Hey Guys, Considering the option of respraying the Rolla while the engine is out and engine bay is completely stripped. Looking for someone locally who can do a top job but of course on a budget! Anyone on here willing to do the job or know of someone who can? It was only resprayed a few years ago so very limited body work required. A little sink back in some areas, some very minor dents and slight bubbling of rust around filler cap. Aside from that the car is still in really good solid condition. Thinking of going a satin white finish, or maybe a different white. Most importantly is getting the body back to dead straight.

Hello all I've recently purchased a KE 10 and I'm looking at upgrading the front seats. Do the seats have to fold for rear access to obtain a R.W.C in Victoria or can I just bolt any old seat to the rollas existing rail?

Hi, So I have this folder on my desktop that is full of pics of cars that I have pinched from all over the net. I thought it was time for a photo dump! Mostly toyota but also some random other ones in there. You will have seen some before but not all! I will be adding more when I find them. If you catch my drift / dig my style please feel free to add some of your own! K, GO!

Hey everyone, I just purchased a 1982 ke70 wagon for $200 and was wondering what are some good mods to do? I plan to do an SR conversion down the road but for the moment I'm low on cash and low on space! so i need this bad boy up and running, it needs a new head gasket, its running but it overheats and sounds rough (I havent been driving it, this is what ive been told from the previous owner), its 100% stock and the rear hatch doesn't open because its been pushed in by a 4x4 or something. I've been in love with ke70's for a few years now so i want to do this right, i don't care how long it takes to be perfect but ill get her there :)

G'Day Rollas, I need some advice in regards to removing excess glue and rotting carpet from the boot of my KE70. I've tried steel wool, turpes.. even a chisel and nothing seems to remove it. Just wondering is anyone has any ideas or has managed to remove this kind of stuff before? I want to try and save the paint if possible. Cheers.

Hello Gents/Ladies Te21 Vs Ke2x I'm here in US and own a 1974 Corolla - labelled Te-21 ( Deluxe 2 door model with 4 speed transmission and 2TC 1.6L motor.) I am trying to find parts and always see these models bundled together. I would like to know what are the differences if any, so I can buy the correct parts to restore. I've looked on Wiki for comparison but they still fall under the same grouping. I would like to know the difference/similarities in the front cross member area so I can order the right parts/kits for a motor swap as well as any other interchangeable suspension items. Thank you in advance. Great site. Moe

Strolling around the beautiful south gippsland country side over the Melbourne Cup weekend, my eye was drawn to this piece of artwork in a gallery. Can't quite see it on my wall, but may take someone's fancy. It's got altezzaclub written all over it, or perhaps corollaart might pop it up on the living room wall. Takumitax? I can already see KE55 parts escalating thanks to the mcphersontax.

Hi Members, Any Brisbane members want to bring their ke30-55 series rolla by my place (mitchelton) so I can see if the Subaru 1000 lips I have will fit them. If so Ill do a lip for $100 to whoever brings the car by, saving them $50, plus you'd be the first with that combination if it works. PM if your interested.

Well as the topic says, I will be putting together the Rollaclub 2009 Calendar. The way it will work is that there wont be one car per month like the 2006 Calendar. This time around we will be displaying each community under each month. eg. January - Brisbane February - Sydney March - Melbourne April - Queensland other May - NSW Other (These are just examples, the order may be different.) Now I was hoping that each community would get together and take their best group shot of everyone. But if you can't get a group shot, we can do a bunch of smaller shots grouped together. As for the price, that is yet to be determined but may be in…

Hi All, While this is a Victorian event, I'd thought I'd post it here so more people could see it. Please move if you feel fit mods. The organisors of the RACV Energy Breakthrough www.racvenergybreakthrough.net/ need more volunteers to man corners for this years Energy Breakthrough. If you have a couple of hours to spare on either the 20th or the 21st of November and don't mind a drive to Maryborough, they NEED YOU! No experience required, you just need to respond to any incidents on you corner/post. If you are interested, PM myself or contact the organisors direct via the web page. If you have any interest in engineering/racing this is the event for you.…

Hey, I've been tempted lately by the big 4 litre tins of Septone acrylic car paint in Supercheap. That sounds bad already. I can’t remember the exact prices but with primer, clear coat etc. It works out around $250ish. Which appeals a bit more to me since the quote I got from a paint shop was around $400 to $500 for the lot including there cheap spray gun. Is there a quality difference? Is Septone going to last me as long, I'd like more than six months before my wheel arches start to rust again (KE70) Actually I really want a car I can drive in the rain again, the poor things half in primer (primer looks porous to me?) Compressor wise, there is a 2.5…

Hello. I have been hunting online and searching and for the life of me can't really find much information on the 1975 Corolla Wagon 5 door with the 22re motor. I'm curious because we just purchased on that is in great condition. We are picking it up this week. To my knowledge everything is original and it has approximately 53,000 miles on the engine. So, do any of you have any information in regards to value, restoration etc.? Several people wanted to buy this little gem to use for a demo derby car!! I'm not even a vintage car enthusiast (sorry my husband is the Toyota lover) and I didn't want anyone to destroy this little gal. Thanks in advance guys!! Here's a…

The front left shock on my car is leaking grease and I have been told the back shocks are a bit old and have caused uneven ware on my rear tyres. I am planning to fix it all myself. I have seen shocks on ebay (from the USA) for less than $400 + postage for all four. I don't want to buy off the net because I am unsure of the quality. I got quoted from Repco $574 for both front shocks (E7008) and $161 for each rear shock (341338) - the guy mentioned they were Monroe shocks and did not come with springs. I would prefer to get them locally from a reputable dealer rather than the net - plus I would like to do the fix this weekend rather than wait forever for a package …

Hey all so I've tried about 5 locksmiths now and they all can't seem to find the key to identical to mine. It is a key for a 1970 corolla ke10B, fairly sure it is the original key but then again not 100% certain. Does anyone know a locksmith around the Brisbane area that would be able to cut a spare for my key? here is a picture of it.
