Hi everyone, Bit of a noob intro, I'm matt from the Sunshine Coast and here is my spirit that i've had for about 6 months now. I've been slowly doing little bits and pieces to get this old girl back on the road. We picked her up for a paltry price, the previous owner had to sell her due to geographic reasons, mainly that he wasn't remaining in our geographic location. He'd kindly removed all the rust and straightened the bumpers. Almost ready for paint... Here is my celica i have had for a few years and have had a few engine combos. she was a clean two owner before i got her now i guess she is a dirty three owner. i have currently put the 2tg back in and am fabricating some throttle bodies which are 95% done then do some wiring etc etc.

Hey guys. Currently own an Ae82 lift back model. Its a poverty pack :/ meaning its only got a 4ac engine in it sadly. What is the best thing i can do for my car to make it faster? if its possible hahahah.

ok, so on sunday 12th of september i went to ipswitch to pick put my ke30. had no rego or RWC so drove it back on a trade plate. endend up paying $1200 for it. was on dead empty so went to the servo, filled it for $45. drove it back to toowoomba using 1/4 of a tank. soon as we go back to toowoomba cops had a nice look :P got it home and stripped all the interior (door cards and all the little plactic parts)washed and got it ready for painting. black black black.:) sometime in the next week or two the car will be getting re-sprayed blue(a little darker then it is now) 3k. 4 speed manuel looking for a 5 speed but! and the origial rims and center caps. well …

Hey thought I'd start a thread for my newest Rolla which I picked up a few weeks ago off a young chick around the corner from mine. Basically its a 1983 AE71 CS Corolla auto. I am the third owner and it has done 187,000km. Bronze in colour, with gold pinstripes. Really good paint, some of it has been resprayed in the past. Pretty straight body, small dent in bonnet just with the usual rust in the rear. Interior is overrated condition tan vinyl/wool, pretty comfy and the seats are alot more supportive than the KE20 and KE30 seats I'm used to. Been looking for a second car for a while, it bit of an impulse buy that came up out of no where, but its perfect and suits me well. well iam o here doing a ride thread on my VE valiant which back in 08 and was rego'd but due to many bills back then i could not afford to keep the it rego'd and so it came off the road only to fix her back up and get it to pass roady which it did about 2 months ago, But the paint was really faded and so it decided i was into the light blue with the white roof contrast, So i decided it was time to freshen up the paint i repainted the white roof and keep the two tone it had i just changed the blue colour to a darker blue OCEAN blue and looks awsome. Ok guys i have been lurking here for a little while waiting to buy a car. Well last weekend i picked up a 1969 KE10B which was advertised on this forum. Reading through here a bit i see its advised to intro yourself and throw up some pictures of your car, so here they are. I bought the car with the intentions of painting it, putting in a new interior and using it as a daily driver. Well I have decided to put my 5k motor into the ke20. But first things first, I have taken it down to get reconditioned. I'm getting it bored out and fitted with flat top pistons if available seeing that the 5k motors came with scalloped out pistons because the combustion chamber is in the piston rather then the head, so this will up the compression. Also i'm getting a mild cam put in it and getting it ported and polished and bigger valves if possible. The guy said the motor will be ready to pick up by the end of the month. Been floating around here for a long time and I finally got off my arse and got a few pics of the Rolla. It has been used for motorkhanas for a long time so that is why it is covered in mud underneath. It is too hard to clean off. grotty looking 5k :) at least the oil leaks don't show up much side shot. Mods to strut mounts are not visible not factory tacho dash behind aftermarket tacho another interior shot modified rear springs so there are only two leaves Circle shows original control arm bolt hole (technically illegal with some clubs but who looks :P )

this is how I found the poor thing here is the 1200cc powerhouse since these were taken the car is out of the weeds. I have test fitted some 13x7 wheels and they will clear nicely. Ebay has graciously provided new brakes (ouch my wallet hurts) I have a nice Hyundai rear spoiler (re-commissioned as an airdam) thanks to U-pull-it (although I may go a different way). A friend is donating various Ford parts to make the car turn (cough swaybar cough). I think I have found some slicks for it on E-bay so it'll stick too. Here it is my 92 holden nova GS with the unusual 7afe 1.8 engine. i bought it about 8 or 9 months ago of my workshop controller who used to work at a toyota dealership, who told me that the car had been in his familly since it had 50000 kms on it(it now has 287000km) and i reckon with new valve stem seals the engine could do an other 200000km no problems. the rear window is coming off at the bottom, which is annoying as i have to drain thye water out of the boot every time it rains :glare: . hey i got told to make a new thread about my car so hear i am it is a 1978 ke30 i brought it off an old man for $700.00 i have done a fair bit to it since i first got it. it had a 3k in but i put 4k in it to give it a little bit more ooooNTH i have put 15'' inch medusa rims on it. 15/6.5 with firenza drift tyres 195/50r15 i have got 4x114.3 27mm bolt on spacers on to have these rims ;) lol i got a cyclops alarm system installed i did all audio my self , running 220 what kenwood cd player, with 420 what sony 6x9 speakers at back and 4 inch 80wat tweeters up front, then in the boot i got 800wat audio forced amp with pioner 800wat 12 inch sub. also got a enzo…

My AE71 This is my car, Just a typical AE71 with a thrashed 4AC, 5 Speed, Noisy Diff, 17" wheels etc. It needed more power so i took it to my mate Nick (NickZ) doesnt take him long for a engine change. Started saturday at 3:30 engine out in no time and new engine in by 5:15. Had it wired and firing by sunday afternoon. Just have to fit the EFI pump, radiator and weld the flange on the collector on the extractors that Nick made. 4AC to 4AGE Hmmmmm Nick Loves wiring.
