SO here it is. 1982 KE70 4k with a 4ke EFI setup, SC12 supercharger running at 8-10 PSI. Electronic ignition, Microtech D5 ECU. custom piping belts, pullys whatever.. not sure. 5 speed. fully sick pod filter. Fuel setup is standard tank, lift pump into swirl pot, into a a bigger pumper then to motor lol. Car has 2 x jellybean mags, 2x hotwires. all new tyres, lowered on cutties lol. Hi there . just got my first corolla a 1975 KE35 hardtop. picked it up for $650 and drove it for 8 hours straight to get it home. shes got the 4k engine. but a four speed manual. the pics are attached if you want to comment.[ needing some advise on where to start in getting the little beast going a bit better. got some extracters and exhaust but thats about it. also would like to improve handling. what sort of price range is a 4age coversion worth?. is there any thing else could possibly look at? also what are some parts that are same as other models as this isn't the easiest thing to get parts for. any places that are best to look.

I bought this car off a friend of a friend, it already had the motor in the car although there were many corners cut. I blew the standard diff within 2 nights of owning the car, got another standard one for the time. It originally ran a rb25 T3 though the seals blew and I figured it was a good excuse to start with the upgrades. Specs as of now. G'day all, this is my new project which I have only had for a couple of days. It's a stock 1980 ke55 SE sedan 4k Auto (slug-o-matic) which I picked up for $350 unregistered. My plans are to put in a 5-speed box and fix a couple of minor issues, such as the drivers guard has had a small hit and the front bumper needs to be straightened slightly. Other then that it's quite a tidy example of this model. Anway I know your all dying to see some pics so here she is. :)

hey guys ive searched the forum and i havent stumbled onto anything like this so i want to get everyones thoughts on building a drift rolla. i've got a 25k budget and a blank canvas. so what would peoples advice be on which year corolla (i like the ones around 83-86), what engine (anything, v8, sr, ca, what ever will get me sliding), suspension, gear box. everything id need really from start to finish for a sweet drifting set up. or ultimately would a different car all together be better? hey guys picked up a 84 ae71 panelvan for 500 on sunday (no point doing a spec thingo lol she is stock) is 1 owner (me being the second) has all receipts/ manuals etc and even a lil panelvan poster from 1984 :) came with 6 months rego, a new clutch, new battery, new tyres and new timing belt. was fairly rooted in the front (front right guard/headlight was annihilated) which pushed the front out of shape but fixed it all in about 2 hours yesturday and put my ke70 slanty front end on it also put my driver seat and luisi wheel in ;) but drives like a new car really has a few lil noises but meh things to come: gonna lower it find some el cheapo wheels for it and …

3K began to chew oil, valve seals gone, bottom end barings gone, few other tiddley bits going pear shaped. Decided to send it to engine hospital and have a makeover. I know, a 3K is not worth it but it is something to waste money on. Step one. Took out the engine. Took half a day. Step two. Pulled every thing apart. Send bits off. Turned out two of the rear cylinders had absolutely NO water flow around them, totally cloged with crap. Good time to pull apart it would seem. The cam was absolutely hammered aswell. Well we have started on the re-shell today. first off was to get the rollcage out of the old body shell, off came the roof. 3 hours later we managed to remove the cage in 4 pieces.

82 ke70 life story: it cost me 2 cartons of beer and was sitting in a padoc for a year, it was previously used as a bush basher but they obviosuly didnt give it a reall hard time, it still had a radator full of fluid and sump full of oil. got it going for a while but the fule pump was rooted and the tank was full of rust anyway, so we found a mitsubishi magna with a in tank pump and straped the tank in the boot and hooked up the lines. then the next drama, the roof was wobbling like shit, so we put some strapping over top which didnt help. so in the end we just screwed the roof to the roll cage. the roof supports iscracked in places and still makes a *** loud ra…
