) Plans are new tyres with widened steelies or ssr's and paint and panel back too a light cream colour. hey guys, i thought id better start keeping you guys updated on the progress on the little beast, ill give you a bit of back ground info, its a 1978 ke30 4 door, it cost me 600, its hail damaged, and had major rust which is now gone since yesterday, its just got the 3k in it which was imported from japan because the original blew, its runs quiet well. i think thats about it, ill put up a few pics of what ive done in two weeks, and i will be keeping everyone updated. also the two rust spots I'm posting are on the bonnet and the major one was on the back left structural point which is now gone.

So this is my new car, will be using it for daily duties and maybe a bit of fun on the side Not too exciting atm... hi everyone, my names Luke, i'm a 1st year apprentice chef so money is tight. my slanty set me back $250 and its my baby :) She had rust spots above both rear lights and in the rear guards. the interior is straight and free of rips but rather stained in places. all the electrics work apart from what i can only hop is a faulty fuse for my dash lights. so far i have fixed the rust in the boot with tac welds and fiber glass putty (money is real tight). i haven't bothered with the guards just yet. all in good time though. the dream is to keep some elements as stock as possible such as tint bumpers lights ect. but being young and it my first car it has to be slammed with he…

so i spotted this panno sitting neglected at a petrol station, thought it was stolen and had been dumped. had a smashed window but looked like it was in decent condition so i left a note on it asking if they'd like to sell. few weeks later, the owner got in contact with me and a deal was struck and i got it towed back to my mates place the next day where we started to clean it up. to our surprise it came up exceptionally well. the back was full of jahova's witness propaganda and heaps of random shit. manky carpet and whatnot. it took a bit of work to get it running but it did run and drive quite well. the motor was a little smokey though, so i decided to pull it. …
