So I was in a carpark about to reverse into a park when I looked behind me and a 30 year old L plater of a different nationality with a female supervisory driver of another different nationality (not to be named.. :osama: :ninja:) were looking at the park (which was now behind them) whilst driving forward and crashed into me. My rear bumper which used to be m.int is now dented, bent and pushed right up to the body of the car, so I'm not sure how bad it is underneath. My tailgate which also used to be m.int now has a dent in it also, about the length/width of an iPhone. Their car hit the area just above the exhaust, hitting that too. Thank god, because I reckon that stop…

At Powercruise i found two awesome rollas. One was the ultimate sleeper. A bog stock ke20 with a 13b rotary. (0ke20) The other one was also a ke20 which had a fesh paint, 4age? conversion. It was a four cylinder turbo not sure of the exact designation. Had a ae86 rear end in it with disc brakes. Also 15 inch weld racing lookalike wheels. (cke20) Just wondering if anyone has seen these or has any more info. =)

Hi everyone, I'm thinking about buying a new trolley jack. I had a full-size trolley jack but sold it when I got rid of my last car :( As I am short on 2 key things, money and space, I'm thinking about getting a smaller trolley jack. As I've never used one of these before I was just wondering if anyone had any experience with them. I've prob only use it a couple of times a year. This is the sort of size I was looking at, prob not that exact model but just to give you an idea. http://www.kincrome....rtnumber=K12061 Will these jacks lift each end of a rolla no probs? Do they lift them high enough to get them on jack stands etc? Thanks for your help.

Just wondering about your thoughts on rims for a KE70 corolla. In your opinions would you like something thats old school ie challengers or hotwires or Something thats new like Concept 5's or RS5's or would you go for the dished dori drift wheels like Konig rewindes or Watanabes? the reason I'm asking is because I'm trying to make my mind up. I'd like some dish but no more than an inch and i will have a budget of around $1500 for rims and tyres id also prefer to by new and id prefer either 15's or 16's thanks, John

I'm looking at converting my ke17 sprinter and dropping a 13B into it. I was just wondering if you guys can point me into the right direction in terms of gearbox and diff. The car currently has a T50 celica box in it, would that hold up behind a 13B or is another box required? If so what would you guys recommend? Also, any recommendations for what diff to run? Not looking at running ridiculous power at the moment but might go down the turbo path in the future. Cheers

Hi all Was chatting with teddy lastnight for a very short time he asked how the rolla was going so I'm now going to give a little update Its not going to be supercharged any longer its too hard to tune with a carb blowthrough so i got fuel injection from Nick (and i don't mean myself)Grimwolge. ive also got a t25 and intercooler sitting here that i was going to use for my ET Pulsar but the ET goes good enough as it is. I know turbos better that supercharges and I'm going to use it on the rolla now. The injection turned up today (thanks Nick all seems good) and ive now put it on.i rushed home after work and started as soom as i got into the driveway.worked till it was…

Saw this monster at a Hillclimb today. It's a 3K powered monster, 160 thou oversize pistons, bigport head, twin webers and about 142 horsepower at the flywheel. I'm quite interested in these things, I like the idea of an open wheeler with a trusty K engine in a tough looking little open wheeler. It's restricted to 1300cc capacity for Historic racing. I was wondering if anyone know's much more about them, other than wiki-facts? History of the race, what sort of other engines and chassis they ran against, how many built, what they're worth and what I could one for haha?

Hey guys I'm new to RollaClub. My name is Michael, I'm 16 and i love Corollas lol. I have a lot of questions. Some of them are slowly getting eliminated as i search through older topics... But there are a few questions i have, because I'm no mechanic and pretty much have no idea about half the stuff i read on these forums... First of all, is there any possible way to fit a 2JZ-GE/GTE in a KE70? If not, i don't really want a 4A-GE/GZE... So is there any other 6 cylinders anyone can recommend? Maybe a 7M-GE/GTE? 5M-GE...? Maybe another manufacturer... Or is it actually better to just go 4A-GE...? Also, how much money are we talking for a 4A-GE conversion...? I …

Are these sold in australia as i have not seen any around my area in melb.

Came across this by accident with google fishing "ethanol mandate". Sounds all well and good and other crap forcing us to go green if we want to or not. Being able to rely on our own home grow green hippy friendly fuel and a bit less on the stuff from the dinosaurs. http://www.abc.net.a...10/s3050895.htm http://www.courierma...x-1225914489051 http://www.racq.com....date_suspension The governments plan was of january 2011 every service station in the south-east of QLD would not be selling unleaded, instead giving us a choice of e10 or premium. Thanks to RACQ the plan has been put on hold for at least 12 months. Or at least from what i can make out from the sites …

Hi all, I am planning to take the 5K out of 67Rolla and swap everything (except the sump) onto my spare 3K. This is for 2 reasons: Reason 1 - Then I don't have to go over pits (already registered with the 3K) Reason 2 - The 3K block is tidy and in the original colour (I foolishly painted the 5K) Will everything else swap over if I bore out the 3K to 5K diameter?.. Head, Drive shaft, lumpy cam, pistons, con-rods, oil pump?? Are they the same height??

Hi Guys and Gals of Rollaclub, i'm embarrased and proud to say that my TE27 is in Fast Fours  :D When I was first asked if i wanted my car featured, I said I didn't think it would be right for that particular mag, but the editor was apparently trying to get a bit more old school flavour into it to get back some readers who may have been turned off by all the modern cars. anywho, it's the April edition with the VW golf on the front. enjoy! -Dave

Hey I'm trying to chase down an AE82 Twincam workshop manual but am having no luck. All the manuals I am finding 'exclude Twincam' models. Could anybody point me in the right direction as to where I can purchase an AE82 Twincam workshop manual, or if you have one you wish to sell? More specifically my corolla is a 1986 bluetop 4age AE82 Thanks in advance.

Gday guys, just wanting confirmation of how the hoses are run. I have just replaced the leaking heater core in the new twinky and really hoping someone can post a pic, or help me out with this. Its been a long time between twinkies. I made a crude diagram of the basic pre thermostat heater components (throttle body heater tap, heater core and thermostat housing). Ill post another of how mine is plumbed, any help is greatly appreciated (cmo carbonboy and trev). Cheers in advance guys, Luke.

i'm up for a new set of tyres for my ke15 but not sure which way to go. originally they run 12 x 4" rims with 155/80? x 12's (SL models had 4.5" rims) currently running 13 x 5.5" mazda 626 RWD steel rims with taller 175/70R13 tyres. i need 13's to clear the ke30 disc's on the front. with the current wheel/tyre combo there is not much clearance between the tyre and strut. i can't fit my pinky between the two. they fit just inside the guard at the front looking down. at the back i still get some scrubbing when loaded up on the guard lip, which has been rolled out a bit. would love to go something shorter sidewalled. ideally 185/60r13s but think they would s…
