I don’t think I have ever been asked a question so many times when people ask me if I’m going to put a 4AGE or a 3SGE, “why would you put a Hilux donk in an AE71” Good point. I'd like to log the progress of my KE20 as it makes its way from a rough old original to a neat streeter. Purchased the vehicle on the 1/8/2010 for $1500. I saw it driving home from the wreckers after buying new seats for my daily. I've been told i'm the third owner. Originally owned by some old biddy, then a younger dude, whom I bought it off. Hey Hey, This is my 5/70 Ke11 SE. The car was sold by Bill McCluskey's River view motors on Coronation Dr, Milton in Brisbane. A lady in Camp hill bought the car on the 22nd of May 1970. The 1000 mile inspection and Pre delivery was done by River view motors and every service after that was done on time at a Shell service station on Cavendish Rd at Coorparoo. I think the original rego was PPJ-859. The car has its warranty book, owners manual, A.M.I Electrocoat booklet, AWA authorised car radio service stations booklet and a diamond dot tape mate instruction booklet. Bought from a guy in county NSW for a very good price 4k with extractors and 2 inch exhaust Ke55 front brakes standard diff - have now been through 3 2 1/4'' lowering blocks Saab 15'' intercepters on the rears Future plans have differed between SR, CA, Rotary, and turbo K series. I've had this KE70 for about 2 months and so far and I've only done a few minor cosmetic mods. De-stickered, old steering wheel I had, pool ball shift knob, monster tacho mounted dodgily in dash, seat covers & aluminum exhaust tip. The original tip was about 3" long after the muffler and the new one is about 7". It's just siliconed on for a bit of bling bling but it it actually made the exhaust a lot quieter. Current specs are: 4K engine with a cam of unknown specs. Wanted to show off a previous toy I once had. It's a 1981 Toyota Cressida with a mild Holden 308ci V8. Crane cam, Edelbrock manifold, Holley 600. Worked Trimatic, and Ford 9 inch diff to suit. Hilux struts, front brakes and calipers, Ford drums rear. Had a 2 & 3/4inch exhaust (so it was loud). And it attracted plenty of attention. Surprisingly plenty of it good attention. Decided it was time to start a rides thread!! Background on cars- Ive had the black ke35 since new in my family and will never part with it, it started as a british green 2 speed auto 3k. Hey guys just bought a KE55 corolla :D just thought i'd join this forum to see what others have done with theirs and what i can do to mine. bought this car last week and i like it so much more than i thought haha good fun to drive but its a bit slow for my liking so I'm looking for parts/ ideas to make it go that bit better without having to do an engine conversion but i probs will end up doing that one day but for now ill stick with this motor til i have the money. just a few things about it... its done 204000k's, stock standard performance wise, lowered on 13" splats and overrated condition on the inside 4 spd manual.

Hey fairly new to posting but have been lurking the site for a few years now... Finally got my P's round december last year.. yet to loose them earlier this year... Ive got an 1993 corolla manual with 189,XXX on the clock, which has been lowered with 15's on it... Doesn't look too bad but iv'e always had my eye on a ke20.. Inside is stock as a rock.. although have put a full Alpine system ranging from head unit, 2x 6" with tweaters... 2x 6x9 in custom parcel shelf amp and sub... The car didnt come with a tacho so i went a got a stock cluster from u pull it and fitted that in it... Thats about it.. Cheers Tom

Hey all, I'm new here. Got my 1994 Corolla AE101 Seca CSX a week ago as I needed a reliable daily. I chose this particular car because of its hidden prowess. It has a fairly fresh tiwin cam 4AGE 20 valva (aka silvertop) It was a nice surprise to me that it also came kitted with the interior for a corolla trueno/sprinter which feature much nicer sportier seats that are so damn comfy which make my everyday commuting a pleasure. It comes tinted, lowered on Kings / Monroes, with some nice 16” rims, fully resprayed in the original colour of Kingston Blue. It’s got the stock 4K with a 3sp gearbox. Hey guys, Recently bought myself a 82' Flat front ke70. Bought it off "old fella" on here. I had been looking for a few months before i found one i was keen to buy. It has a rebuilt engine, with a 25/65 cam, new exhaust etc. Was by far the best ke i came across in my price range. I wont be going all out on this car as i have a 78 XC falcon that takes up the majority of my spare time and a 77 120Y datto that takes up the rest. Here's the newest addition to Wagon Mafia, Havasu Chapter. She's a 1980 Corolla wagon, 3TC with an Auto trans. The car was bone stock when we got it a couple of weeks ago, picked it up right. Someone towed it wbehind a motorhome or something, so there was a big ole' gnarly towbar in the front, and they did a horrible DIY trailer light kit, and whoever did it obviously was not a technician. As you can see, the floors are all there, and the car is pretty solid, some scrapes and bumps, but overall not bad for the money.
