hey all .. thought it was about time i posted up some pics of the new shell ive been building to replace the rusted out old black thing... this is the car as i was and I'm sure a few of u have seen it around......then i decided it was too rusty and it was time to replace the shell.. so i found a very clean shell for $100 (had everything but the motor) and went to town.. as it stand right now the car is almost painted after some body mods.. and sanding, lots of sanding... i hate sanding now it looks like this! :cool:

3 months ago, purchased i white twin cam 16 ae82 corolla, since then she has changed some what in colour and power. silver pearl paint job custom number plates TRD 86 4agze conversion, and now getting a wolf management system and a killer exhaust installed. stereo is at home waiting to go in when she comes home. undecided to buy some drift jap wheels( for looks, not for drift) to just give it that jap spec look, or to try n fit some 18's under those guards. was lookin for a sprinter to do this conversion with, but they are so over priced for what they are. if anyone knows of a stocker and for cheap, I'm still lookin! pics will go up when the car c…

I have decided to paint my coupe myself. What sort of paint should I buy? how far back do I take the old paint? will a 2hp compressor do? or should I buy a 2.5hp?

Please can anyone tell me how to remove the roof lining from my KE35 Coupe? I have removed all the side covers, visors, light and seat belts.........but I think there may be clips and I cannot locate them.

Originally the Easy Rolla was going to be used as a motokhana car for me & my son however situations change and it now looks like being my daily driver. This has resulted in a need to rethink the whole direction of the car and a new plan has been born. this is my #2 dream car; kristy calls it a land yacht since i was like 8 , i've always wanted a '68-'69 plymouth sport satellite sportwagon i never could find one, but found a super clean '69 dodge coronet..... so i put a '69 road runner front clip on it it's only a slant six 225, but i've already replaced the noisy 3 speed with an o.d. 4 speed and i have an efi 318 sitting at grampa's i sold my '65 dodge dart on ebay and drove this back about 2 weeks ago check out the dish....

well ive got myself a project...was only going to be a repair and paint project but I'm thinking things are going to get out of hand as they do haha, has 5k with twin carbies, 5speed kp61 starlet gearbox, cut springs in the front and taken the second biggest leaf spring out of the rear but will soon put it bak in and put 2inch blocks in as the leaves are 2 soft now haha, painted it matt black and then the next day had a uhm..lets say..nudge? the next day.. so hunting more parts, hav found pretty much all of them in 2days haha, all i need now is chrome bumper, radiator and valance panel and I'm away.. will be painted capsicum green with gold pearl thru it, going to work th…

Hi guys, I'm only new to rollaclub forums but i hope i can be a valued member to you guys, My project is a KE55 corolla coupe that i am building as a race car, throughout the conversion process i will try to keep you guys as informed and uptodate as possible, my conversion is a slight twist to the norm though, being built as a race car i will be deviating from the conventional a little, so just try to follw my thinking patterns. i'm starting something new,i'm going to create a Sti, now likely in power wise,but in styling. i will hit the junk yards up for a wreaked sti hood and wing. i alrdy have a suppiler for the wheels but to me they don't look to much like Sti wheels, so if anybody can help me with that, i whould apperiate it. not sure if i will custom fit sti lights on the car.... i'll keep posting updates and soon get a digital cam.... oh yeah the car that i will be working on for this project... a 1983 toyota corolla. 4AGE engine swap coming soon... :D

Well here is my new project car. To start off i am just fixing the few rust spots in her (have already cut the rust out just gotta weld in new steel u can see it in the pics) and going to colour match it all to the original colour. Hey guys and gals heres my finished project (for build up see http://www.rollaclub.com/board/index.php?showtopic=3607) painted, rimmed, and loud... painted in the taxi orange (didnt know untill it was applied :( ) with its new Melber alloy 15" rims and low profile tires it doesnt look too bad. It has a 4k with a upgrade camshaft (unknowen) holley carb with new rings and all tuned up, with a 2.5" system with tuned extractors and a 4" tip :P Very Loud ;) Has new carpet and NOS front seat covers (just wanted blue) witha custom back one made up. ok i thought i better introduce my self and post up what i have dun 2 my car so far i first found the ke30 in the trading post for $600 we went and checked it out and it looked good bar the most corolla rust spots. we took it hoom and the next day went straight 2 work on it satrted with the diff buying a new 1 cos the old 1 was stufed and was making sum funky noises and then brake pads and a full service and then went on 2 the interiour were the carpet was riped and batterd and the seats were torn so we went out and got new carpet and new seats and sum vinal so we could also do the door trims and then went on 2 the exteriou we sanded it back kut and replaced the rust…

I killed my old (worked 3T-c 5sp, LSD... tidy) KE36 by rolling it in the forest. Was a sad, sad day. sob I wanted another KE36... ...and I found another one. Its a bit ratty, but IMPORTANTLY... everything is straight. The 3k Bigport is knackered, and was gonna be replaced by a ?T-g. For now, its getting a kinda-fresh 4K. It'll be daily driver/weekend warrior for uni next year. I am more into Handling and Stopping than BHP. As a result I have learnt HOW to get the most of these cars, and use the small amount of BHP that K engines have... Momentum, braking late, and hurling a KE at corners!! So Project:36 (P:36) is gonna get the best setup possible…
