Had to do a little shuffle this arvo so as to get the red KE17 back under cover after being away at the workshop for the last few weeks. The silver one is my 1970 Corona RT72 1900 SL, The white KE17 SL is my wifes which she was thinking of selling, but now i've got it out and going again she's decided to hang on to in for now ( has been stored for the last 10 years) and finally the red KE17 SL which most of you already know.

So i told my mate who was looking to buy a car, went and had a look at it and brought her for cheap but had a few problems to fix up, Since it had problems it became more of a 'joint project' on weekends to fix, so this is our build. first drop, the survo to top up the radiator (had a leaky water pump gasket....) filled up 8 liters of water and headed to maccers. This is my beast.. an AE82 4AC. Its not really worth lookin at, unless ya go for pussbuckets. I thought id post it up as I'm new to these parts. Besides, it looks shockin now, but it'll get there eventually. The idea is to leave it as a 4AC, and try and squeeze as much out of the N/A as i can while keepin it reliable. I'm mostly interested in concentrating on everything else. As long as it looks respectable, and goes relativley hard, then I'm happy. I painted the front end black to try the colour. I've been working up the motivation to do this for a while now as its been on the road for 6 months or so. The car is street registered and engineered for all the mods. I've had this car for 8 years with numerous K motors in it before the urge to have a Rotary got the best of me 3 years ago. I got engineers approval and then ripped out the Hot 5K and twin carbs and sold them before I changed my mind about the conversion. I hit walls where workshops would quote $7K - $10K to do mounting of the motor and gearbox..... Then winter rolled on and I really couldnt be bothered with the car. '75 KE30 The day i bought it Our first day at work Lets see so far the specs on it are Extractors 2" exhaust rear louvres and two speed auto (slow and slower) Plans for it after we come back from Wagga are swapping out the auto for either the trimatic from a '55 or a 5 speed manual. G'day guys my name is Tom, I am from SA. I am 15 and a half and got my first car yesterday. Its a 1982 corolla luxury edition. Air con, 5 speed manual etc. The lady (60) who i bought it off had almost everything replaced on it so it was all smick. She drove it around the corner to her work and back everyday. Well here's the latest purchase and yes it was the one advertised on this forum. I don't understand why no one else snapped it up ?, original 51,000kms, factory 5 speed and absolutely NO RUST!. Car drives like new even has the original Uniroyal SR78 tyres, drivers seat needs a small repair and there are a couple of small dents which i'm going to have the paintless dent man attend to and after a buff and polish all the original factory paint will come up a treat.

hey guys have bought ae71 auto 3 owner and 82000km had the usual idea bolting a 4age and manual conversation but as today I'm also the owner of te71 gt so new plan is to transplant driveline (2tgeu 5peed and diff ) as the body on te is U/S i do have one question is better run efi or twin carbs??

This is my wifes KE17 that she thought she was going to sell but after i got it out gave it a little clean and had it prepared to be freighted to SA to the new very worthy owner ( sorry Jai ) she changed her mind. Whilst the car was tucked away in the shed the decision to sell was easy but after having it sitting in the carport and going for a drive any chance of it being sold was gone ( for now anyway ). Hard to believe after 10 years in storage just rebuilding the front calipers, a new battery and cleaning out the carbys and we're away again.

Here is the car guilty of slowing the progress on my conversion to my KE55. But I must say it has been a well worthwhile experience. It is the first time I have ever done a job such as this. It was a tiring one as I had only nights after my job to work on it. Anyway, it is an 1975 MS85 Crown Super Saloon. It's got all the jizz and jazz you could ask for back in the mid 70's. When I took the car, it was like this: The messy engine bay, powered by the 4AGTE 20valve. Silvertop. A few weeks later: 1 inch spacer for front rims and Advan Oni at the back. Tested the car at a track already. Car's response is good. Handling is awesome too. New stuffs that had arrived: Fender mirror. Full face helmet. Exterior wise will be all brand new. Well for a Birthday present dad knows alot of people and the car was respray painted red, all dents pulled out, brand new bonnet, cleaned interior, IVE PUT A 6" CANNON on lol looks good i think, replaced the badges to the newly modern toyota badge and tryed on my wheels that have been sitting around Next is its going in for an illegal black tint, looking for 17" black rims with chrome lip, wll lower it about 2" and a sunroof, then ill start on the interior and i already have a 700w amp and 1300 w sub hooked upp went driving the other night and just some photos from out and about let me know what u think

About time I posted up my project daily dx. Picked up back in 2002 with no rego no warent and in need of a good spruce up. It had already been started of with a Calipso Blue paint job. Well 1st of all we needed to fix the wiring which was a mess and sort out brakes with some pads. After having the car road worthy with a fresh warrent and rego i decided to sort out the height and installed some dobi lowering springs and new shocks all round. Though considering this is the rolla club I might have to start some ride threads for my rolla's. Well I've actually had this car for a long time. it started as a Standard ke35 that i bought for $200, used it as a daily till the 3k decided it had enough. I then threw a 2tg in it and T50 box. once I got some more power I blew 2 diffs. so I upgrade to a TA22 rear end converted to leaf springs. It liked this better. I started racing the car at sprints. Then I wanted a bit more from it and installed the race wheel and raceseat, plus some neccesary gauges for safety. After having some fun I got it lowered, the old fashion way...chopped the front…
